Great work and fast turnaround! Fix Auto is a solid choice.
The Highlights:
Speedy Turnaround: I was impressed that they completed the repairs in less than a week.
Communication: They kept me well-informed throughout the process, so I was never left wondering about my car.
Repair Quality: The actual repair work was great, my car looks back to its original state.
The "Extras": My car was returned to me very clean, which is always a nice touch after it's been in the garage.
The Minor Setback:
The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is due to some residue left on the seats, I assume from the cleaning products used. There was a small drop on the front passenger seat, but the rear driver’s side seat had quite a bit more. It’s taken a fair amount of elbow grease to get the marks out of the back seat.
Overall: If you want fast, professional repairs and great communication, Fix Auto is a solid choice. Just give your upholstery a quick once-over when you pick it up!

Obviously it’s never great to have to have gone to Fix Auto in the first place, of course it means a bump. Particularly it was my first bump i’ve had driving so I was a bit clueless on what to do and also what to expect. Fix Auto called me up sooner than expected (my insurance told me it would be within 48hrs, it was within 6 hours), from here communication was great. I work in the town centre and the guys at Fix Auto got in early upon both drop off and collection to assist me in getting to work on time, no questions asked they just offered! Communication through was absolutely great with email, text, and call updates over the few days my car was with them.
Would highly recommend Fix Auto Manchester East as I was put at ease through what could have been quite a stressful experience :)

Poor communication and rude and aggressive management
The vehicle was recovered to this garage following on from a non fault accident
The engineer from the insurance provider and the garage disagreed relative to the course of action for the repair the garage failed to do the repair required meaning the vehicle had to be moved to a more competent facility to carry out the repair on my comprehensive insurance policy.
My advice based on my contact with this garage is to avoid them at all costs as the management who are new are rude and totally unprofessional

An absolutely hilarious reply from ed at fix auto and if you believe shouting at a customers parent and screaming is an appropriate way to do business then we wish you well for the future.
Your inspection is noted however it’s a poor show when an accident repair garage refuses to repair accident damaged vehicles and it’s really not for you to suggest in your reply or to comment how two contracting parties settle a contractual agreement. You are not a party to that contract in any way.
You failed in your part to do your job and at the same time provided extremely poor customer service which is the reason for the review. That is in no way a disingenuous review. Backpedaling on your part in response to the review is nothing but petty
An apology for the shouting would have perhaps been a more professional response especially as you didn’t even check if you were speaking to the right person before you launched into your threatening verbal attack.
And please also note the car was provided to the insured and policyholder who is an 18 year old and your member of staff on delivery told her to treat it as her own until hers was repaired which means she is able to drive it around as she would have done in her own vehicle but for a non fault accident.
Again I repeat the review the customer service is shocking the staff are rude and clearly do not wish to acknowledge or accept when things go wrong on their part.
And finally no you didn’t return my daughter’s vehicle to her today which is wholly inaccurate information on your part, I suspect so you can try and charge for storage for a vehicle your not storing? I’d suggest you stop posting inaccurate information in a public forum there is a clear paper chain and this is inaccurate recollection on the part of fix auto. Your conduct has been reported to the insurer who is the paying party with a clear timeline and details of the above poor customer service which does nothing but reflect on the uk wide business
Not under new management?
I’m fully aware of franchise manager Brian’s sudden passing which clearly has impacted on record keeping and phone skills of the staff as demonstrated above as you can’t even record correctly what’s happened at your end.
This clearly places you under new management within the east Manchester franchise.

Unfortunately, in this instance your account is somewhat disingenuous and, in several area, completely false.
After being notified by your accident management company of the accident we arranged with you a convenient time for us to collect your car. On inspection by one of our damage assessors, he noticed that it had been poorly repaired previously, which we referred to the insurance engineer on how they wished us to proceed. The engineer advised that due to the very poor condition of the car they would not authorize any repairs and the car should be returned to you and no work carried out. There was no disagreement and we were in total agreement with the engineer.
The car has not gone to another garage (competent or otherwise), as it will, in all likelihood, be dealt with on a cash in lieu of repairs basis. In fact, we delivered it back to your home address.
The issue at the heart of this is the refusal by yourself to return our courtesy car and your insistence that we could not have it back for several weeks, indeed you wanted your 18 year old daughter to take it away for a week’s holiday!
In all dealing with you we have acted politely and professionally and I feel that it was more the message that you did not like not the way it was delivered.
Happy to discuss this further should you wish.
I would also add that we are also not under new management.
