Excellent Service

My husband ordered my phone 6 days ago and everything was straight forward from ordering to receiving. Very happy with the service and will definitely recommend this company to others. We received regular emails to update us on the status of our order and the phone was delivered as expected. No delays! No issues! Keep up your service! Will definitely order from here again.

Very poor service

I bought a Samsung phone Aug 2015, stopped working in March 2016. Expedite refused to reimburse or replace but insisted on repairing (with second hand parts!). I reluctantly returned my phone over 10 days ago, since then no communication, can't speak to anyone who knows anything and no phone...

I just thought I'll post an update - It is now 30 June 2016, and still no phone - working or not - back from Hong Kong. Only minimal communication from Expedite just to confirm that they have received my phone and that they will be in touch. Needless to say that I have had to buy a new phone but not from them this time.

Update - 21 August 2016 - still no phone and no response whatsoever from Expedite. Think twice before buying from this company - no matter how competitive they may be this is not much use if you don't have the goods you have paid for.

Update - 16 February 2017 - I never got my phone back! Stay away from them...

I ordered a nikon 35mm f1.8 lens. It was a good price. I ordered on the 28th April, received on the 2nd May,2016 just 5 days. When you take into account this was over the May day holiday superb service.I shall certainly order again from this company.

Don't listen to the negative feedback

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 from here on Saturday morning. The following Friday it was at my door. Full tracking available from the second email to tell me it was shipped and it arrived before I expected it. As for the product. AAA+++ . Could not ask for more . Exactly what I ordered. Full retail package along with UK charger included in the retail package. Will definitely order again . Thanks

Bought and refunded

I phoned expeditelectronics.com to check an item was instock after reading some of the other reviews. The guy of the phone was friendly and told me if the item shows up online and allows you to purchase it, it is in stock.

So I bought the item, a day later I got an email saying it wasn't in stock and won't be for 2/3 weeks and the automatically issued a refund. Refund reserved the next day.

So mixed feelings on this.

Fantastic and beyond expectations

I've just had delivery of my new Canon C100 camera, i'm so so excited.

Everything is fantastic, in original box with everything in order. Delivery was much faster than expected and the customer service was brilliant. Speaking to someone on the phone gave me plenty of confidance.

I will definatly be making another purchase from them, much cheaper than anywhere...and that's important when your spending just shy of £2000

Was wary at first but needn't have worried . . .

I was looking to buy a Sekonic L-398A light meter and stumbled across Expedite on Google.

What caught my eye was that the price was some £25 cheaper than the same meter in the UK. That the price also included VAT, postage and any possible import duties, seemed too good to be true.

After much trepidation and realising I was covered by PayPal buyer protection, I went ahead and bought it.

The order confirmation said 3-7 WORKING days for delivery, so I patiently waited (after all that's not really that long).

I needn't have worried at all, as bang on the dot of 7 WORKING days, my nice new meter arrived and factory sealed, a UK model with UK user manual.

Even more impressive, was that the Easter Bank Holiday sat slap bang in the middle of my order window, so probably took more like 6 working days.

I will definately be using Expedite again.

Dont believe the delivery timescales

I have ordered a fair bit over the last few months from asia based companies so understand the delivery times which is fine when they are declared accurately up front.

I checked the order times before purchasing a phone and to mainland uk delivery time was 4-7days, which is excellent in all fairness.

After ordering last Monday i received an email stating i will received shipping confirmation within 3 days of receipt of email. Well Friday came round and still no email, but i did receive a text from Parcelforce stating it would be delivered on or before the 29th. So i did not chase. However on the Sat i called the helpline who stated it had not been dispatched yet and i will receive confirmation shortly.

On Monday just gone i received a shipping email (6days already from date of order) and Parcelforce was showing ADVISED. When i spoke to Parcelforce they stated the company has not yet handed the parcel to the courier and to wait. So today is the official 7th day as promised and Parcelforce is still showing as ADVISED and not yet having received the parcel from the company.

So if you need your item within a week, shop elsewhere as they have not delivered what they promised. I have no issues with waiting at all, but they should not give shipping guidelines which they know they wont meet.

The fact Parcelforce state its not been handed over to the courier means they cannot blame anyone bar themselves if they respond to this. Im sure the phone will arrive (most likely Monday which will be 14 days or 11 working days), but if you are in a rush shop elsewhere.

Mixed bag

I have in the past ordered three phones from them and I cannot fault the price, the products or the service. Excellent all round!

However....having returned to buy another phone very recently I've been left very disappointed. The phone I ordered was listed as in stock but then they returned my money saying not in stock. Correspondence revealed it's not likely to be back in stock either. Tried again for a different phone and exactly the same result.

They refund money straight away to be fair and correspondence is good, but they still list the out of stock items on their site as in stock, rather than taking them down or listing as out of stock. I'm not prepared to be disappointed a third time so will have to take my business elsewhere. That's a shame as the products I did manage to buy have been spot on and at a fantastic price.

Sort the out of stock situation out and I'd gladly go back, but not until then.

PRAY NOTHING GOES WRONG!

Just pray nothing goes wrong because you're in for a long wait if it does!

Bought an LG G4 from Expedite in June 2015 and it arrived in around a week, not too bad. It went wrong in December, basically the phone died utterly. We couldn't take advantage of LG's UK guarantee scheme as the phone Expedite sent us was a Hong Kong model so it had to be returned to Expedite. We sent it to them (at our own cost - they refuse to refund you anything, even when the fault is not caused by you). They received it on the 30th December 2015. After lots and lots and lots and lots of emailing them we finally got our phone back... on February 2nd 2016... 35 Days later. And now we have it back I'm pretty sure it's a refurbished model as the battery life is much shorter than it was and the camera software is being extremely slow.

My advice: do yourself a favour, wait a few weeks for the phone you want to drop to the same price in the UK and avoid having to deal with this shoddy company. I certainly won't be buying from them ever again.

Excellent price, no problems as long if you are not in a rush

I purchased a camera from them. The price was cheap and the product excellent.

The only problem I had with them was that the product wasn't delivered for a while. When I contacted them about it, they said it had been despatched and I should contact the courier (Parcelforce).

Indeed this was true and the delay was solely due to Parcelforce.

In fact, the person at Parcelforce had allegedly come twice and despite being supposed to leave a card they didn't so I didn't know. Eventually, after I tracked down where it was they told me it was in the Camden depot. I could arrange re-delivery (but by now this would almost certainly be at a date I would not be there due to work) or they would charge for any additional options. So I decided to dedicate about 3 hours on a Saturday to going to the depot and physically picking it up.

The queue was long and full of people in a similar position. 1 in 3 people were told the product wasn't there after all. Most of them were told despite one part of the company saying the package was in the Camden depot, these parts of the company never actually ask the Camden depot if it is there or not and just tell people to come anyway. The rest were told they waited too long (even though like me no card was delivered) so it had been sent away and they no doubt had to spend more time to get their product. I was one of the lucky 2/3rds and managed to walk away with my camera ever since.

I was lucky because I only needed it in about 4 months time so I had time to wait in case problems arose. For those needing the product more urgently, you should probably pay extra for a better more reliable delivery method.

But One could blame expediateelectronics for using parcel force. I don't. I blame Parcelforce. And even then, as I had time, I was able to get a top quality product at a low price that I think compensated for the time and hassle of Parcelforce. If, however, you wish to not have this hassle, you could always buy one of the more expensive delivery options as I think expediateelectronics will still be very competitive with this additional charge. Alternatively you could make absolutely sure you are delivering to an address that will always have somebody able to take delivery.

Full of empty promises

Ordered Dr Dre Earphones on 27th November with a promise to deliver in 4-7 working days. They did not arrive, so I followed up, to be told the courier must have lost them. I was then promised a refund, to which I asked do you still have them in stock. The reply was yes, so I asked for the order to be completed. It is now the 15th of December and I have followed this up 4 more times and they cannot tell me what is happening. I have been told the only way the UK can correspond with Hong Kong is by email and that they have sent emails each time I called, since the 10th and have not received replies. I am told that a 'Supervisor' is dealing with it. I must admit to not realising this company was in Hong Kong when I ordered and to save an extra 10 or so percent is NOT worth the hassle. Do not bother to use them.

Empty promises- All cost avoid

I ordered a Samsung mobile which stop charging with everything else fine including screen after few months- Being in warranty I contacted them and send the mobile back to them- After keeping mobile with them for 2 weeks they replied and said that the screen was broken and its not included in warranty- I always kept my mobile in case and never give it to any one else for use. They blamed me which was frustrating;after breaking the screen to void the warranty. Best to buy from UK based retailers with ethics .

Do NOT Buy From This Company - EVER!

Utterly Rubbish Company With Even Worse Communication!

Bought a phone in early June. By early July it had broken.

Took the device to a manufacturers shop only to be told it was an imported model, from the Far East, so it was not supportable in the UK or EU!

Contacted Expedite for a resolution. They eventually agreed to repair it and had to send it back to Hong Kong for repairs. Poor communication throughout the process, with me doing all the chasing. 6 weeks later the device was returned to me, claiming to be fixed. It wasn't.

Broken, it was sent back the next day, and I am still waiting for a resolution to the whole saga, 5 months after the fault was first reported to them!

Eventually they agreed to send me a brand new device, but have point blank refused to provide a full refund or any compensation.

Communication is very very very poor. The call centre is not part of this company, just an outsourced centre for handling calls. The "head office" is not contactable by phone - ever - so any communication is via their "help desk", which is not very helpful, as it can take weeks to get a resolution.

For the sake of a £20 saving over another company, one which is acctually reputable, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - EVER!
More hassle than they are worth.

good experience, updated

ordered a samsung s6 edge. product came as advertised, sealed and new in box. shipping was pretty quick (< 2wks). the phone works great. have had it for approx 4+ months and everything has been working fine.

update:
about 8 months into using the phone, had an issue where it randomly turns off. customer service has been polite, but the process to get them to accept a repair request (under warranty still), then fix it and finally get the phone back took about a month. the problem still persists with the phone, although it is a bit improved after the repair.

end of story, I would prb just pay more next time for a non-gray market, 100% legit phone and not have to worry about these types of issues and long repair lead times.

for smaller items, I would buy from expedite electronics, but not higher priced items.

Pretty good company to be fair !

Out of all the online companies to buy from then these guys are pretty good to be fair ! I`ve used them a few times and never a problem apart always double check they have what your looking for in stock as orders can overlay stock sometimes but apart from that then yes well worth using . They have a uk customer helpline who are based in the uk but there stock does come from the manufacture mainly in china etc etc where all or most electronics come from anyway . All companies online have the odd hiccup at times ( amazon being the worst in my experience ) so expedite electronics come out about 8/10 - 9/10 out of them all .Ps ... refunds can take between a few days to 2 weeks depending on if you used paypal and had the funds in there to start with !

mobile phone

I was dubious at first after seeing some bad reviews but decided to go for it anyway. I bought an lg mobile, latest model, very cheap. Phone arrived within 4 days, works perfectly, tracked it with parcelforce with no issues. I would buy again with confidence.

Two extremely positive experiences

Both my orders (Galaxy S5, for hubby, 04/12/2014, and one for myself, 23/06/2015) arrived much faster than expected, I received exactly what I ordered at unbelievably cheap prices. Both are still working perfectly.
