Poor customer service.…

I bought a pair of walking boots ln March and after using them 4 or 5 times one of the lace holders pulled out of the fabric while lacing them up. I returned them with a covering letter requesting a full refund. The only response was a refund of the purchase price minus the postage costs both ways. No other contact no apology nothing.I won't be buying anything el

Have purchased a few items from fife…

Have purchased a few items from fife country over the years and they always come with the same good quality, long lasting and are always packed well and dispatched quickly. Will definitely buy from you again.Thankyou.

Great quality

First purchase from this company a Fleece jacket. Although there was a slight delay in shipping I have now received the item. I can only say that the quality is second to none and the price was unbelievable. I will be back for more items in the future.

Money not refunded 7 days in.

I paid £34 for a hoggs of fife shirt that was in stock, I received a confirmation email only to find that later in the day I received another email apologising and stating the item is out of stock. But after several emails and despite being assured otherwise I still have not received my money back and am disappointed with Fife country to say the least.7 days and still waiting.

My Dad, retired Army Col, introduced me to this reliable company, and since then I have relied on many of their items clothing through my own service and I will continue my purchasing journey for as long as they exist, particularly like their jackets as my account will attest to

Quality, Value , helpfulness , long lasting .

The moment you see Fife Country on the label . You know that you are getting quality and value for money . You get what you pay for . Something that will last you and you know will fit first time and you can feel the quality .
Their service is excellent and their agents are polite and very helpful. I would recommend them to those who appreciate value for money.

These people keep sending me promo material despite my asking them to remove me from their database. I have never dealt with them so could never have given consent to contact me. I've written to them and they ignore me.

An honourable and honest company to buy from.…

Bought a pair of walking boots just under a year ago, so I got in touch with "Fife" to order another pair, as they were so good and extremely comfortable. I was inquisitive to work out how many miles I had walked in them, as I do a lot of walking. I asked the lady when I bought them, thinking I had them well over a year. The lady asked if I had a problem with them and I said not really, but I have just got a split in the boots sole, which was letting some water I was utterly amazed when she told me that they were still under guarantee.and that they would sent to me a new pair. To honour there honesty I bought a new pair as well.
It is very rare, these days, for companies to be as honourable as this.
I will always remember this and buy from them, when I want some outdoors to wear.

Appalling Service

I was promised that if the shoes I purchased did not meet my requirements I would be refunded. I tried the shoes on in the house and they were too heavy . So I returned the shoes in the original package two weeks ago
Today I received them back No explanation. So I rang Customer Services who told me I should have received a letter explaining that the shoes were not in the original condition. There was no letter and the shoes are as good as new
On the telephone there was noone to discuss my complaint but when I bought the shoes the sales person was quite emphatic that I would be refunded if the shoes were not satisfactory
I have to say that the guarantee from the Company is worthless and I wouldn't encourage anyone to buy goods from Fife if the goods purchased are not up to scratch.

Customer Services: Poor Communication and Attitude

I own a number of items from FC, typically great quality and service. Historically I have been happy to praise and promote the company . Not sure what has happened in 2026 though! My elderly Mum bought me x2 shirts as a Xmas present - sadly the same two shirts she had ordered before. I like the shirts, but don't need 4 ! On 7.1.26 , I rang Customer Services who on this call were helpful and said they would do an exchange, but asked me to email all my details, so they could confirm the return to me. I clearly requested they only ring me on this matter, despite my Mum knowing what I was doing. 7.1.26 I sent the email to FC and a return. I had a signature and photo of product receipt in their premises 12.1.26 (snow delayed). Rang 12th to check they definitely had it. He wasn't sure but I was told it would be processed probably by Friday 16th. Heard nothing, so rang 16th, was told probably I would hear by 19th. I did not. So rang late afternoon 19th, was told it would probably be dealt with by the 23rd. Heard nothing. Rang again 23rd, to be told the return had been received and they had tried to ring my mother, 16.1.23 but there was no answer - so they just left it! (So why wasn't I told this when I rang on the 19th?). No call to me as agreed 7.1.26! The lady on the phone said she could not find any email from 7.1.26 ! I did say this whole matter was irregular and unusual for FC and could I speak to someone to better understand how this had happened . Her reply was " no, we don't do that"! I was staggered by this. Her manner was blunt and disinterested. Perception is everything. I asked if there was a manager I could speak to and was told "no". That was it. Incredible. I have actually received my replacement but this experience has left me doubting the faith I once had in Fife Country. Standards have dropped significantly towards customers and service. I was left feeling utterly dejected. Not good at all. Sorry to say FC, your behaviour, falls way short of the business you purport to be and advertise eg. "we take pride in both the quality of product which we offer, and in the service that we provide. We are always here to help, and this strong relationship that we have with our customers also means that we get welcome feedback on all aspects of our products and services" I would hope FC have the courage to accept this negative feedback and act to improve standards. If not customers will silently migrate.

Gillet and moleskins

I have had a few items from Fife and have found the quality excellent. Ordering , delivery and customer service is great. Wouldn't hesitate to buy more.

Recent poor experience on back of previously good experience

Have previously had good experience with this company with good quality items and a responsive customer service team over the phone (unfortunately website often seems to have problems which team say cannot be resolved).

Have recently however bought items for seasonal gifts and a Thurso jacket has a hole at seam and a second hole in the sleeve body which I did not notice until the recipient tried on which is clearly disappointing and embarrassing. Timely response from customer services by email but say they will only be able to advise on whether they will send replacement once they have "inspected" item, despite good quality photos being sent. In my mind they should have "inspected" the garment before dispatching it! Will wait and see if they will replace but as things stand a disappointing recent experience.

Update a month later: Contacted Customer Services again and prompt response to email but "as yet our warehouse has not processed the returned item".

Hard wearing Comfortable waistcoat.

I made the order on the 11.12.25, for a waistcoat in real leather. I was told to expect delivery in 5 to7 working days. It arrived in 3. Fantastic, I opened the well packed parcel, and WOW , the waistcoat is brilliant, better than in the picture, all the double stitching is so neat and looks like it's been made with care,the lining is good quality cotton. With 4 pockets secured by poppers, poppers also securing the front with a full length zipper. It is so comfortable to wear , I only wish I purchased it sooner. Highly Recommended .
