1. Delivery handling and safety
The delivery partner appears to have the discretion to leave parcels in any location, irrespective of the item value or external conditions such as wind and rain. In my case, parcels were left on walkways and cycling paths, which created a potential safety hazard and obstruction. Leaving items unattended in such open areas makes them vulnerable to theft or misuse, effectively treating the delivery as abandoned or as charity rather than a securely completed delivery. At a minimum, an acceptable level of care does not appear to have been applied.
2. Lack of immediate support in critical scenarios
There does not seem to be a direct or expedited support process for critical situations such as missing or damaged deliveries. Customers are required to wait through an investigation period and complete multiple forms without any confirmed resolution or clear timeline. I was informed that forms would be sent to me; however, I have not received anything to date. You have to bare the return courier fee and packing for the damaged items and they will offer 10 to 20% refund and not a full refund. Example if a rice bag is damaged you have to buy a new bag and pack the damaged items by yourself and send to them. If you have received your delivery in not a good condition They will literally show you hell.
3. Customer support responsiveness
Customer support was not proactive, and I had to follow up multiple times before an investigation was initiated, which was both time-consuming and frustrating. Customer support stated that emails were not received, despite confirmation that they were successfully delivered. As a result, I had to repeatedly insist that the same complaint be checked and forwarded again in order to gain attention.
4. Lack of transparency regarding packaging
There is no clear information provided regarding how items are packaged for shipment. There also appears to be no record held by the provider identifying about packed items, and I was asked to clarify which parcel contained which items which I had no clue. As a result, when an item is not delivered, customers are left to assume which items are missing and what they have sent mistakenly in place of the ordered items. Inventory tracking and packing details at the sender’s end appear to be unavailable.
5. Accountability
Poor accountability resulting in the burden of follow-up being placed on the customer, even though the issue lies outside the customer’s control.
This feedback is shared to inform other customers and to encourage improvements in service quality and accountability.
I have placed two orders with this company, and on both occasions the delivery was handled by DPD. The first time, the items arrived damaged. The second time, the parcel was missing altogether.
I contacted customer support to report these issues, but the responses I received were consistently unhelpful, unprofessional, and dismissive. My email queries were never properly acknowledged or resolved.
Based on my experience, I would not trust or recommend this company.

Delivery service is very bad and he left the package at main door
I placed an order with Exotic eStore (£59) which was delivered to an old address due to Apple Pay auto-filling outdated details.
The parcel was left unattended at the doorstep despite containing non-perishable items, and I did not receive any delivery notification. The item was stolen and never received by me.
I provided full details and a police crime reference number. However, instead of offering a refund or free replacement, I was only offered a 50% discount to reorder, which would require paying again for goods I never received.
I am still waiting for a fair resolution in line with UK consumer expectations.
Edit: I was offered 50 percent refund on the next order pf same worth that i placed from ExoticStore which resolved the issue fairly for me. I appreciate their help on this one.

I am happy with online shopping but I am not satisfied with DPD delivery because we are raising compliant every time regarding delivery and paying delivery charges but they not delivery near door. they are leaving somewhere and sending photo. not happy with delivery.
