I’ve been using Excitel for a few months, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it — especially if you rely on a stable connection for work.
Just recently, my internet stopped working for 5 days straight. I raised a complaint (with a proper ticket number) and followed up multiple times with their local support engineers. I kept getting the same replies like “I’m sending someone” or “the device needs to be replaced,” but no one actually showed up. Even during an important client meeting, I had to switch to mobile data because they didn’t resolve the issue.
This wasn’t a one-time glitch — it's happened 3 times in the past 5 months.
Their support system is highly unreliable, communication is poor, and the issue resolution is painfully slow. I’ve now asked for a disconnection and refund of my security deposit.
If you're looking for peace of mind and dependable service, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
Extremely poor service, careless support, and unresolved issues even after installation
I raised a shifting request for my Excitel connection on 14th July 2025, and was told it would be done in 4-7 days. But for the first 7 days, nothing happened — no visit, no call.
On the 8th day (22nd July), a local provider was finally assigned. He came but clearly said, "Excitel doesn't work in your area" and left. So the complaint had to be reopened. On 23rd July, when the next technician was assigned, he refused again saying it's not feasible in my area. The shocking part is — within a few hours, Excitel closed the complaint showing it as "Area Not Feasible", without even confirming anything with me.
Then for the third time, I had to raise a new complaint. This time a different provider was assigned, and he finally came on 25th July and did the installation.
But even after that, the problems are not over. The router keeps restarting again and again, sometimes within just a few seconds of starting. I’m not even able to connect to the network properly.
When I complained about this, Excitel support said the device will be changed only if the local provider raises a request, and the local provider says that it will only happen if I raise the complaint. Both are passing blame and not taking any responsibility.
It’s 28th July now, and the problem is still unresolved. I’m stuck with a faulty connection and no one seems to care.
This has been a terrible experience overall. No coordination, no proper support, and no accountability. I would never recommend Excitel to anyone.

I recently subscribed to the 200 Mbps plan, expecting reliable speed and strong Wi-Fi coverage as promised. However, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing from the beginning.
The internet rarely reaches the promised speed. Even basic browsing is slow at times.
The Wi-Fi range is terrible. I stay on the 2nd floor, while the router is on the ground floor. There is almost no signal upstairs, despite being told the range is 15 meters.
Frequent disconnections, showing “No Internet” even when connected.
Customer support is unresponsive or provides no real solution.
This kind of service is unacceptable, especially after paying for high-speed fiber. I demand a proper resolution, whether through a range extender, better router, or technician visit. Otherwise, I will be forced to discontinue Excitel and report this issue on social platforms and consumer forums.
Please treat this as urgent.

I’m extremely frustrated with Excitel Broadband’s customer service. My internet connection has been down for two working days, and despite raising a complaint, all they did was create a ticket and leave it in “Pending” status. No engineer visit, no follow-up, and absolutely no sense of urgency from their side.
Internet is a basic utility these days—especially for those working from home—and Excitel’s careless attitude towards service issues is unacceptable. If they can’t resolve a “No Connection” issue in 48 hours, it says a lot about how they treat their customers.
Would not recommend this provider to anyone who expects reliability and prompt support. Excitel, please take your customers seriously!

On 25th June I’ve created a ticket#3936754 for connection shifting and they’ve called me on 28th June asking to confirm the location details which was already updated in the ticket just because I couldn’t answer the call first time they have closed my ticket and then opened new one #3945327 when I’ve called them asking why it’s closed. As a follow up I’ve been contacting them and they mentioned I should get the Internet connection in 24hrs and now it’s more than 24hrs and I’ve not received any updates. Such a pathetic service

I'm really tired and sick of your service. I have raised a ticket on 16/06/2025 for no internet connection and till date it is not resolve yet. I've contacted their customer service on call and chat more than 20 times but every advisors keep saying they have escalated on priority basis and promised on every single interaction it will be resolved within 4 to 24 hours and said it has been assigned to technician called Krishan Pal but no one from the technician team has contact me or show up at my place to check and resolve my issue. I'm paying you thousands and thousands to get service but I feel I have been scammed and here I am paying extra to recharge my mobile data more than ₹100 per day as I am working from home and I need data/internet for my work.

Worst experience ever. Rajan Kumar is the person harassing with the name of legal notice. Please do not take Excitel service because if you don't recharge every month even though you have bought the internet connection with router,they come to you place to threaten , and harrass you. This I never faced with my internet provider and I believe no one has. When I confront this Rajan, he said this on lease have to recharge every month. Is this an emi that we have to pay every month? Exitel provides terrible service. The internet is never stable, and their customer support is completely unresponsive. The connection goes down every other day, and all you get are automated replies when you try to complain. After paying, it feels like you’re begging just to get basic service. I had one of the worst customer experiences with this broadband service. The sales representative blatantly lied just to close the deal. He promised that I'd be getting OTT subscriptions and TV channels with the plan. The moment I made the payment, he called back and said, “Sorry, you won’t get OTT unless you pay more.” I was in complete shock.
When I tried to change the plan, they flat out refused, saying changes aren’t allowed after payment. So I asked for a refund – again, a big NO. So basically, they took my money based on false promises and left me stuck with a service I didn't want.
To make things worse, during installation, their technician removed my existing Jio connection without even asking. Now I’m left with no internet at all, and zero support from their side.
This whole experience has been a nightmare – full of false promises, zero accountability, and terrible customer support. I’d strongly recommend everyone to stay far away from this service. Don’t fall for their lies like I did.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life with Excitel Broadband, and I strongly urge everyone to stay far away from this company.
I was a customer with Excitel for a few years, not months, years. To be honest, the internet speed was fairly good but due to some personal reasons I had to switch to other broadband.
My real nightmare began after I decided to discontinue their service. As part of the setup, I had paid a security deposit of ₹2000 for the router/modem, which was clearly refundable upon return of the device. When I discontinued the connection, the device was collected from my home — fully functional and intact. But weeks passed, and there was no communication and no refund.
When I followed up with customer care, I was told a shocking lie: that the device was "damaged" at the time of collection and hence the refund would not be processed. This is an absolute fabrication. The device was in perfect working condition, and there was no damage — cosmetic or functional. I strongly suspect this is just an internal scam they run to avoid returning security deposits.
Despite repeated emails and calls, all I received was vague, scripted responses and zero accountability. No proof of the alleged damage was ever shared. No photographs. No inspection report. Nothing. Just an excuse pulled out of thin air. Clearly, Excitel believes it can get away with looting customers, thinking people won't take action over ₹2000.
This isn’t just poor service — this is daylight robbery.

I have earlier used Excitel when it only provided broadband services, even then i used to have constant disconnections, long wait times for resolution etc.
Since Excitel started providing fiber services with the promise of 24hr resolution time i thought of giving it a try again. But again i have been having issues since day 1 of the connection.
The main issue is that my router randomly reboots by itself(disconnection) thus interrupting my work.
When i try to contact Excitel customer service via chat they simply check current wifi active time and spout same repeated nonsense: "your connection is active since 1hr sir" and close the issue.
They simply don't want to believe the concrete proof that i show them of my usage history showing how many times the router has rebooted itself.
Other times when i create a ticket they close the ticket by themselves marking it as "No Issues found" or "User Issue". TALK ABOUT GASLIGHTING THEIR CUSTOMERS.
I've literally been begging to get the router changed since day 1 of the connection and it's been over a month since then, and they promise 24hr resolution 😐
The number of times I've contacted their customer service, by now I've probably talked to all their employees atleast once!
I'm this close to complaining about them to consumer court, enough is enough!
P.S: For those who say that others have good experience with them, remember that's only the case for small issues (i.e, your luck is good). If you're like me and end up having a bigger issue, the company will become your nightmare.
I was stupid since i bought the 6+3 months promo and am now stuck with it for another 8 months.
Save yourself the trouble and never come near this company again.
