Really good experience

Tried to leave this 6 months ago but trust pilot thought I was a robot….. Had an amazing experience with them from the quote through to collection, the team were very professional, big thanks to Dee for keeping me informed, I’m very happy with the work done 10/10

Quality of work and estimaters 10/10 l, reception and customer service requires some improvement

Arrived for a quote and was seen immediately by Andy, very professional courteous and kind. Wrote the quote promptly.

Went through insurance and it was all booked speedily, had Andy ring to see if I was Persuing the quote and advised all booked in for the Monday.

Arrived to collect courtesy car advised I couldn't be down before the school run. A receptionist had turned the courtesy car away. Thankfully they waited for me, but it could of been different if they weren't so patient. I tried to book the car and was told no they had no idea I was coming, didn't have the parts ordered and weren't in and couldn't accept my car. I had taken the day off to work to get the car in and was very frustrated.

After an hour of me ringing several people at the insurance company, the courtesy company ringing the insurance company and then someone speaking to Andy from the insurance company, my car could then be axcepted and shouldn't of ever been refused. So took over an hour and a half to hand my car in.

I was kept upto twice weekly by Andy via emails, and made aware of a small delay with paint workshop. This wasn't to big of a problem as I had a courtesy car.

On collection of my car it was very quick and simple, left my courtesy car there and collected mine and left.

The maturer receptionist was blunt and rude and very dissmive with no support, whilst the younger lady was much more supportive in trying to support a resolution. Hence me giving a 4/5. The other receptionist gave no consideration to supporting the car getting booked in as discussed with Andy and the insurance company.

We’re very sorry for the experience you had when arriving to drop off your vehicle. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after taking time out of your day.

Following a review of the situation, it appears there was a communication error between the insurer and ourselves. The estimate and booking arrangements were handled through the insurer, and at the time of your arrival the repair had not yet been authorised. Without this authorisation, we are unfortunately unable to order parts or begin work.

In this instance, the vehicle was booked in by the insurer before authorisation was in place, which resulted in your vehicle remaining on site for approximately a week without parts ordered or repair work being able to start. This is something we actively try to avoid, as it can lead to unnecessary delays and inconvenience to our customers.

Based on the information available to them at the time, our reception team believed that neither the courtesy vehicle nor the booking had been confirmed. That said, we fully appreciate that this was not your fault, and the situation should have been handled more smoothly with clearer support on arrival.

We’re pleased that the matter was ultimately resolved and that communication throughout the repair was clear and consistent. We also take on board your feedback regarding the variation in customer service you experienced, and this will be addressed internally to ensure a more consistent and supportive experience for all customers.

My experience with AutoFix was…

My experience with AutoFix was excellent from start to finish. The team repaired my Toyota Yaris Hybrid professionally and kept me informed throughout the process. What really stood out was their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Not only was the repair completed to a high standard, but they also thoroughly washed and cleaned the entire car, including polishing the tyres, leaving it looking almost brand new. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, making the whole experience stress-free.
AutoFix is doing very well in terms of workmanship, customer service, communication, and attention to detail. It is clear that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. I was very satisfied with the service I received and would happily recommend AutoFix to others. Fix Auto Accident Repair Review

Fix Auto did a professional job with the repair. One observation - the telephone calls on occasions made to Fix Auto were not answered on occasions and went through to messenger service - only one lady on reception not able to handle the volume of calls,

Very straight forward service

Very straight forward service. Offered to pick up our car and drop off a courtesy car. We live an hour away so very handy.Took a few weeks and had a few updates during this time by email. Rang us when it was ready and offered to bring it back the same day to pick up the courtesy car. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

This was an insurance job arranged by…

This was an insurance job arranged by the insurance company. The work done was excellent and they even offered to do other work on the car at a very affordable price. Their communications were clear and helpful and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only criticism is small, and I am sorry that it means that they only get four stars. The pressure on the staff to get the client to review their work came out in almost every conversation. By the end of my contact with them, I really didn’t want to review them, even though they were friendly, helpful and did a beautiful job! So here I am - my only request is that you just cut back on the review requests - at least with a grumpy old timer like me.

Friendly efficient service

I scraped my bumper on a stone wall while reversing in a tight parking area, nothing major but needed tidying up. Went round to Fix Auto whose friendly staff gave me an estimate on the spot. They did an excellent repair, a day quicker than forecast despite being very busy, and give a lifetime guarantee!

Excellent quality repair

Was told the repair would take 7-10 days and it was done in 6 days.
Dee in reception was very polite and helpful. I also overheard her talking to an elderly customer trying to tell her his reg with a bad signal. It was painfully funny but she was patient and professional which I felt was great customer service. The repair itself is superb. I actually had to check the other door as I thought I had mistakenly checked the wrong door.
I’m sure they also repaired a tiny dent which I hadn’t highlighted on a different area of the damaged door.
Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Repair

Perfect Repair of front wing.
I am very pleased with the 'as new' appearance of work done.
I was impressed that they hurried the last part of the process when I said that a medical appointment meant that I needed my car. The receptionist Dee helped with this and kept me informed of the progress on that last day.
My only reservation was the loan car was very small and basic, so not very much help as my wife has mobility problems.
I willingly recommend AutoFix as their work is extremely good and the staff friendly.

Car repair after a small frontal crash

Positive aspects:
- The car was perfectly repaired (after a small frontal crash)
- The car was delivered washed and clean.
- The attendants were friendly and always happy to inform me about the status during the repair process.
Negative points:
- It took quite a long time to collect my car and then to repair it.
- In the end the availability of people to deliver the repaired car at my address (as previously agreed) was low and would take several days, which made me to travel from Bristol to Weston-super-mare to collect it myself.

We really appreciate your comments around the timescales. Your vehicle was booked in around two weeks after we received the photos, as it was not an urgent repair and remained safe to drive. During the repair, a few additional parts were needed at the refit stage. While we did keep you updated at the time, we completely understand that this can still feel like it adds to the overall wait.

We’re also very sorry that the delivery option wasn’t as convenient as originally planned. We understand that travelling from Bristol to Weston-super-Mare to collect your vehicle was not ideal, and we appreciate you making the journey.

Excellent Workmanship & Customer Service

Fix auto Weston-super-Mare kept me updated throughout the two weeks my car was with them to be repaired after hitting a deer on the M5.
I am very fussy and love my car so was delighted with the quality of the work. Customer service also excellent, especially Dee in the office.

Have dealt with fix auto WSM now a few…

Have dealt with fix auto WSM now a few times over the years. They’ve done a great job and quickly too. They called and offered a private job on another part of my car which was very reasonable and made sense to do whilst they had it. The courtesy car I had this time was not a great car to drive but not their fault as they were swapping them out, just unlucky on the day that the new ones weren’t insured for me to take. Overall great service and both Lorna and Dee very helpful on reception - thanks again

Excellent job fixing my car

Excellent job fixing my car, took some time for the genuine parts to come in but I was kept updated every step of the way, Dee was very helpful in keeping me informed on the progress and sorting out the return of my car when it was done, have used them before, would recommend them again.
