Amazing service!
Originally had to use an international card so check s had to occur (fine) and this was very quick too (over email). I then booked a second flight for a relative days later and they were even better, I called up and Alden was so patient and helped throughout the whole process, same good prices etc.

I had to book a quick trip and I was able to using Faregeek. It was a great price and I did not have any problems with my trip.

I paid by Visa who have their own verification process.
I called my bank as no payment was showing a few days after booking and eas told no charge had been attempted so they put me through to Visa who confirmed that no block was in place, no charge or verification had been attempted.
I contacted the site who told me they wantrd pictures of the front AND back of my card AND a picture of my passport/government issued ID.
If anyone else here is foolish enough to send this information then good luck having your identity stolen.
Visa themselves advised me not to give this information as it could easily lead to identity theft (I was speaking to visa as the company were talking to me via live chat) and they actually asked for the company's trading name and URL to be passed to their fraud department.
Be warned.
The service from the person I was speaking with (Luke) was also terrible only telling me things like "you can cover the card number except last 4 digits if you want" after I had mentioned I was on the phone to Visa, not before.
EDIT:
Further to your message below, please be very careful of your use of the word "proactive". I'd like to make your aware that your member of staff "Luke" did not mention that I was able to hude the first few digits of the card until I challenged him on how I could be defrauded (I did mention this in the original review if you had bothered to read it fully) and at no po9nt whatsoever did he mention that I could hide my CVV2 (last 3 digits on the back).
Perhaps this whole issue might have been avoided were your staff properly trained and providing the correct information?
Still no explanation as to why you need a picture of a persons card AND government issued photo ID...Visa has "verified by Visa" for a reason and Mastercard has "secure code".

I needed to phone up Faregeek because of a problem completing an online booking - reluctantly so, because often a company will tell you you can't fly for the price advertised on their website.
IHowever, I was very impressed by the Faregeek operative, who helped me resolve the problem and find an alternative flight for the same price with a better connection time than the one I had in mind.
When booking a flight I normally shop around, but next time I will try Faregeek first.

They confirmed the booking, then wrote back to ask for the same credit card and ID details that had been entered securely online. When I asked politely whether this was standard procedure and whether this was possibly a scam, they gave me one hour to confirm my details via a print & scan form. As I was not at work, this could not be done in the timeframe specified. They then tried calling me three times at midnight. When I called back they said they could offer me a new far, 50% more than the originally quoted fare. I declined and booked elsewhere. Terrible, inefficient, unsatisfying way to run a business.

A really big thank you to all the very patient and reassuring staff at the customer service call centre.
I recently booked a flight from London to Winnipeg. It was a last minute and 'impulsive' decision but honestly the best one!
Herman, spent over one hour to help me to take the right decision... to go to Winnipeg. He did not push for it but he was very reassuring all the time and I will never stop thinking more positive of him right now and ever.
After the booking, I read some negative reviews and I panicked a bit. I contacted repetitively the help desk over night and The other people at the help desk had been very supportive, litterally all night long ( the have 24 H help desk). They always answer my calls, literally every hour, and they promptly send me reassuring mails of confirmation of the booking and charges.
Flight with Delta was superb.
I really enjoyed Winnipeg and I managed to see Keanu!.

So I booked with Faregeek off of momondo.com because of cheap fares to Las Vegas from London. I then typed in Faregeek on google and started freaking out because everyone seemed to have had a bad experience with them re: not getting their tickets and them being cancelled.
I called Faregeek to ask about my ticket and was reassured by the rep that I would get my ticket as soon as my credit card was charged. The rep was really professional and patient so I have nothing to complain about their customer service.
As for the ticket, it was sent to me within 24 hours of my booking on Faregeek.
I think with every company there are always bad experiences and people mostly write about bad experiences rather than good.
Overall I am happy with the service I received.

Mr Aldo Atwood is an excellent travel consultant
I raised all of my concerns with Mr Aldo Atwood, the travel consultant who answered the phone. These concerns came from me reading the various negative reviews about the company. He carefully addressed each of the reviews and reassured me that by booking the flight over the phone, he could expedite the booking. The payment took seven hours to be taken from my card, and we corresponded by email during the delay and he stated how much longer it would take. The cash was finally taken from my account at 20.00 hrs, about seven hours after I made the booking. The e-ticket arrived immediately after that. Mr Atwood was still as work...I thanked him by email. Incidentally the price of the return flight from London to Houston was extremely competitive (£688).
