Awesome experience in Devon! Me and my partner Hannah did a half day glass blowing experience and loved it. Issac was a brilliant teacher, and within about 20 minutes of being in the studio had us actually moulding and shaping molten glass. We made three pieces during the workshop and picked them up after they’d cooled down. This was a very good 30th birthday, highly recommend.

Friendly and welcoming family run business where my son and I had our first try at glassblowing, something I had been wanting to try for a long time. We had our choice of items to make and colours to use and were talked through every step of the process, getting as hands on as possible. Definitely an experience to remember and one I would recommend.

Given as a recent birthday present to me by my wife; what wonderful experience it was! Firstly it was easy to find (great instructions) and in very beautiful surroundings . The instruction and guidance by Izach and Debby was first class. I produce three items in the time; namely a paper weight, vase and a bowl ~ using striking colours. Many friends have already commented on the high quality of the items that I created! I would highly recommend the course and would at look at going again, thanks Guys👍

Debby was really helpful from the first inquiry I made, really quick responses. On the day we were greeted and made to feel so welcome. It’s such a beautiful place. Meeting Izach who explains everything so well and is so patient and amazing at what he does, we created some amazing pieces of glass while Debby took photos and videos. Will definitely be going back again soon.

What a brilliant experience. My wife booked this for our wedding anniversary and we loved it. On arrival we had a lovely welcome by Debby followed by a quick visit to the office to see what it would be possible to make. Then down to the workshop to meet Izach for the tour and safety brief. We were then straight in to it. Fantastic, well delivered guidance and encouragement from a highly skilled Izach resulted in us producing 3 lovely pieces, a paper weight, posey vase and my new whiskey glass. One of the most enjoyable things I have done in a long time. We will be back, ( I need a whiskey decanter to match.) Thank you Fire Work Glass Studio.

Hi,
My wife and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Izach and Debby were both very welcoming and also very professional in what they were doing. Izach is a great teacher who his passionate about his craft.
At the end of the session we had all produced a glass item, in my case a very nice blue paper weight
Just to say Debby took some great pictures and a short video of us all working, the photos all gave the impression we were all “seasoned professionals “
I would recommend anybody to try one of these glass blowing courses, you will have a lot of fun and learn a lot.
By the way you’ll love their dogs .

We had such a wonderful morning in the glass studio. Izach is such a passionate, knowledgable teacher. He guided us through not only the steps we needed to take to create our pieces, but the science behind it too. Fascinating stuff! We're thrilled with the paperweight, glass and vase that we made. And would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it.

A mother, daughter outing to celebrate a birthday and what a wonderful time we had.
Situated in the most beautiful setting, welcomed warmly by Debby and Izach (as well as their lovely doggy Shaka)

Debby and Izach work so well together ensuring that each process is as seamless as possible. Debby takes some fantastic photos throughout the experience and sends them over when finished - a lovely touch!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a glass art experience at Fire Work Glass Studio in Dipford near Totnes, and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the session was engaging, educational, and incredibly enjoyable.
The process was fast-paced but well-structured, ensuring we learned a lot while still having the freedom to explore our creativity (under the expert guidance of Izach). The hands-on approach allowed us to choose our own designs and techniques, making the experience feel personal and meaningful. My wife created some beautiful glasswork, while I crafted a whisky glass, and we were both thrilled with the results.
The atmosphere in the studio was warm and welcoming. Our group was small, which made for an intimate experience. Izach and Debby were knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, guiding us through each step while keeping the experience relaxed and fun. They even provided tea and coffee, adding to the homely feel.
A lovely touch was the recommendation to visit a local pub afterward (The Avon Inn), which rounded off the day perfectly. A few days later, we collected our finished pieces, which were beautifully crafted and will serve as lasting reminders of a truly special experience. When we collected we took our boys and Debby gave them a quick demonstration. They have a Hungarian Vizsla which tells you they are good people!
I highly recommend The Fire Work Glass Studio for anyone looking for a unique and creative activity near Totnes. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some artistic experience, this is a fantastic way to learn a new skill and create something meaningful.
