Great cabin in a very nice area! Enjoyed our stay but didn't like having to haul our trash somewhere. Didn't know about that inconvenience till we arrived. Overall, a nice weekend getaway.

***I'm updating my original review since someone from customer escalations reached out to me and extended my credit so I could book a trip. Thanks for doing the right thing and putting your customer first. We just booked our trip for this summer.
I booked a home through Evolve and had to cancel our trip. I notified Evolve in time for the cancellation date so I received a travel credit to use in the future. When I tried to book another stay using the travel credit on the date it was due to expire, I received an error that the promotion code was no longer valid. I contacted support to explain the situation and they informed me that travel credits expire by a certain time of day in their system. This information was not included in the reminder email they sent with the expiration date - only the date was provided. The support person assured me they would work with management to resolve this for me. After waiting almost one month, I heard back from support that Evolve has discontinued their future travel program and therefore they have denied my request. I'm at a complete loss at their lack of customer service and that they aren't supporting a policy that was in place at the time I booked and canceled our reservation. I had hoped to hear back from someone that they want to make this right, but unfortunately the response was that they were sorry it didn't work out and they would share it internally so they could learn from it in the future. What kind of customer service is this? They obviously do not value me as a customer or care that I have done business with them in the past. Evolve, you have lost a customer, and I will be sharing this negative, disappointing experience with my friends and family.

We had a great Experience staying at our VRBO in Apex, NC from 12/11 to 12/15/25. The house was modern, clean, and relaxing. We stayed on Tunstall St. in Apex, NC.
One suggestion I would make is to provide some toiletries for stay.

Our experience with Evolve was extremely frustrating and mishandled from beginning to end. I wish I could post the photos here. We arrived at our rental property to find it filthy and clearly not cleaned. We immediately contacted the property manager and Evolve to request assistance. While a cleaner was sent, only the common areas were addressed—the bedrooms were completely untouched. The beds had visible hair, body smudges, and dirty sheets, making them unusable.
Prior to this incomplete cleaning, we were told we would receive a refund for the first night and were given permission to check out if we felt uncomfortable. Due to severe dust and dander throughout the home, I experienced nonstop sneezing and coughing. Out of necessity and good faith, my sister and I purchased cleaning supplies and sanitized the home ourselves (excluding the beds), hoping this would support a fair resolution.
The property manager later stopped responding to calls—not only from us, but also from Evolve. Despite this, Evolve failed to adequately advocate on our behalf. After their investigation, Evolve decided to keep $1,250 for a supposed “half-night stay” and refunded only $95, even though we paid nearly $1,400 total.
We were forced to sleep on the couch because the beds were unusable, and it was too dark and unsafe to leave the property that night. We ultimately checked out and spent the next day scrambling to find alternative lodging, while also having to cancel pre-booked activities—completely ruining our vacation.
Evolve’s handling of this situation was unacceptable. Their lack of accountability, poor communication, and unfair refund decision placed the financial burden entirely on the guest, despite clear sanitation issues and documented problems.
I would strongly caution anyone considering booking through Evolve. When something goes wrong, guests should not expect adequate support or fair resolution.
This was my time for my sister and I to bind after connecting after 35 years. Utterly disappointed!

Blown away, couldn’t ask for more for me and my family. We’re in close proximity to the beach, pool, and the tiki bar/restaurant that also offered parasailing and jet skiing.

The home is in a very nice neighborhood. It is well outfitted and the kitchen and master bath are wonderfully remodeled. Plenty of room for three couples. The one criticism is that two of the king beds are very low to the ground.

Nice communication, clean, as pictured. Has hide a bed in couch but probably suited best for 2 travelers. Bed was comfortable, had all the amenities we needed. Price was good value.

My family and I had a wonderful stay for Thanksgiving! The communication was great leading up to the stay. We appreciated the cleanliness of the dog friendly house. I personally liked the well stocked kitchen. The location is only 20 minutes from my son's apartment in Gainesville. Thank you! I would highly recommend the home and will book it again in the future!

I’m giving Evolve one star due to a very concerning and unresolved situation with their recommended cleaning partner, as well as consistently poor customer service.
I signed up with Evolve in April, and they connected me with a cleaning partner to whom I gave a key to my property. I ended my contract with Evolve in September and took my property off the market. Since then, this cleaning partner has been asking me inappropriate and irrelevant questions about why I ended the contract and removed the listing.
As of December 2nd, I still do not have my house key back. Evolve’s choice of vendors has put my home security at risk, as someone else continues to hold a key to my house months after our contract ended. To me, it seems like Evolve does not properly request or perform background checks on their cleaning partners, which is extremely disturbing when you are trusting them with access to your home.
On top of that, my experience with the cleaner herself was very unprofessional. She once cleaned my house and took two full days to finish because, according to her, her vacuum stopped working. She also used my personal cleaning towels, even though she was not supposed to, and then never washed them or put them back properly – she simply left them dirty. This is far below any reasonable standard for a “professional” cleaning partner.
Evolve’s customer service has been just as disappointing. They are never willing to truly help, never seem to know what is going on, and are never able to answer even basic questions. There is no sense of ownership or urgency in resolving issues.
Because of all this, I cannot recommend Evolve. I would not trust this company with my home, my keys, or my peace of mind.

I am writing this review as an Owner that had a rental. I used Evolve for many years off and on with a few properties. In the beginning they were great. This recent property has been horrible!!! My main complaint is they have now outsourced all their customer service to Egypt.....literally Egypt!!! There is zero comprehension on their end when I've called with a question or change, emails back from an issue have nothing to do with my problem and just refer me to the FAQ. They used to creativley work to promote our properties and it used to feel like a partnership, bookings are WAY down! I've had guest beg them for my number because they would not respond to her questions and once they finally did respond they could not answer her. You sold out Evolve! You've lost the personal touch that matters so much to Home Owners and guest!
