Now scottishboilercare.co.uk

This company is now scottishboilercare.co.uk and are a terrible company to deal with. They couldn't fix my dad's boiler, so he cancelled the cover only to be hit with a £124 cancellation fee. Avoid at all costs.

Awful.

I have just received an invitation to renew my former maintenance contract. Since they vanished from contact 2 years ago and still owe me two years service on the last contract there is zero chance of me accepting this invitation.

My boiler is now maintained by a family business in Livingston who at least answer phone calls.

Fep and Scottish Boiler care ETC

As mentioned by others FEP boiler contract work was transferred to HSP Gas Limited.

Info from Sunday post Feb 2017 Andrew Picken:-

‘’Our probe has also established work has been transferred from FEP to another firm set up in Mr Craig Bonnyman’s name.
The customer base was bought by Bonnyman’s new firm, HSP Gas Limited, which trades as Home Service Plan.
From spring, directors like Bonnyman rather than companies will be hit with fines of up to £500,000 to end the practice of firms going under to avoid fines – then opening up again under a new name'
According to records at Companies House, he used a London-based pre-pack company formation agent to set up HSP Gas Limited, of which he is sole director, on December 20 last year – 13 days after the tribunal ruling and a week before FEP went under.
A heating and boiler breakdown cover called HSP states in its small print that “Home Service Plan is a trading style of HSP Gas Limited” and the website was registered by another of Mr Bonnyman’s firms’’. (end of Sunday Post article)

HSP, Scottish Boiler care?, BOILER CARE (SCO) LTD, etc etc Please contact The Sunday Post, they may be interested in doing a follow up.

If you search Companies House you will find lots of info naming Craig Bonnyman and Alan Bonnyman ( former Director of Fepheatcare Ltd)

Awful company

Awful company, they have left my elderly mother without heating for over a 4 weeks. Kept promising that an engineer would be arriving and yet they never turn up. What an appalling way to treat a pensioner. Do not use this company at any cost unless you want ripped off as they'll take your money for an annual service plan and provide you with no service. I'm reporting them to trading standands. They were FEP, keep changing their name, now known as Scottish Boiler Care owned by Alan Bonnyman - read about him, he's a real 'charmer'.

Avoid this company at all costs!

Avoid this company at all costs!
Initial 5 year service plan was complementary with a full boiler and heating system installation, but have fought with them every year since then re annual service. Company argue every year that our contract has expired, send us letters to promote new service plans etc. Left our 70 year old mother with no heating for a week. Had to phone British Gas who came out that day. Awful customer service, we can't warn you enough!

Home Service Plan central heating maintenance company

Now Home Service Plan 0808 2803053
Avoid at all costs.
I have been waiting 3 months for 2 radiator valves, said they would call me when they came in. Did they No. That's probably about 10 times they have said that. Always fobbed off. Seems like they have no interest once they have your money. Would give NO stars if I could. Could have bought valves from Screwfix in 5 minutes.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Have a maintenance contract with them. Boiler is leaking and they said would get the part ordered. We've been calling them for weeks and always promise to call back but no-one bothers.
Bunch of conmen.

Now called Home Services Plan Limited but even worse service

Now called Home Services Plan Limited. Looks like it is owned by the same person as FEP (which went bust in 2017), but service is worse now.
Now been without heating for over a week. With no prospect of heating being fixed until next week at the earliest. Parts for my boiler can be sourced on the internet with next day delivery so there is no excuse for the delay. I've called their reception several times and they promised to get someone to phone back, but the requests have been ignored.

Take your money and provide NO service Whatsoever

I had a maintenance agreement with these lying thieves and had a problem with my boiler. Had to ring up repeatedly and await a 'callback' for an engineer, this happened SIX times and they have never once bothered to get back in touch with me. Once they have your money they could not give a crap about you or your boiler. Go to one of the bigger nationals at least they have engineers rather than 3 admin staff who just fob you off

Their 'service' borders on a SCAM
