The rep that answered my call made my experience the best. The rep’s name is Slater. He was wonderful. He suggested a set, I felt it was too costly. My husband heard the conversation and gave me the thumbs up, so I purchased it. The initial coin that I ordered and the three piece set of coins I ordered arrived at the same time. They are very beautiful but, they are very tiny. Thinking back, I don’t recall hearing the weight of the 24kt gold coins. The $5 coin of John Jay is 1/20th ounce. The $2 coin of Thomas Jefferson is 1/50th ounce and the $1 coin of George Washington is 1/100th ounce, I got two of the $1 coins. They are all 99.9% pure 24karat gold. The original $1 George Washington had a very reasonable price. The set was expensive and I am questioning our decision to purchase it. It is done now, we won’t return it, we will not be purchasing more.

False selling
False selling. Intense hard selling. Persuasive selling. Bought a set of Queen Elizabeth 2 tribute gold sovereigns only to be told by different coin specialists that you pay well over the top as per worth. Not sold for investment purposes is what they say! Sold recently at a loss when gold price was high. Feel like I was mis sold. I complained to the company to be told they would ring me back. Guess what no follow up phone call. Won’t be buying from them again. I’ll stick with Spinks.

Our clients purchases for a variety of reasons. However, we are very clear that we are not investment advisors and we do not sell on that basis. This is a beautifully designed, historic, gold investment product, and is very competitively priced! The Sovereign was beautifully and elegantly packaged. The shipment included one free copy of Stewart Binns. ‘The Making of Our United Kingdom’. I received on-going tracking emails from The Royal Mail throughout the shipment.
