St anton is an amazing place to ski......location of hotel is perfect, staff in hotel superb, childcare is faultless, our four year old loved it, special mention for Henry, Miranda and Sarah!
What let’s hotel down is the small rooms, no sound proofing between your room and your neighbours you can hear everything through the walls, poor food....esprit you just need to do basic food rather than trying to dress frozen food up to be al la carte!
Yes we had a great holiday, not sure if we will do esprit again.

This year the staff were such a Fab team, all very knowledgeable, fun and such wonderful service. By far the childcare was awesome. Kayleigh the nanny was just beyond exceptional. My little 5month old adored her and I felt at such ease skiing. The hotel staff really looked after us all. We enjoyed the food, drinks and after dinner bar game's organised by Robin. The new hotel manager Hannah really has made a positive impression and we were able to compare considering this was our second visit to Courchevel.

Esprit really have nailed the family holiday experience. They have thought and continue to think of everything to ensure all child and adults needs are met. The staff to guest ratio is outstanding, and each member of staff really goes out of their way to help, advise and make the stay as special as possible.
A basic functional chalet hotel. The main bar area wasn’t large enough and was cold every evening. They tried to put out radiators but still a lot of people including myself sat in coats. The rooms were comfortable and had enough space. They were heated to a good temperature. Food was great every day except breakfast on the last morning! There was no food left after breakfast started at 4am. We came down at 7 and all the pastries and cooked food weren’t available and we had to wait a good 30mins. Child care was fantastic until my son ate something that didn’t agree with him. Out of respect I informed the child care team and kept him away from ski school for one day. We knew it wasn’t a tummy bug as none of the rest of us caught anything and he was just ill the once! To my anoyence and my sons sadness he was banned from ski school for 48hrs?! The child care rep Amber then connviently had that day off after banning my son! Very unfair and not necessary! If she’d had bothered to check in on me and my son I could of informed her he was fine and it was a one off. She had no right to ban him she is not a doctor and had as far as I’m concerned not followed her job as to check in on us! Being the mother I had been with my son and knew it wasn’t anything more than a disagreement with food! The worrying thing was when I took my son to join the ski school group as he was good to go no one would authorize him to ski!! The ski instructor was willing to take him and the poor child care rep spent 1hr phoning around to get permission with no one answering their calls! If there had been an emergency no one was contactable. The poor kids on ski school had to wait and then we were told he couldn’t join but was welcome to join the club 2hrs later for indoor play??? I actually couldn’t believe it! So he was contagious out in the fresh air but two hrs later able to mix inside?! Furious to say the least and sad for my son. These procedures clearly need to be re done! For this reason I don’t feel like booking with Esprit next year. This was our 4th holiday with you guys. My son had to miss 2 days of ski school for no reason. Unorganized and chaotic I’d describe that day. Not the kind of thing you want on a family ski holiday!
Amazing company to travel with. Childcare is above and beyond. All the staff are so friendly and happy to go above and beyond. Made our holiday so brilliant we would go back tomorrow!!
Great hotel, lovely staff. Geared towards families with small children who want their children in childcare most of the day and in bed at night. Slight niggle with poor wifi (only in reception and poor quality) and needing to take 2 separate lifts to travel between main areas and the exit to the town.

This was our first family ski holiday and it was fantastic in every way. All the Esprit Ski staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a perfect location with ski in-ski out. The food was delicious and most importantly of all, our children absolutely loved it and didn't want to come home. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Esprit Ski again.
Loved the resort, chalet location. Esprit staff and service was excellent and made everything easy. Chalet Dahlia is an unusual layout: two rooms directly above the lounge are noisy, the other four rooms are quiet but up a public staircase. Not ideal for young children, but take a baby monitor if you have little ones. Catering was excellent.
First skiing holiday with our two children and first holiday with Esprit. Stayed in Gressoney. Had a fantastic week. Children loved the skiing lessons and all the other activities. No lift queues and uncrowded slopes, couldn't believe it. Good range of runs and great mountain restaurants which were good value with friendly staff. Esprit staff in hotel, restaurant and kids clubs were excellent. All friendly and great with the children. Enjoyed the breakfasts, afternoon teas and dinner. Overall a very enjoyable family holiday.
Yet another great Esprit holiday! This was our third trip with Esprit and we've never been disappointed. I've not managed to find another company that provide such a wraparound service for looking after your children and the staff are a credit to the company.
I'm updating this review from 1 star to 5 stars for the following reasons but have left the original review below.
The true sign of a great company for me, and I've always loved and reviewed Esprit highly, is customer service in how they deal with problems.
Family Ski (see my google review) have the worst customer service I've ever experienced anywhere in my 46 years. Esprit have been simply outstanding.
I contacted Esprit at their request. They explained their reasoning (some of which I agreed with and some of which I didn't) and more importantly, held their hands up to making mistakes in the way they tried to implement the change from 6 catered days to 5.
They've listened to their customers (are you listening Family Ski) and re-introduced the 6 days catering in the chalet hotels where this is still viable.
A Big thank you to Hamish Rickman the Marketing and Guest experience director. Due to his superb handling of this I am once again an Esprit customer and have now booked the holiday I wanted, with the company I wanted and with the 6 days catering I'd expect.

5 stars for the holidays, 1 star for the profiteering. Be careful if you’re booking for 2018/19 Season.
I was in the process of paying for next year when they casually announced just 5 nights catering as feed back suggests guest want this and to give the staff 2 nights off. Nonsense. If guests don’t want the Chalet experience they stay at hotels or go out some nights anyway. If that’s the case, why have prices gone up not down.
It’s complete Nonsense. It’s Simply so they don’t have to provide the food or wine on a second night pocketing the profit.
Pay for 6, get 5. No thanks.
This will destroy a truly great company. Whoever thought of this needs sacking. I cancelled immediately and am off to book with ski famille. Outrageous.

Absolute nonsense. You are charging for a catered holiday and are only providing 5 out of 7 nights catering. Your prices went up despite you "Stealing" another night from your customers.
If i wanted to go self catering I'd go that route and pay far less. You sneaked this in and then lied that all companies are doing this. THEY ARE NOT. Only company's in your group. Do you think we are all idiots.
I noticed this wasn't mentioned until I was about to pay despite me discussing the pricing options and alternatives for a couple of weeks.
You could have easily had 2 price points if what you say is true.
Lets call it for what it is. PROFITEERING. You will get away with it next season then word will soon spread.

From booking to the the journey home Esprit ensured the entire family had the most enjoyable and stress free holiday.
We stayed in Chalet Hibou in Peisey and can honestly say our chalet hosts were the best we’ve ever had and the rest of the Esprit staff were great. Peisey is the perfect resort for young families with fantastic tree runs and snow sure slopes. The only minor issue we had was the return transfer to the frankly awful Grenoble airport (huge queues for check, security and passport control) added to our long transfer (our connecting bus from La Plagne at our change in Moutiers was late) meant we were very late getting on the plane. Despite the mild panic there, all in all a brilliant holiday.
Room was below par based on previous experience and very tight for a family of five. Was not en-suit as advertised for the hotel.
The hotel is very basic. The style is more well worn and sad rather than traditional French Alpe Style.
Food average. My wife had ordered and paid for the Lactose free option. This had to be requested every day. The option seemed to be more to remove things from a normal dish rather than provide a lactose free option. Afternoon tea this was particulary apparent with the Muffins provided being so un-rissen and sad they were positivly depressed.
Fire alarm went off twice due to activation of manual call points. This happens. However building Fire response and evacuation procedures need full evaluation testing and comprehensive training for all staff. It was NOT done correctly and had the alarm been real it would have left a significant number of people at Major risk. I asked in writing to see this procedure at the hotel and did not. I still lwish to see it or will raise a formal complatint.
Generally Childcare staff were very good as usual and did a good job taking care of the kids.
The childcare staff were mature beyond their years and were brilliant with the children. The Alba Hotel manager Aron was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. The whole setup worked so well to give some level of balance between family time and being able to unwind whilst the children were being taken care of.
