Absolutely atrocious organisation

Absolutely atrocious organisation. Items on their website state "lowest price in last 30 days" even if it was cheaper yesterday. Their website states "fast nationwide delivery" 1 - 3 days for small appliances but as you can see from other reviews this isn't the case. When I contacted them about my order they stated that the item was on back order and expected to be in within 2 weeks. After some prodding the chat agent admitted that they order items from their suppliers when you order from them. They are nothing but glorified middlemen. You pay them then they go buy it from someone else and send it to you. Everything about them during my experience has been dishonest. I have documented all of it and will be contacting consumer rights... Etit: as per your reply: I'm aware of what your "lowest price in the last 30 days" is intended to reflect. However when I purchased the item from you the price wast listed at 124.99 and that was stated as the lowest price in the last 30 days. 3 days later thr price has been raised to 149.99 and the website still listed the item as the lowest inn the last 20 days. So your verified system is incorrect or you are straight out dishonest. I should have read the reviews here first as there is definitely a patern of these experiences. Message just recieved from your own chat agent. "Hi Michael, I have received an update in regard to the online pricing message regarding the unit you bought and it was indeed an IT error, and it has been raised with the developers. I have attached a screenshot of the price history for clarification."

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share it.

To clarify, the “lowest price in the last 30 days” message on our website is a regulatory requirement under the EU Omnibus Directive. It reflects the lowest price the product has been sold for in the previous 30 days, rather than indicating day-to-day price changes. We use a verified system to ensure this is tracked and displayed correctly.

Regarding delivery, while we aim to meet our stated 1–3 day timeframe, delays can occur—particularly during busy periods or when items are temporarily out of stock. In some cases, to speed things up, we may arrange for products to be shipped directly from our suppliers. This is done to fulfil orders as quickly as possible, though we acknowledge this wasn’t communicated clearly in your case.

We’re sorry that your experience did not meet expectations and will take your feedback on board.

Kind regards,
Euronics Ireland

Appalling Service

Purchased washing machine in Ennis branch.
Took 21 days to be delivered to Shannon.
I contacted them several times during this time span only to given excuses blaming their courier. The final straw was a promise I would receive an email from the courier the day prior to delivery (on day 21) and guess what! No email of course. Reported again to Euronics as I needed someone to be at the house to receive the goods. They, Mairead, replied via email saying the courier's messaging system had broken down.
Well, I Never!
A laugh and a lesson learned.

And just reading their other reviews on this site now. The pattern is evident. Wish I had seen this prior to decision to purchase from them.

Update: Euronics replied to this review and have only confirmed further the complete lack of customer service
What merchant would ever want to come under such a brand name where it's ethos is so denigrating towards consumers.
Furthermore, order still took another week and delivery driver was shockingly unprofessional.
FYI
And 'customer servive' has not been in contact as they would like to have one believe in reply.

Hi Fergus,

Thank you for your review.

We’re sorry to hear about the delay and the issues you experienced with delivery and communication.

Having checked the order, we can see it was placed on Euronics.ie on 6th February and not directly with the Ennis branch.

All Euronics stores are independently owned and operated, and online orders are managed separately.

We will pass your feedback to our customer service team, who will make direct contact with you to review this matter further.

Kind regards,
The Euronics.ie Team

Claimed item 'in stock' but it wasn't & didn't bother to tell me

I ordered an 'in stock' item from their website as a Christmas gift. Ten days past and the item still hadn't shipped so I emailed them only to be told that they didn't even have the item and would have to refund me! That left me scrambling to source a replacement before Christmas day. They made no effort to contact me to tell me they didn't have it (they claimed they sent me an email but it didn't exist and they didn't bother to pick up the phone to call). I would have been left sitting there on Christmas Eve wondering if it was going to arrive. Sorry, but their service is unreliable.

Euronics N17 Superstores - avoid!

This is a review of the "N17 Superstores" Euronics outlets. We bought a washing machine from them in March 2024 and in July 2025, it developed a fault with the door locking mechanism. We contacted customer service but were told that the manufacturer only provides a 1 year warranty; when we questioned their obligations as retailers under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, we were informed that "Given that you have been using the machine for over a year, this would indicate that it met those standards at the point of purchase". I went to the shop in Ballina and the lady there told me that "the warranty depends on the manufacturer, we just sell the appliances so it really has nothing to do with us".
After a lot of back and forth, the company agreed to cover the cost of a call out which resolved that issue.

However, one month later, the machine developed another unrelated fault; we again contacted N17 Superstores customer service only to receive the same reply about the machine not being covered under warranty and that it was our responsibility to arrange a service call out for it, etc. Again after much back and forth and when we had just started to raise a case with the Small Claims Court, the retailer came back to say that the manufacturer had agreed to replace the machine.

Ultimately we received a replacement machine but only because we refused to be pawned off by their customer care representatives. A large part of buying from local retailers like this is that you're happy to pay a little extra because you expect a slightly better level of customer service. In our experience, this is not the case with N17 Superstores

Hi Neil,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered with your washing machine and the frustration caused throughout the process. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we appreciate you outlining the issues so clearly.

We’re glad that a resolution was ultimately reached, but we completely understand that it should not have required so much back and forth on your part. Feedback like yours is extremely important in helping us identify where improvements are needed, both in communication and customer support.

We will pass your message onto the N17 Store so they are fully aware of your experience and can address the concerns raised.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. If there’s anything further we can assist with, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but the experience with euronics was so poor I had to. Made an order 3 weeks ago or more bought 3 items 2 arrived they forgot to give the 3rd appliance to the courier so I was told I would have it the following week they then sent out a completely different appliance so courier had to take back again and have been waiting since was told I’d get an update soon as possible 8 days later still none has held everything up for weeks now and instead of being able to tell me when it is due to arrive they preferred to give a refund that I still haven’t recieved and is through humm so will hold everything up even further till I can sort a replacement very disappointing will never be ordering again.

I have ordered panel heater and it arrived within 6 working days from Poland to Ireland.
This is my second one from them and it works brilliantly to heat up a small room at a low cost. It was cheaper to order from Poland then from ebay.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just have to for this company, I ordered a washing machine online and I could not get it delivered, there was constant excuses as to why not so I cancelled the order after over 2 weeks of waiting. Hi Sheila,

I’m really sorry for the frustration you’ve had—that’s absolutely not the experience we want for anyone.

I’ve tried to locate your order from the details in this review but can’t find a matching record. Could you please DM us here with your order number, name, email.

We’ll investigate the delivery issues right away and make sure everything is put right.

If your order has been cancelled, we’ll confirm the refund status as soon as we can see the account—refunds usually show on your card once your bank finishes processing. We’ll also review what happened with our delivery partner so this doesn’t happen again.

Thank you for giving us the chance to sort this.

When is Euronics NOT Euronics

When you see a price online for Harvey Norman, Powercity, DID Electrical and most others, you know the in store price will be the same. Not so with Euronics.

On Thursday, 26/06, I purchased an Epson ET-2860 printer in Euronics Cavan, also known as Harry’s Electrical. When I returned home, I installed it and everything worked perfectly. As everything was working well, I disposed of the box and packaging. The purchase price was €249.
Over the weekend, when I went to check on the price of ink for the printer, I accessed the Euronics website and noticed that the printer was on sale, in store only, for €189, reduced from €209, the recommended retail price. Therefore I was overcharged in the shop by €60 (31%) over the sale price or €40 (19%) over the recommended retail price.
I returned to Euronics Cavan to seek a refund of the difference and for them to honour the advertised price. I was told a refund would only be issued if I could return the printer unused and boxed. Clearly that was not possible, as I had disposed of the box and packaging. I was also informed that the Euronics price advertised on the website would not be honored, as “Harry’s Electrical (Euronics Cavan) had nothing to do with Euronic’s online advertising".

This, in my opinion, is blatant false advertising, Euronics Cavan is utilising the benefits of the Euronics brand when it suits but will not honour what is being advertised online.

I contacted Euronics Ireland and while they "sympathised" with my frustration, I was informed that as Euronics shops are independent retailers, each can set their own price.

So please don't believe Euronics advertising where they say they are independent retailers who have come together to get the best prices for their customers. Shop around (something I regret not doing) and put Euronics bottom of the list.

Really poor experience, placed an order with installation for a washing machine, made the payment to then receive a phone call they don't offer installation. I am out of pocket for the washing machine and i have to wait for it to be refunded to me before i can afford to order another one, avoid.

Better Alternative than Amazon

Exactly what I wanted. The right model for the best price that I've seen out there. Only other way of acquiring this at this price and timeframe would've involved Address Pal. Much more convenient.

Ordered a new tumble dryer on Tuesday last week, it's 8 days later and no word from their delivery partner. When I realised they take up to a week to deliver I tried to cancel a few hours after ordering but they said i'd still have to pay the delivery fee as the item was dispatched, which seems strange that they would use a delivery partner who takes so long. Unacceptable.
