I feel I have had terrible aftercare…

I feel I have had terrible aftercare from this company. I purchased and had installed by OWS some Fire rated French doors into a flat 18 months ago At a cost in excess of £6,000 into a newbuild development. The property was not in use for a while and unfortunately, I don’t live near the development and did not check things until recently when I found the doors had dropped such that one door wouldn’t even open. I raised this with OWS and was advised someone would be in touch from the team that deals with this. I heard nothing back so chased this up and was again told the message would be passed to the team. A couple of days later I again chased up things and was advised that there is only a years guarantee on the issue and that to get someone to attend and adjust the doors would cost £570. I queried if this was really the cost to adjust the doors and was told they charge for a full days work. In fact it took 10 minutes for a local engineer to adjust the doors at a fraction of the cost. I’m sure the doors themselves are a good product but a real shame to be so badly let down with the aftercare. I even undersstand that as technically out of the guarantee a charge may be made, but not a full days work for a 10 minute job.
