An absolutely fantastic trek from start to finish! The organisation, food and accommodation at the camps were excellent, and the fruit and water breaks at the interim camps were a welcome touch (as some parts of the hike are difficult). Everything together made for a truly unforgettable experience.

A special mention goes to our guide Dennis, who was exceptional throughout - her knowledge of the trek, the surrounding nature, and the indigenous people added so much depth to the journey and made the whole experience even more special.

Highly recommend this trek to anyone considering it, and if you get the chance to have Dennis as your guide, even better!

The Ciudad Perdida trek was the highlight of my trip to Colombia! It was absolutely incredible! I loved everything about the tour: the trek itself (challenging but amazing!), the scenery, the historical aspect, the daily swims in waterfalls, and the food was delicious (with vegetarian options!).

We had great weather during the day, and it rained at night, my perfect white noise for a good night’s sleep! The dorms were also very clean.

Our guide Antonio and our translator Andrés did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable and patient. I learned so much about the history of Colombia and the Tayrona people.

I highly recommend doing this trek with Expotur!

Had an amazing time with tourguide Ariel 'Pollo', translator Sophia and the support staff. Everything was well organized, neat and everything else needed for a great experience. Food was delicious and nourishing to get us energized during the day. Enough brakes to swim and recharge. Ariel is very knowledgeable about everything and you can ask him anything about nature and culture of the area. 11/10

The trip was perfectly organized. Our guide, Diego took really good care of us. Justin, our translator was so professional and make the trip so much more enjoyable. And our chef Jainer made such delicious food and fed us so well we were not hungry once. Highly recommend!

It was an amazing tour! Diego (guide), Justin (translator) and Jainer (chef) were all so great! Extra special shout-out to Justin who was super connected to the group and ensured every person was having fun and engaged. A beautiful tour, with great leaders and learning, that was a once in a life time experience!

The best experience ever

I think its a great experience, nice and helpful guides and cooks. The food was good and absolutely enough. I liked the refreshes with fruits between the meals. Its a casul atmosphere. Of course things will repeat for guides year after year but they all try to keep on beeing in a good mood and adjusting to the group.
I also got good private exchanges and informations so beeing together it felt a kind of familiar during this trip. Me personally liked the 5th day path the most cause it was more jungle like and really nice waterfalls. Dennis tried her best even with a really small group left on the last day. Brayan and miguel did as well the first 4 days becore splitting the group (4/5 days journey)

This tour was truly one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had!! We had an amazing and divers group, we called ourselves “Campeches” (named after the farmers in the park). The nature and the lost city itself are ofcourse beautiful, it was really surreal. But what also made it an amazing experience was the organisation of expotur. Our guide Sixto was such a happy and helpful guide, he brought a smile on everyones faces. He is positive, knows a lot about the nature and the history of the lost city and loves to makes jokes. Our translator Alberto did a really good job at translating and had a good vibe with the group. Then we had Pepe, he was helping with the team. He didn’t speak any English, so I haven’t had a conservation with him, but gosh he was just always there for us. He brought us our food, gave us cookies and fruits and made sure everyone had enough to drink during the meals (together with Alberto and Sixto). The meals were prepared by our cook Orlando. I am a really picky eater, but everything tasted wonderful. The food was so good.

Even when some people got sick on the last day (please be careful and wash your hands everytime), these boys took such good care of us. I would really recommend this tour to everyone. It is a lifechanging experience 🫶🏻

The tour is well organized, sixto our guide sympathetic and knowledge one. I got badly sick last day of the trek, Sixto made sure that I will make it towards the end, offered options to ease my pain. Thank you so much for taking good care of us especially me because I was really sick. Wishing and praying for you and your family good health and success.

Our translator Alberto, such a good translator, calm and easy to speak with. He shared many stories to us and also his personal life which is really nice. I wish and pray for your success and good health.

And Pepe, he helped going down the slippery stairs of ciudad Perdida. I have slight knee pain and he saw that I was having a hard time and he proactively helped me. He doesn't say much but he observes very well, he looked after us so much, we called him our Front Man.

The guides and translator were very professional. They took care of the "slower" hikers, not pushing while others could hike on their own speed.

We had an absolutely great tour to Ciudad Perdida with Expotours. The guide (Daniel) and our translator (Alberto) were super nice and we had a great time! Also our group was the best one on the track, so highly recommend Expotours!

The Tour is perfectly organized. The Guides are local people, the huts and food/beverage were absolutly great (also: vegan and vegetarian options are possible!). Four unforgetable days in the ciudad perdida:)

Exceptional attention to detail:
Great and attentive staff, clean and quiet camps, wonderful fresh fruit stops along the trail to pick up some energy - and an amazing destination with the Ciudad Perdida.

An excellent and very supportive guide; everything is perfectly organized. All the traveler has to do is keep walking, enjoy the beauty around them, and not worry about a thing. This trek really does require good physical condition; however, you can cheat a little — by sending your backpack on a mule or covering the final part of the route by motorcycle
