Essex Roofing came as a recommendation and we are certainly delighted with their service. Lewis was knowledgeable and friendly and his communication was spot on. Darren and Harry, the roof operatives, undertook their work (replacement hips and ridges and some chimney and general maintenance work) in an efficient and professional way, keeping us informed of everything they were doing up on the roof. They were always punctual, polite and left our premises clean and tidy every day; they were indeed nice to have around. We would highly recommend Essex Roofing and will call instantly should we need any further roofing work. You'll be in safe and professional hands - we're 100% happy. Thank you guys.

The guys on site were absolutely brilliant (Lloyd, Lewis, Brett and Michael George). They were hardworking, tidy and clearly took real pride in their work. The whole job from scaffolding to the finished roof was completed to an incredibly high standard. They were respectful of my property, kept disruption to a minimum and nothing was ever too much trouble.

I am SO impressed with Essex Roofing. From initial response, visit and quote by their director Lewis, to subsequent work by two real gentlemen, Darren and Harry, I cannot fault them. I live in a 1930’s bungalow and their work has been sympathetic to that era - and that is meant as a huge compliment! I now have a safe and secure ridge atop my slates and chimneys which have been reflaunched and repointed where necessary. And all with a guarantee and at a very competitive price compared to my other quotes. Everyone was super polite and the “team” were very hard working and cleared everything up afterwards. Well done! A very satisfied customer!

There was a damp patch on the front wall of our house below the eaves for many years. I thought it was due to a leaking gutter. Another company replaced the gutter and flashing but the problem persisted. Darren from Essex Roofing Limited investigated and found that the soaker between the wall and the tiles was too short. He and his colleague Harry removed the tiles, installed a new wide aluminium soaker and covered it with wide lead flashing as additional security.

They took off the blown pebble dashing and this was replaced today by Jeff and his mate.All done within 2 weeks. I am not anticipating any further problems and it will be very nice not seeing moss growing on the wall anymore!

Excellent service. Lewis could not have been more helpful and his also. This is the second time we have use the company with a third booked in.

We recently moved house and had leaks in different rooms with no idea what the issue was. The team identified multiple issues, and we were booked in just before Christmas. Great site team who fixed everything, including re-pointing the chimney. After a few big storms, the roof has been really tested, and we are so pleased that everything is now sorted. We had booked “Essex Roofing” to re
do our flat roof this February, but due to a very wet week and water seeping in Lewis came round on Saturday to sheet over the roof to keep it dry until they come next month. I cannot speak highly enough of his work. He was so thorough and has done a super job. Would 100% reccomend !!
