I was referred to Fix auto as a third party, by the insurance of the lady who bumped into my car (from behind). I am so disappointed to say they sent my car back without completing the job as required, only because they wanted their courtesy car back. My car was for work and I needed to use it. I couldn't work without a car until mine was completed. When I told them I couldn't release their courtesy car until mine was done ,the manager of this company shouted at me, he was so rude. He spoke to me as if he was talking to a kid. Few minutes later his two ( huge) drivers were by my office door to drop my car without an agreement and not completed. That was so intimidating. I called the insurance who referred us there and they told us to give them back their car and bill the insurance for the extra costs. Today my car started to have noises from the engine. Called a recovery to check and was told that the fan belt was cut and left a small part hanging, so it was peeling off and causing that noise. Right now my car has been taken to the garage to be fixed. I am not impressed with the way I was treated and my car too.

Polite & efficient operation for accident repair
Initial contact was done by e-mail & sent photos of the damage so no need to take the car in for assessment. Nice staff handled the drop off & pick up efficiently (thanks Emma). Told me it would take a week & it was that exactly, looks a good quality job.

My car went into be mended and they have messed up all the wiring my car won't lock. I phoned them and they have given is no help at all, told me to go back through my insurance company what a joke.

I cant praise Fix Auto enough. I managed to render my car undriveable after a bang with a parked car , on a Sunday morning.I managed to get my car towed to my home. I contacted my insurance company Monday. On Monday evening I had a phone call from a representative from AutoFix informing they had been passed the job from my insurance and that they would be ringing me back to organise the pickup the following day. Also would I like a courtesy car. The next morning the truck arrived to collect my car and give me my delightful Hyundai i10.
Less than 2 weeks later I received a call from the young lady telling me my car was ready. Would I like it delivered or collect. I collected it and what a shock. The car that got towed away was undriveable and absolutely filthy inside and out.
The car I got back is absolutely immaculate. It felt and looked like a new car. It drives beautifully.

As previously mentioned. I am thoroughly pleased and impressed with AutoFix.

There isn't much more I can say about this garage that hasn't already been said.
My 2021 Skoda Octavia LE was repaired to perfection, as new. The car was cleaned inside and out, it looked as if it had just come from the showroom, pristine.
As this car is loaded with sensors everything is working as it should.
Highly recommended. The staff are very polite and helpful. You cannot go wrong by using this garage, 5 star.

Everyone I dealt with - Reception, Workshop and the car delivery drivers - were all pleasant and helpful. Courtesy car was delivered clean and in good order (only a year old) and repair to the
body work on my vehicle only took a week. My vehicle returned with excellent repair and the exterior washed over.
Referred to FixAuto by my Insurance Company so no previous knowledge of the Company but in all a good experience.

Repair was great.
Delays and cancellations frustrating.
Rather expensive, but you get what you pay for.

3 1/2 week wait for first appointment.
Appointment cancelled day before owing to lack of courtesy car.
Next appointment cancelled day before owing to insurance work getting priority for courtesy cars.
Tried to postpone for a third time owing to lack of availability of courtesy car.
Repair took a week and looks good. Shame it eventually took seven weeks since first walking through the door.
Somehow my car also gained over 50 miles during its stay.

Can’t fault the work carried out plus the driver returning my car also washed my car & hovered & cleaned inside. However timescale I can fault, was initially advised 7 -10 days; I phoned after 9 days & again after 14 days, advised backlog due to sickness, phoned again day 16 asked to ring back later, asked them to ring me, which they didn’t so after another phone call to them advised car was ready & arranged for it to be returned to me.

There were 2 occasions people were supposed to ring me back that never did, necessitating me to make another call, however on 2 other occasions I was rung back.

All in all quite happy just would’ve nice to have been kept informed of what was happening without me having to keep ringing

Great customer service from Fix Auto Chelmsford! My car went in for repairs to the suspension and this was completed professionally, to a high standard and I was kept informed as to progress throughout. Being offered a courtesy car while mine was off the road was a welcome bonus! I would highly recommend this company.
