My second month I did not receive my patch or coin. I received a message that shipments were delayed, but didn’t hear anything more about my order. My third shipment arrived and the patch and coin were as expected. I wish I had the opportunity to receive the missed order.

*** Update: I got a one sentence reply when I reached out to CS as suggested by their reply. “Sorry, February has been completed.” No sorry, no nothing! Their CS either is too inexperienced, they don’t care or they are too busy. I’m not sure, but I’m cancelling my membership! As a 15 year career firefighter, I don’t think this company truly represents the industry. Sorry FFCC.

Update #3: Stephanie with FDCC wrote me a very lengthy apology for the CS issue. I was offered a free month and I reinstated my membership. I wish the original CS rep could have handled this, but at least it’s handled. FYI, for anyone signing up for this service after about the 12th of the month, as I was told, the new membership gets credit for the following month. That is where the confusion started. Even though I signed up for a VIP membership, extra patch and coin, it didn’t officially start until the next month. Confusing and I hope they change this in the future.

I like the product. I signed up for the VIP level which they cancelled. When it came back I signed up again and it got cancelled. I contacted support and they were virtually no help.

Everything about the club is awesome. But the ONLY issue I have had is an issue with support. I emailed and waited over a week for a reply and was around 3 weeks before the issue was resolved. But the issue of me not getting one of the items I ordered was resolved and the item was amazing and I’m glad I got it. But over all the club delivers a great product/collection. Even with my issue with support I still recommend this to everyone at the fire house and other firefighters I meet.

Being a retired firefighter with 30 years on the job, the FD collectors club has come into my life at I good time. It fills a whole that I had not having the comrade that I had being a part of the fire service.

I love that we are starting to get a background of the fire departments that we are receiving coins and patches.
I wished that even if it cost like $10 dollars more, we could get two of the same challenge coins. That way we can display them with pride showing both sides.

There are a few reasons that makes FD Collectors so great. The most important reason is that it is implemented and ease to navigate the website. You can check status of an order, place add-ons to your order. Check payment methods and other things. The next important thing ( at least to me ) is the quality of the products. The patches and coins are of the best quality, ready to be displayed in our collection. You can honestly see the pride that goes into these patches and coins. Which in turn makes it all the better to see when they get to your door step. Plus on a side note the last patch coin from October’s collection was a great choice for the month of October ( a reportedly haunted firehouse ). I really couldn’t be happier with the service.

I would like to see an informational card sharing information about the department the patches represent, such as the location of the station a brief history and number of personnel and apparatus. I feel this would make the patches more personal. If someone were to ask me about the origins of a patch now I wouldn’t be very helpful. An informational card would change that!

Several months ago I received an email about a vip section of the club but no other information was sent. And I have alot of fdny coins and patches. I get you start somewhere. Just here recently has it been different departments. Make it more diverse in departments from different areas across the usa.

Lot of New York coins if you like getting a lot from fdny and areas around it’s great wish they would get other states more involved.

There has been a good variety of coins and patches from across the country. I like the selection of coins so far. They are very colorful and unique and add to my collection and are conversation starters.

The combination of the coin and patch from a different department each month makes collecting a joy! Also, the correspondence each month, in regards to my account, is exemplary. Knowing when my items are shipped each month or knowing if there is a delay in shipping is tremendous customer service.
