Harpreet at Fairstone financial

I have dealt with this company many times over the last decade so when Harpreet Rai at the Calgary NE branch called and said she can help my financial situation I was all for it. After weeks of providing information to her and signing documents allowing her to add money to my small personal loan for a home appraisal she was unreachable. I called many times and emailed her with no response. I finally escalated it to customer care. When I called the branch to get names for my complaint Harpreet intercepted the call and refused information "They know where we work" she said. I finally got ahold of her branch manager who said he was away and after giving all my information again he flat out said there's no way they could help. Harpreet lied repeatedly to me and added more money knowing it would not be approved. This location is a scam avoid at all costs. Update the branch manager Jorge decided he doesnt like my reviews so he called to threaten me so now I have escalated this to my MLA. Please avoid these scammers at all costs.

Clearly marked on their website it says it will not affect your credit score. Well, they are a group of liars because Equifax indicates it does.

My fairstone experience with Nick

Free willGreat customer service with Nick on Montreal road in Vanier.I had a problem with the online signing,so he told me to come in to the office to sign there.He then gave me a pamphlet 'Home&auto'by Fimc,which is fantastic.a free will for example.He also gave me themaximum loan allowed.I 'm so happy with Fairstone.

She was professional, responsive, and took the time to clearly explain all my options, making the process smooth and stress-free. My experience with Fairstone financing…

My experience with Fairstone financing was mostly smooth, but I was very disappointed by the insurance issue. The manager told me that if they were giving me a loan, I also had to do something for them, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. The clause clearly stated that the insurance was optional, but I was still pressured into taking it because I had urgent expenses and no real choice at the time. That part of the process left a very bad impression.

Well everything was great until they…

Well everything was great until they took 2 payments out one month. I called them, they said they needed a banj statement. I dont have time to run around fixing their problems. I sent them a phone screen shot. That included bank account number and showing the two payments taken out.

They told me it would take 7 days.
Right, levereging MY money.

Here we are 7 days later, still no refund.

Totally useless. Will never ever use their service again.

Thanks for the shit show.

Scam artists ripped me off and I ended up paying double for furniture with interest that is insane only after a month or so! I will never use them again!

Erica was great to deal with very…

Erica was great to deal with very helpful. Very quickly approved with no run around . My credit is fair and they helped me get a consolidation loan that got me 1 small managable payment bi-weekly instead 6 payments I couldnt keep with . Very happy they could help me out
