The company called me informing about the situation and confirmed the Interest Wallet is not available to all freelancers/businesses.
I raise the review to 2* just for the fact of calling asking for apologies.

I opened the account moved by the (temporary) 5% rate on their Interest Wallet for businesses and freelancers. And of course considering to keep using it afterwards, if the experience would prove to be postive.
It was too good to be true :(
Days passed after I got the account created and validated, with no visible option on how to open the Interest Wallet.
It turned out, after I reached out to customer service, that such Wallet is "available only to accounts that meet certain regulatory, compliance and account-status eligibility criteria which unfortunately we're not able to share".
I was considering using it regularly because of this incentive but without it, other fintechs offer better in-app experiences or services for their paying plans (17€ for Finom's Basic while you have Rev Metal at the same price).
It might work for medium-sized business. I do not think it's a good option for freelancers.

Extremely disappointing and exhausting experience with FINOM !!!
Since the end of May, FINOM has been holding huge amount belongs to my company and has continuously failed to provide a proper resolution. What started as a temporary issue has turned into weeks of delays, excuses, and repeated promises that have never been fulfilled.
The most frustrating part is the way this case has been handled. Instead of having a dedicated representative, I have had to deal with multiple agents who repeatedly join the same conversation and provide identical scripted responses. Every time a new agent appears, I receive the same message: "please wait 48–72 hours", "please wait 2–5 business days", or "please wait 3–5 business days". These timeframes have been repeated over and over again for weeks, yet no meaningful progress has been made.
FINOM is not releasing my funds, nor are they providing a clear explanation of why €45,555 continues to be withheld. Rather than offering transparency, accountability, or a realistic timeline, they continue to ask me to wait while giving the same generic responses.
This situation has had a serious impact on both my business and my personal life. As a business owner, having such a significant amount of money withheld for this length of time has created enormous financial pressure and uncertainty. It has also taken a heavy toll on my health and mental well-being. The constant stress, anxiety, frustration, and sleepless nights caused by this situation have become overwhelming.
I understand that financial institutions may need to conduct reviews or compliance checks. However, keeping a customer's funds for such an extended period while repeatedly providing the same explanations and refusing to give a clear resolution is completely unacceptable.
At this point, I have lost confidence in FINOM's ability to handle customer funds responsibly or communicate honestly with its customers. Based on my experience, I do NOT recommend FINOM to other business owners and strongly advise anyone considering their services to carefully evaluate the risks before entrusting them with significant amounts of money.
