I can recommend Anthony Field, at the Evelyn Partner Offices in Newcastle. We started our journey with Anthony nearly a year ago after a change in financial circumstances. We were new and uncertain to the opportunities of financial management and planning. Anthony has ensured that the process has been careful and considered, with ample time for reflection and evaluation, which I believe is one key element to why, moving forward, we feel comfortable and assured in the decisions we have made with the advice from Anthony and his team. His approach is building that personal solution to suit our needs, with honesty and patience, and we look for to a stable financial future working with Anthony and his team.

I have dealt with Anthony Field for more years than I remember. I have always found him to be polite, knowledgeable about the markets and very approachable. His recommendations are sound and based on his expertise and experience in the business. He explains things clearly in understandable language without the need to use financial jargon. He was particularly helpful in sorting out our affairs when my wife died two years ago. She had always been the “financial administrator” in our house. I have had a good service over the years from Evelyn and its predecessors. Anthony Field in particular gives good, clear and understandable advice.

I invested with Edward Jones in 2009 and the customer service was outstanding. They sold to Towry Law about 2010. Customer service was very good. They became Tilney in 2017 and customer service was ok. Now with Evelyn Partners they have reached the bottom of the barrel as far as customer service goes. I called the Guildford office today and was told I had to call the Client Relationship Team. The less than helpful switchboard operator could not transfer me to anyone in the office as she thought she would 'get into trouble' if she transferred me to the wrong person. I have called the Client Relationship Team 3 times now and left a message and I still have not received a call back.

My tax advisor had moved to Evelyn and I followed him there. He then moved and Evelyn restricted me from continuing to work with him even though I have been withb him for years and they would gain no benefit from enforcing such a restriction, causing me to incur additional costs and losing time to find and work with a new advisor. Very disappointing...
