We stayed a week in Filey in a ground floor apartment. Booking was simple with excellent communication throughout.
The apartment was right in the centre of Filey with everything a short walk away.
The apartment was modern clean and well equipped , we had an allocated parking space at the rear of the building.
Enjoyed staying at Belle apartments and will be returning.

Great location in Pwllheli, close to the beach, lovely apartment in a quiet location with private parking. Apartment itself is nicely decorated & with all the facilities you would require for an extended stay. Walking distance to the centre with a few nice restaurants/pubs serving good food. Pet friendly too which was a must for us. Fantastic Vet close by if your pet needs a health check prior to travelling abroad.. would highly recommend & would stay again.

Such a lovely place. Nothing has been missed in providing everything you need for a perfect stay and very central location. You couldn't ask for more.

The property itself was very comfortable and well furnished. Ideal location overlooking Market Place in Ripon

Private parking was also a bonus

We had such a lovely stay at the house . It’s very well equipped and decorated to a high standard.
Location is perfect and would definitely stay and and recommend it . Dogs are welcome which our golden retriever Hudson loved.

I want to warn holiday let owners about this company. Their surface is very professional, but underneath is a cesspit of underhandedness and dishonesty. Their housekeepers are terrible, stealing things or as they put it, "not returning" things. They defend these housekeepers. Their assurances mean nothing. I was once assured that Julia Chapman was going to meet my housekeeper and take the keys and linen off of her for her last changeover, and in the end, not only did the housekeeper not turn up at all for the last changeover, the linen was dropped off to the*current guests* by the housekeeper's dad (yes, really, and he didn't work for the company), assuring me the keys were thrown in the linen bag- and they were never found.

Hayley Mason is the ultimate two faced specialist. I was taken in by her at first, but the minute I started to question things like my linen hire company not receiving their own linen for months she went stony quiet. Skilled in her ability to minimise very serious things , and invested in defending her "friend" as it turned out the housekeeper was.

I have never quite had any experience with a professional company with the level of base interest as I had with Finest Retreats. My advice? Don't go near them.

Another important thing to note is they contract you to honour all bookings made before your contract ends, and will take commission and a full yearly service fee regardless of when it ends for that year, but once the contract ends they refuse to provide any service or assistance to the people they booked through their company for that year - whilst still taking commission and fees. Basically after your contract ends you are tied to honour their bookings even though you receive none of the contracted guarantees, and have to deal with any issues at your own expense, whilst still paying them.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Glamping Site (with Rescoria Retreats, Poldark).
The tent was comfortable and, even though there was no electricity, there were romantic battery lights on a string, a chandelier with battery candles, and a handy torch.
A barbeque was provided, with wood, around which we were able to cook whilst viewing the stunning sunset.
Each tent had it's own, private toilet with adjoining shower room.
The owners visited the site every day, and were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Location was perfect with sea views of Widemouth Bay. It felt secluded and private. They called the property Manderley. Everything very clean and up to date. Helpful in supplying our request for a sun umbrella. Great access to coastal walks and good restaurants. Beach five minutes away.

We stayed at Avalon in Downderry, Cornwall booked through Finest Retreats and the whole booking process, communication with the owner and company, arrival, stay and departure was excellent and seamless. The home was spotless and was actually better than the photos which we thought were amazing anyway!! It was a beautiful home to stay in and a great company to deal with.

Before we confirmed our booking, Finest Retreats couldn’t have been more helpful. However, when we reported problems, even though most of the people we dealt with continued to be pleasant, little was resolved while we were there.
Not much seemed to have been checked before our visit – bathroom infested with ants, cobwebs in rooms grimy and dusty, oven with caked-on grease and burnt food, dishwasher not working, waste disposal unit not working and (long term) leak under sink.
Some electrical equipment recorded the last safety testing as being in 2019, and while we were there the main fuse for the lodge tripped. Power was restored while we were out but there was no explanation for the failure or reassurance the system had been made safe.
As problems arose we reported them and afterwards I wrote but, so far, there has been no response to my emails so we may be going to court. I'll try to keep you posted.
I could go on, but you’ll get the idea of the quality and care of monitoring by Finest Retreats and we won't be booking through them again.
Oasis 41, in Fritton, where we stayed, was also advertised elsewhere but, following our report, it seems have been withdrawn from at least one other website but still features with Finest Retreats!

Excellent stay at Old Salt Mill in Whitby ,clean and comfortable this apartment has everything you need . The little touches of fresh milk and biscuits when you arrive is so thoughtful. It’s was like home from home with everything you need . The beds were soooo comfortable! . Great location, close to everything. Wouldn’t hesitate booking this apartment again .

Stayed in Wherwell, Hampshire in a lovely bottom floor flat. Excellent location and clean property. Easy access with the key lock box.

Our recent stay was an exceptional one from start to finish. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, comfortable, modern and clean. Every detail from bedding to towels felt luxurious.

Holiday home in Filey was nice, clean and comfy with all essentials supplied. Price reasonable and booking / communication all went smoothly. Me & mum had a lovely holiday.

We stayed in Brighton in a lovely house, great experience! Customer service was very quick to answer and adapt something in the booking details (thanks Maddie!) and all communication went smoothly. Would book again!

Everything was perfect and exactly as advertised. A warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities excellent. The children had a great time in the pool and the barn. Definitely recommend.

Quality of accommodation was exceptional. Easy to make contact with staff. Totally secure method of entry. Secure parking place for each flat. Central to beach and hospitality.

Lovely simple, characterful place with everything you could need in a beautiful area. Really good price for the standard and facilities. And check in was super clear, simple and quick. Just be aware about the region of Lymes generally- while distances look close on the map a lot of the roads are steep and without pavements, so getting around can be a bit trickier than you might guess if you don’t have a car, unless you are fit and love to walk!

I've rated the accommodation I booked through ABnB as it was OK but Finest Retreats asked me to review them on here. No mention of the private feedback I left on things that could be improved at the accommodation.

After making the booking they kept sending me links to another site through ABnB's message service which just looked scammy so I told them to send me the information directly, which they just failed to do despite repeated reminders. Don't forget ABnB tells you not to leave the messaging service to avoid scams.

I left feedback on ABnB after my stay and then I got an email asking for another review on TP, but I pointed out I hadn't received a review as a guest. After a couple of reminders it just seemed like they were too lazy to do that so now they've got the review they asked for. Wasn't aware there was a middle man when booking the accommodation.

I would avoid booking through FR again if I was aware they were involved.

Stayed with friends at "Sussex House" and everyone enjoyed the experience and stay. Very comfortable and excellent location. The property was very well equipped with everything you needed supplied. I needed to get in touch with "Finest Retreats" on a few occasions regarding queries with my booking and was dealt with by "Evie", "Amy" and "Danielle" in a prompt, polite and professional manner and quickly dealt with my queries. I would recommend both this property and "Finest Retreats" as a company.
