You ever wonder why when your car is in an accident and the airbags never deployed and it still drives fine, yet they still want to deem your car a total loss?? Especially when you find a garage to do the work and do it at the state required 75% or less of the value of the car. Well let me fill you in on a little something. Insurance companies are not losing at all when your car is deemed a total loss. When that happens, they get to keep your car which is then parted out online. They sell the parts on line and get all the money back and then some for your car. I was told my car has a high salvage value. It still runs fine, you can't even tell it's been in an accident when you are driving it. A policy holder of Allstate's ran a red light and hit the front of my car. I received an e-mail from Allstate claims stating if I could find a garage to do the repairs at 75% or less of the value of the car, they would pay the repair. I did that and they will not honor what they said. They are dishonest and good luck getting a return call from them. They left my car sitting at the garage for almost a month. Led me to believe they were going to fix it then told me they were not. I wish someone would look more in to this. Don't seem like it should be allowed.

You sent your collection agency after me for insurance that was cancelled at the end of November 2025. You were notified that all home, auto, umbrella, and liability policies would be cancelled at that time. Not my problem. I called them and faxed them, and their collection agency with the declaration of coverage from my new company. I highly suspect this is a fraud attempt. And no, I never filed a claim with them of any kind.

Dissatisfied ŵith this insurance company all state the claims adjuster was horrible unprofessional nasty . These insurance companies are nothing but rip off . The CEO makes profit off of it.

I give Allstate a one star for
Committing fraud! They have put a fraudulent charge on my credit because I cancelled my policy with them and my agent with Allstate he called me and told me that if I didn’t come up there and sign a paper he would pull the money from My bank for the next month of insurance which was like 400/500 even tho I called 3 days before the next payment and cancelled the insurance with Allstate! Allstate put a charge on my credit for 72$ for refusing to continue to keep my business with Allstate and their fraudulent behavior is a scam! Do not use Allstate it’s a fraudulent company that would blackmail me to continue using them for car insurance! So I was blackmailed and my credit has been damaged for this fraudulent charge from Allstate because I left them days before the policy would renew! Warning this can happen to you don’t use Allstate it’s insurance and the fact they put that false charge on my credit for canceling the insurance policy which I’m allowed to do! Proves this company will do whatever they want to, to anyone for
Cancellation of the insurance policy thru their company , which I have an absolute right to do and now I’m being damaged by their fraudulent charge on my credit for CAR INSURANCE THAT I CANCELED! Fraud fraud fraud

BEWARE OF 'RAVENOUS' ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY!
This company mailed me a check of $740.77(Seven hundred forty dollars and seventy-seven cents) dated 11/12/2024 in lieu of my laundry room rug they ruined and took out on 09/25/2024, then seven months later the same company jacked up the same amount to $2,324.39(Two thousand, three hundred twenty-four dollars and thirty-three cents) and dumpped my policy with them. What a trerrible, terrible, terrible company Allstate Insurance is!
It all started in September 2024, when I reported water damage in my laundry room to them - Allstate Insurance, my homeowner’s insurance carrier then. They scheduled an investigative tour for 10/07/2024 which was precisely a week from the incidented date. But prior to that day, as a matter of fact, later the same day I reported the damage, I received a phone call from a company that introduced themselve as a management team of Allstate Insurance, whose primary job was cleaning up the mess caused by the damage by curtailing it immediately at no cost to the customer before the arrival of the assessment team. They asked for permission to enter my property and it was granted to them. But to my surprise, I met an empty laundry room on getting home that night.
Allstate service people had carted away everything including my Washing Machine and Dryer without stopping the leakage with the promise of returning them as soon as the issue was resolved.
Now, Allstate Insurance company came for the scheduled assessment tour on 10/07/2024 and right away decided I had to fix the leak problem before they would carry out the assessment. A week later I called Allstate and informed them I had taken care of the leak and asked them to return my belongings. But little did I know that the war had just begun.
Allstate Insurance Company then insisted I must connect them to my Vendor before they would continue with the assessment. This was in addition to the fact that they hid the positive result of asbestos found on the property from the samples that were taken by their agent for the routine testing of this chemical. I got to know about this result through one of their many agents who called and informed me about it out of concern that I and my family still lived in that house, noting that Allstate should have moved us out of it immediately the result of this toxicity came out over three weeks then because that it was very dangerous to continue living there under that condition.
Anyway long story short, my vendor and Alllstate finally spoke on 10/20/2024. But Allstate never reached out to me about anything whatsoever despite my many phone calls and emails. However, finally on 11/03/2024 they answered me after my unrelenting continuous phone calls and emails asking them to return my Washing Machine, Dryer and others and rudely informed me they denied my claim.
I didn’t argue that with them at all. All I asked for was for Allstate Insurance to at least return my rug, washing machine, dryer and the other stuff they removed from my house. This became a very serious issue with them for another stretch of time before they sent the $740.77 check to replace the rug they took away. Allstate Insurance continued to unlawfully detain my washing machine, dryer and my other personal belongings from September 2024 till towards the end of the winter. I had most probably lost all but for the prompt intervention of the Rapid Response of Maryland Insurance Administration. The Allstate Insurance company got mad and retaliated by hiking the $740.77 to $2,324.39 and dropping my policy last August.
To this end, my fellow consumers do not fall for their big name. Allstate Insurance Company is ravenous, horrible and has no conscience at all! Be warned!

Dealership added paint insurance and wouldn’t remove from contract decided to keep it. Called about coverage and told it included hubcaps. Had paint splatters in wheel etc. went to dealership and customer service told them they checked into it and change their mind. Paid $1,500 for that. They also skipped out of Massachusetts and my family had to get other covered. You’re not in good hands with Allstate

They wanted to charged me 500$ for my truck
Clean record and 24 years driving
When the agent told me that I switched right away !
Paying with the new insurance company 230$ I still have my two rental with them
