I parked in an evening as I had arranged to collect my son from a day out. Had not even considered that I would receive a fine for exceeding 10 minutes in the car park. The letter states an appeal wil... See more

Booked a 24hr parking permit
Booked a 24hr parking permit - was meant to receive confirmation of the booking via email. Foruntately for me, and knowing how these companies work I took a PDF of the website confirmation page and contacted support stating that I had not received the promised email. Support emailed back saying they have no access to the booking details, would not be able to get me a receipt and it should be in my account which I would have made when using the app/website. I didn't create an account but did provide my email address for the email receipt. Call me cynical but what's the betting I get a penalty fine for my future booking (paid for 24hrs, will stay for 4, 1 more than the car parks non-booked service) and without an email receipt - how would I go about proving my case. Seems fishy to me.

Sent a PCN for parking with a Blue Badge at Cardiff International Pool. I tried to appeal online with evidence, but the appeal process is flawed. It asks for details as in PCN number, name etc. However, it doesn’t allow you to upload Blue Badge or receipt from swimming as proof.
Their site insists on payment, their telephone number is automated for payments only, no customer care whatsoever. Apparently Euro Car Parks are under investigation for breaking the law. So this doesn’t surprise me.
I will not be paying the fine, I will take them to court if they think they can attack vulnerable people with disabled children.
What a vile company to try to deal with - I would give zero rating if poss.
I would give zero rating if poss.
What a vile company. Photographed a friend (driving my car) parked over a line in a Supermarket self-contained empty carpark at off peak time. Then in spite of me providing the drivers name and address - they continued to send Reminders to my address. Impossible to call or email them, and when i did succeed they claimed they didnt have my case.
Subsequently they passed my case to an equally vile DebtCollectionsBailiffsLtd - who then continued to send debt recovery threats wrongly to my address

A ECP place I park fairly recently has a machine which is completely broken for credit card payments.
I reported this to them months ago and nothing has been done.
The other options are their (terrible) app, or cash, but of course the machine doesn't give change.
⭐ 1 STAR
⭐ 1 STAR - I WOULD GIVE ZERO IF I COULD. AVOID EURO CAR PARKS.
My experience with Euro Car Parks has been absolutely appalling. I would strongly advise motorists to avoid their car parks wherever possible.
I parked at Brookshaw Park in Sheffield and DID PAY FOR MY PARKING. I followed the payment process at the machine, paid £2.50 by card, received an SMS confirming that my parking had been successfully paid for and was valid until 21:48, and displayed the ticket on my car.
Despite this, Euro Car Parks sent me a Parking Charge Notice claiming that “no valid pay and display/permit was purchased.”
I appealed and provided evidence. Eventually, their OWN RECORDS located my exact £2.50 payment, including the time, payment method and matching transaction reference. Yet instead of accepting that I was a genuine paying customer, they said their system had associated my payment with “Plate: 4” and called this a “major keying error”. They then demanded another £20 from me to close the case.
What vehicle has a registration number of simply “4”? If their system requires a full vehicle registration, why was a payment supposedly associated with just one character accepted in the first place? Why did the machine take my money, issue a successful parking session and send confirmation without identifying a problem?
I had absolutely no intention of avoiding payment. I PAID. They received the money. I had confirmation of the payment. I had paid parking time remaining when I left.
Their own letter also says the site has ANPR and regular patrols. I had displayed the ticket on my vehicle, so I also question why none of this prevented a PCN being issued.
Trying to resolve it was another nightmare. Their online enquiry form repeatedly returned “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” I tried different options and it still failed. The emails I found could not accept replies, and getting meaningful assistance by telephone was extremely difficult.
After spending far too much of my time fighting a £20 demand when I had ALREADY PAID FOR PARKING, I eventually paid the £20 simply to end the matter. Paying it does not change my view that the way I was treated was profoundly unfair.
A parking system should make it easy for genuine customers to pay correctly, identify obvious input problems before accepting payment, and resolve genuine mistakes fairly when clear proof of payment exists. In my experience, this process did the opposite.
I will NEVER knowingly use a Euro Car Parks-operated car park again. I would encourage other motorists to check who operates a car park before entering and, where practical, choose somewhere else.
I have retained the SMS payment confirmation, bank transaction, PCN, appeal correspondence and Euro Car Parks’ own evidence identifying my payment.
This was one of the worst parking/customer-service experiences I have had.
Awful service.
Attempted to go swimming with my daughter in Cardiff international pool. This is now run by Euro car parks. No machine available. App which I had to download then try and set up an account and was then told my email address which have been using for around 18 years is not valid. At this point I left the car park.
Awful service and will not be using the swimming pool again.
Where is the goodwill in the world
Where is the goodwill in the world? I had paid for my van to be parked at a Sainsbury's car park for the entire month. On a Sunday, when the supermarket was CLOSED, I came in my other car into the EMPTY car park to unload my van for a period of 31 minutes. I got a ticket for my car being in the car park for 31 minutes even though I was a PAYING customer for my van. Yes, that vehicle wasn't paid but where is the goodwill in the world when I was still a PAYING customer. This was appealed and rejected. I will actively avoid Euro Car Parks and if I ever have to use one, there will be ZERO goodwill from my side.
Machines to pay could be as simple as…
Machines to pay could be as simple as put your registration in and pay, instead it's a complicated online or mobile payment...if no signal and try and pay later can't input your time slot required.....then it fines by post £60 pay up now or it will be £100 ...try and dispute and they don't care ...pay up or baliffs involved. They must make a fortune from this as confused customers trying to pay while I was , if elderly you haven't a chance . Upper parliament street nottingham was location and like many areas no signal. I'm paying the £60 as not wasting more of my time on this company.....put your registration in and pay by card at other carparks....why use a system relying on data and mobile signal in a concrete building is beyond logic ..makes them some extra profit though
Rogue Traders
I had a parking fine for just running in the restaurant to pick up my handbag left from the night before. I appealed the charge but did not get a reply. I have been unable to appeal through POPLA as was not given a rejection number. I have written many times but just keep getting paperwork saying I have to pay £100. I do believe this company are Rogue Traders. You cannot speak to them and can only email once. There is no customer service... I will be spreading the word ROGUE TRADERS...
Disgusting
Disgusting! 7am parked for 5/10 mins in a child/parent parking space when on the way to work and the car park was empty, and being charged £80, I will no longer shop at Sainsburys
Very disappointing
Very disappointing. I raised a genuine concern with Euro Car Parks following my experience. On arrival, there was a payment sign visible at the entrance/exit, there was no payment machine that I could see on site and no parking payment number to contact to pay over the phone. When I rang the only number that was visible on the sign, it was a dedicated line for people to pay their actual parking fine. The company App that I downloaded to pay for the parking kept glitching and my payment was declined 3 times, through no fault of my own. I then moved my car to an alternative parking site, as advised by the staff at the venue I was visiting.
I emailed the company several times to explain and they provided very little meaningful support. I received a fine one week later but decided to pay it due to the time sensitive nature required for the reduced rate and the lack of relevant, helpful information in the responses I had received from the company so far. Also, the small print on the website says that the reduced rate will no longer be an option if I contest the fine. In my experience, it felt like the system sets you up to fail and insufficient support is provided from the company when dealing with queries, which feels unjust when people are trying to do the right thing.
Pack of chancers and cowboys. Don't give in.
Parked for over 4 hours, and left within 10 mins of my session ending (Code of Practice requires a minimum 10 min grace period for you to return to the car and leave after a session has expired). They still issued me with a PCN for £120...
I pointed this out in my appeal and Euro Car Parks then brazenly rejected my PCN appeal and insisted I should pay. So I took it to POPLA.
The moment their decision was going to face independent scrutiny - they cancelled the charge and withdrew the appeal. They didn't even submit their evidence. Just withdrew the appeal. Absolute idiots/chancers/cowboys (I could go on...)
So my appeal wasn’t good enough when they were judging it, but suddenly became good enough as soon as someone independent was going to.
Absolute waste of my time, and a process that seems designed to make people give up and pay, even against code of practice rules.
If you believe your charge is unfair, appeal to POPLA. Don’t be intimidated by an ECP rejection. Middle finger to you ECP. Will gladly avoid your car parks in future.

Impossible to appeal a car park charge
Impossible to appeal a car park charge. I was with my mother in Morrisons. We shopped there. I have the receipt. We took too long. I tried to appeal but the website only allows you to pay. I have paid the reduced price but I will be sending my evidence through and this is a total scam!
If I could give this 0 star I would. Awful website and company
Warning to everyone about using this…
Warning to everyone about using this car park. I paid the fee and sent a bank statement as proof, yet I still received a penalty notice. This operation seems like an organized scam. Despite submitting the bank statement, my appeal was rejected. Do not park your cars here to avoid being defrauded.
Bunch of Crooks (Avoid at all costs)
Bunch of Crooks. Went to their carpark using the Me International laundry service after hours and they said I was trespassing. Won't go there again. I wasn't lottering. Just washing close. I sent proof of my bank statement using Me International at Morrisons. I was fined £100. The government needs to get involved for working people. They are robbers.
