For years we endured a poor, self satisfied and expensive service from BT. The contrast with Fastr broadband’s outstanding service, which has transformed our speeds, couldn’t be greater. The installation team were professional and good natured despite working in a cramped space and special thanks must go to the engineers who rectified an unexpected fault for several hours late into the night, dark and rain to ensure we got back our connection. Commendation is also due to Pete Evans who, uniquely, responds to queries immediately and provides expeditious advice and support. This company seems to be doing more than its fair share to increase productivity in York and deserves to do well.

Fastr Broadband provided a very quick, personal service to get our new broadband up and running. The speed is very fast, price is very competitive and service appears to be very reliable. They have been easy to contact and very responsive. Several other households in our street also signed up. You get real, (local) people to talk to, not chatbots or soul destroying call centres.
I have recently had an additional property connected with their service - one in a very central location where I did not think I would be able to get anything better than BT's low speed connection. I was delighted when I realised Fastr served this location too. The guys came out super promptly and I was connected literally about 2 days later. The engineers were very personable and professional.
I hope their business goes from strength to strength.

Fast installation alot more stable than mega corporations and alot faster too if we've had an issue its been sorted straight away and the price is good too

This internet company is the best that I have ever dealt with. It is unbelievably fast broadband and very cheap. After years of having slow internet, this has been a game changer. Unlike other providers, this company gives a very unique one to one service. If there any questions, these are answered very quickly without going through huuuuge call centres and phone options. The folk fitting the devices and wires are really good natured and great to work with. I can highly recommend.

Physical fibre in York is rare, and these guys are doing a great job making it available!

From the first conversation with Pete I was immediately listened to and they managed to install two days after. The team were really quick and tidy and have even impressed my landlord with how neat the installation is!

We are a hotel in the city centre, and struggled for years with very slow WIFI. Last year was especially difficult with approx 20-30 complaints each day about guest WIFI. Connection was poor and download speed non existent. Guests could not book tickets, download flight boarding passes, catch up on work or watch the smart TV's. Fastr broadband changed our lives! It does what it says on the tin....it goes Fastr! The team have not had one complaint since we installed Fastr, with 78 bedrooms and 15 apartments we accommodate upwards of 120 guests a night who all want to be on the internet for one reason or another. Our WIFI now works and everyone is happy!

After suffering poor business broadband for years, the arrival of FastrBroadband from UK Fibre Networks was extremely welcome. Despite many issues faced with the establishment of the infrastructure, UKFN kept us well informed and involved. Their support through the initial teething and bedding in issues was superb. Since then the service has been rock solid and has proved to be a significant business enabler.
Particular recognition to Pete Evans who personally oversaw the entire installation and provided rapid support when required. Highly recommended.

They are reliable and consistent, and they have a very responsive team when needed (although we have almost never needed them, which is great!). I highly recommend them.

After years of horrendous internet speeds with the old copper Openreach lines we thankfully have ultrafast fibre supplied by Fastr (previously UK Fibre Networks). It's been such a relief and makes our day to day running of the business easier, faster and less stressful. Previously we had our connection dropping out entirely when doing something as simple as uploading a picture from a phone to our online cloud - none of that now!

There were a couple of issues very early on, but the network was totally brand new, and once Fastr had got that ironed out we've had nothing but fast speeds and a very stable connection and that's been a blessed relief!

We have been using Fastr since they first launched in York. We previously had an frustratingly unreliable internet connection (which was typical for the centre of York) - with the introduction of Fastr’s fibre network) we have been able to upgrade all of our systems and bring the gallery into the modern age. It has revolutionised the way we are able to do business.
We were also struggling to accept payments on the Christmas Market - Pete at Fastr went above and beyond to find a solution for us which has since benefitted all retailers at the markets. Thank you Fastr - amazing service at an incredible price.

I have been using fastr Broadband at my office since June 2023 and they are absolutely brilliant. Our office is in the centre of York and we use internet for everything including phones. Before discovering Fastr Broadband, we had to have 2 separate connections but we were still having problems and it was really slow. Since having Fastr Broadband installed, we have had no problems at all and the internet is really fast and we have saved money as there was no need for 2 connections.

I then moved house into the centre of York and got the residential Fastr Broadband which again has been absolutley brilliant (currently running at 920 mbps as I type)

The installation for both was really straightforward with a really lovely team who just come and sort everything out. When I have had a couple of issues (mainly due to me being totally IT illiterate) there has always been someone to call who I can speak to straight away and they have helped me with whatever issue it was quickly.

I would recommend Fastr Broadband to anyone
