Very happy with the whole process. Easy to book. Really good communication all the day about progress and pleased with the result. Bike rides really well and I wasn’t expecting to have it cleaned, so that was a bonus.

Super helpful from the moment I walked in the door to enquire about a bike service (for a bike which had sat in the basement unused for 4 years), to the easy online booking of a no-commitment estimate, to approving a quote and then collecting the bike - all within a week! Seamless, transparent on cost and efficient. Would highly recommend.
Good bunch of guys, who serviced my bike, fixed a failed bottom bracket, and offered some advice. Friendly, knowledgeable and seem like genuinely decent mechanics. I'll definitely use these guys again.
The guys who run the shop are friendly and very accommodating managing getting my bike for the exact day I could collect it.

Very disappointing - I appreciate you had to order parts and they took a while to arrive but I had to keep chasing you for info, updates. I think that’s your job. I’m paying for service all round not just service of my bike. When I collected the bike, the basket hadn’t been fitted to the front of the bike as requested and indeed included in the quote. A crate had been fitted to the back of my bike. Not my crate?! It may seem like a minor thing but completely overlooked and forgotten. I didn’t have time to wait for someone to attach it. Yes the price was then reduced but you know what I’d have liked the work to be done as I requested. Bike feels okay but not brilliant, there’s lots of squeaking, what that about?
Definitely very poor, very disappointing and not inexpensive. Maybe faff-free means lack of attention? I’m not 100% sure at all that the bike is in good working condition and order.
I booked over a week ahead of time and turned up as the Putney shop opened at 9am. I had booked a £99 service of my Trek FX6 and was told I would be kept informed by text of progress. By 5pm I received not a single message and went to find out
why. Basically they hadn’t started my job and claimed turning up at 9am is no guarantee of anything - something that isn’t on their website and wasn’t explained when it visited the shop before booking. Regardless an update would be courteous so as to avoid my visiting again. Most embarrassing was when the senior guy tried to prove to me that texts were sent to me only for me to explain that the messages he showed me weren’t for my bike. He then tried to find my bike in his system and erm… he couldn’t. Sums it up! What annoyed me was the casual offhand way I was treated as if I was an idiot that didn’t understand their system. A wasted day and not impressed. I asked for my bike back and the guys didn’t even realise I would look elsewhere next time - such arrogance
Really great service. Went out of their way to source the parts needed for my repair. Pretty good value price wise too, but more importantly knowledgeable staff.
Collected and dropped off when they said they would. Good communication and bike riding well.
Fettle have been excellent repairing my Whirlwind e-bike. It's been troublesome but they've sorted it happily each time. Glad they're nearby!
Fantastic service from Fettle Putney. Booked a full service plus collection for an old Pashley with brake and gear problems. The process from booking to return of the bike was amazingly smooth. Everything is handled through the Fettle app including the quote and payment and I was sent a tracking link for collection and delivery. Perfectly reasonable price for the service and the bike is running the best it had in years. Will definitely use them again.
