This is a very good app because it allows you to use a debit card, not only to spend money with the bill credit as well instead of having to buy a whole credit card to build it!

Excellent response time

Have been a member since 2021. Extra has helped me achieve a better credit score and has helped me understand and manage my finances better! I was able to get rewarded for using my Extra card and redeem a lot of great items like beats headphones and gift cards towards airline travel! I highly recommend Extra! Safe and secure, better than using your debit card.

Their customer service is amongst THE best in class. Significantly better than any of the banks I have. The one thing I’m really wishing is I hope they offer credit cards for their long time members to really help with credit. If this option is available I’m opening a card with them solely for the great experience I’ve had with them and especially their great CS

I have been using extra for over 3 years and it was the best choice i made for my credit amazing features and very good customer support when you run into a problem.

I've had Extra for 2 years and it has been a good experience so far for me. I definitely think that it has helped with improving my credit score (only with Equifax since TransUnion doesn't count it) which I'm happy with! I like that I gain points with purchases so that I can get products from their store. However, I do wish they did more frequent giveaways and had more store products.

I’ve been using Extra for two years now. I’m about to enter into my third year and I can honestly say it has been a godsend. In 2019 through 2022 I experienced back to back fraudulent activity. I had to close all my credit cards and go through a painstaking process of clearing my name. It was exhausting, infuriating and I was left with a credit score that was severely low and embarrassing. I’ve been working since I was 15 y/o, have a BFA, and now I own my own company but no matter how hard I worked my credit score barely made it to the Fair status. Finally I saw the adds on Instagram for Extra — a debit card that builds credit?!? It seemed like an illusion or some warped idea that went against everything I was taught about building credit. But I decided that I’d try it since credit cards weren’t an option for me while my name is still being cleared of all the fraudulent accounts. Within six months my credit improved, fast forward to November of last year and my credit score was good enough to be able to buy my car which was a huge milestone for me especially since it is essentially for my business to have a large vehicle to haul all the equipment and material I need for work. I highly recommend Extra for anyone who is looking to build their credit, whether it’s for personal use or business, like myself, it’s so easy to stay on top of your transactions. The concierge services is great, each customer service representative is professional, supportive, and proficient. The other perk I really love is the monthly PDF statements you can download. This makes it so simple to keep track of my expenses and send them to my business accountant. Highly recommend Extra who saw an opportunity to change the paradigm of build credit and who help good people that were victims of unfortunate situations build back their credit score. They really know how to take care of their customers. Thank you so much!

Without any credit hard enquiry this app was able to give me a credit line. It was very helpful in expanding my credit line and keep my cred utilization low. After a few months I was able to apply for other credit cards as well. The best part is that the credit line keeps on increasing as per your expenses and the total amount in your checkings account. This is such a nifty tool for students and someone who wants to build a credit history.

I really like this card. It aligns with your bank account so you don't spend more than you can afford and takes a few days to debit from your account
