Slow and shoddy
Picked up my car and did nothing with it for almost 2 weeks. It was a bumper replacement and it came back fitted incorrectly so now needs to go back again. They also drove it to one of their locations an hour away despite there being a local location.

Quality control after care lacking
Book in date changed due to need for courtesy car, I didn't take in the end..
Car delayed 24 hours to go through quality control after repairs..
Then found bonnet badge missing.
Waiting 4 weeks after repair for this to be rectified..
Quality control didn't pick up this omission I had to!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Unfortunately had to put my car here for repair. They were very rude on the phone. Twice I went to check my car after being repaired. And twice it wasn’t repaired correctly. More damage caused to the car while in this garage. Paint work full of runs. Panel gaps all wrong. New bumper not even bolted on correctly. Paint flaking off of newly painted bumper. When confronted about all this manager Brian said it was my problem not his. Very poor customer service. Definitely would not recommend anyone using this garage unless you want very poor quality of work. Avoid at all costs

We are sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with your recent experience however, we must address several points raised in your message.
You have stated that our team was “very rude.” We strongly refute this. Throughout your interactions with us, our staff remained professional despite the manner in which they were spoken to. The language and tone used towards our team were, at times, unacceptable and among the most challenging we have encountered.
In relation to the repairs, any concerns you brought to our attention were addressed and rectified promptly. At no stage did Brian indicate that the repairs were not our responsibility. This is simply not an accurate reflection of the conversations that took place.
What was clearly communicated was the need for the return of our courtesy vehicle. At that point, you advised that this was “not your problem” as you were travelling to Cornwall. This placed us in a difficult position, as the vehicle remained our property and was required back as agreed.
We take pride in our workmanship and customer service, and we always aim to resolve any issues raised. However, we expect mutual respect in all interactions.
If you wish to discuss this matter further in a constructive manner, we remain available to do so.

repair looks amazing - like a brand new car.
The repair took a week longer than expected.
On pick up Apart from the repair area my car was dirty and dusty and needed taken straight to the car wash it was also covered in bird poo.
I gave four stars but had my car been washed for collection I would have given five.

Easy experience
Garage got in touch quickly to arrange to assess the damage, repairs were completed before the estimated date and all staff I met on my visits were friendly. Repairs have been done well.

This is the worst auto body shop that I have ever dealt with and as for only assessing the cars damage then once stripped they found more parts damaged and had to wait even longer for my car nearly 3 months when the car should have been assessed properly at the beginning and all parts ordered in one go

I’m sorry to read that you feel this way about your experience.
When your vehicle first arrived, we carried out a full visual assessment. However, as is often the case with accident repairs, additional damage only became visible once the vehicle was fully stripped. The extra plastic trims and components that were required were raised as supplementary items at that stage. Unfortunately, not everything can be identified with 100% accuracy until dismantling has taken place.
That said, the main delay in completing your repairs was due to a single part that was on national back order for over three months. This was entirely outside of our control, and we kept you updated as best we could while waiting for the part to become available.
We always aim to deliver high quality repairs and get vehicles back to customers as quickly as possible. To describe us as the “worst” body shop feels, in our opinion, excessive given the circumstances particularly as the final repair outcome was completed to a high standard.
We genuinely wish you all the best going forward and, in the nicest possible way, hope your vehicle gives you many trouble free miles ahead.
