Very professional experience with FA removals.

No drama, removal and transfer to the new property done on time and as planned!

I had a very good experience with FA Removals. Turned up on time, worked extremely hard and the girls in the office were fantastic !! I only knocked off a point as the van was too small despite the assessor visiting my property twice.

Weighing up the experience I would not use this company again,
Where they were great was they sent round a really nice engaging guy who gives you lots of reassurance that this company is professional and will help with a stress-free move... and Brie is very communicative and sends the boxes etc pre the move.
However the day of the move was very stressful, they had not sized up my move appropriately and sent a Luton van, which was not big enough at all, I ended up filling three additional cars with my possessions... (Please note I actually had one less mattress then I had been quoted to move so it would have been four cars really).
Further once we arrived at the new property the timer started and they attempted to charge me £300 for 1hr and 15 minutes of waiting time, which of course I had no control over.
I did not pay a penny more as I argued that they would have had to of made several trips back and forth if I did not have three cars available. A lot of arguing and frustration on what was already a stressful day.
The removal men were ok, they were caught in the middle and did their best but there were 4 extra hands helping them.

Overall I would have paid more to another company and have less stress.

They made a very stressful time, a lot less so! From the start with their easy and professional communications we felt comfortable and in safe hands. We moved from a first floor flat to a two story house and all along the 4 removal guys were hard working, amiable (with 800 books in boxes having to go up two flights of stairs!) and practical. We had 5 very awkward, heavy and large pieces of furniture and they managed to move everything in without a scratch! The also dissembled a large mirror fronted double wardrobe with internal sliding draws and reassembled it perfectly (and lots of patience!)… they worked from 09:00-18:15 and not once did I hear a grumble or a whinge. Yup. Very grateful for making our lives a lot less stressful!

Very good experience. We booked packing and removals and as well as disposals and even a storage unit pickup. The boys kept going on a couple of very long days. Never complained and always made sure we were happy

We used FA Removals to move from London to Milton Keynes and they were absolutely fantastic. Harry came to survey the house and the office sent us a quote same day as we only had a week before our move.

We ended up booking the packing as we were short on time and my husband and I both work. We dealt with Brie from the office and she was fantastic. Very attentive, patient and calming.

The 2 men that packed, Jj and John were first class and the team that done the removal were excellent. Great service all round. Would highly recommend

Avoid if possible.

I expect one of the two main representatives of FA Removals to comment on my review. They have done this for other bad reviews and always disputed every single bit of it. I leave it up to you to believe who is right of course. In my experience however it is quite clear: if things go badly, they will not help you and it's a total disaster. This is very consistent with other reviews here. So I strongly suggest not to risk anything while moving house and just go with another service. Ideally one that is member of The Revmovals Ombudsman to allow you some protection.

Here my experience:

We moved into a flat and then into our new house. When moving to the flat first, we booked them for sufficient time over 2 days as advised by the company. Half of our stuff went to the new flat, the other half went to storage. However, the job they had on the 1st day ran over so they did not make it. They then were late on the 2nd day as well (traffic.....).

This predictably ended up in a total disaster with all being late, things needed to get rushed and few items that were broken. The guys moving also had insufficient tools to move our bed. I had to get someone in the next day (for £200) to take the bed over to the new flat.

A main person called me in the evening - while the job was not yet finished - and told me i have to transfer all the money now, reminding me in no uncertain terms that i would better do that as i will have things in their storage - a gentle reminder that i should better do as they tell....

At least: FA removal subsequently re-imbursed the broken items.

Before the 2nd move i wanted to go and get something out of storage. In contradiction with the storage agreement however this was not easily possible.

On the day of the 2nd move, all went smooth - i.e. all boxes arrived in our new house (from our flat and the storage).

However, there was a bad surprise waiting for us: once we started to open up the boxes from storage we noticed that dozens of items were totally broken. Also, the guys managed to bring a box out of storage that did not belong to us (this was picked up later).

I tried for months now to get into contact with the main persons to claim insurance for the items broken. They both sent me around the houses (one was sick or off apparently, the other one not in charge, then the first one not in charge, the other one off etc. etc.). I sent pictures and videos with the daamage. However, they simply stopped responding and no re-imbursement was done.

The guys were great and hard working, moving us across the country with little hassle and problems. Thanks very much!

They were 1st class from the original phone call to the removal. Not only we're they the cheapest nothing was too much trouble for them.

I was a late afternoon slot, and even after these men where so tired, they where hard working, giving their all and so professional, from the minute they rocked up till the evening they left. Highly recommend their services

Really good service at a very competitive price. Accommodated me at quite short notice (10 days or so). I was impressed by the communication with the administrative staff (Gemma and Brie). Answered queries quickly and efficiently.
There was a couple hours of delay to the removal service turning up at my previous address which did make me nervous but Brie was frequently in contact with updates and put my mind at rest that everything will still be done at a high standard.
The two removal operatives were very quick but careful with my belongings. I haven’t found any damage to any furniture or belongings etc. Brie also followed up to make sure I was happy with the service.
Would recommend highly, especially as they were a lot cheaper than alternative providers and automatically included a level of insurance. Thank you!

Excellent service all round from FA Removals from the surveyor to the removal men. Would definitely recommend
