First class experience at Erdem hospital
I had a lower facelift with Erdem hospital performed by Dr Kadir. My experience with Erdem hospital was first class from start to finish. Neda organised everything which all went so smoothly Neda took all the stress away from me i cannot thank her enough. Let’s talk about the main man himself the surgeon Dr Kadir he has gave me the results I was looking for and my scars are not visible that was one of my concerns that you would be able to see them. The aftercare has been great any concerns I had they answered promptly and put my mind at ease if I had an issue. The hospital was spotless and all my needs were met. I would highly recommend Dr Kadir in future if I need any more procedures without hesitation I will return to Erdem hospital

From sorting the booking through Neda the medical consultant to being transported back to the airport and follow up messages Everything was 5*
I am over the moon with my breast Augmentation, uplift and implants. My surgeon Dr Kadir was very informative and very approachable and did a fantastic job!
The nurses were very attentive and caring, again very approachable and if language was a problem, our phones solved that issue.
The cleaners and food staff were all lovely and a special shout out to Muhammed the translater, he was an absolute star (smelt really good too)😉.
I didnt go to the hotel after treatment but I believe I really missed out there!
I have already reccomended a friend who was really pleased and rated Erdem far superior to a hospital she went to in Antalia... the upshot is i would reccomend Erdem hospital to anyone and do intend to return in the future.

A continuation of my experience
Following my most recent review, Erdem have not reached out unlike before when they lied to me that if I take off my review, they would talk to me. I did so only for hem to come back to ask for money. I would advise anyone who wants to deal with them to be wary of falsehoods. They have ruined my life and deprived me of my savings. I am not only financially worse off but medically damaged for life. I will be pursuing this matter and be getting my voice out through my contacts in the media in due course of time and they should not be getting away with this.

I spent a lot of time searching for a good doctor to get done a gastric sleeve surgery and reached out to a few doctors and coordinators.
Firas (patient coordinator) since the beginning made me feel very comfortable and confident with the process by being very thorough and honest.
He explained in detail and was transparent about my expectations and questions.
From my arrival in Istanbul, everything was arranged perfectly the transfers - airport hotel hospital.
Doctor Ali was very professional knowledgeable and caring.
He took the time to explain everything clearly listen to my concerns and made me feel confident in the care I was receiving
I am currently three months post surgery and I have lost a total of 35 pounds.
I also received dental treatment (dental implants) with the same professionalism, dedication and care.

Erdem Hospital almost killed me
I had a “mummy makeover” (tummy tuck, breast implants, liposuction and BBL) at Erdem Hospital, Istanbul in April 2025 with Dr Ayse Kalay. It has been the worst decision of my life.
From the moment I came out of surgery, I was treated with cruelty and neglect. Nurses forced me to walk for “pain relief” after a 7-hour operation, even though I was clearly collapsing. One nurse yanked me out of bed so hard my IV ripped out. They gave me nothing but liquid paracetamol AFTER I had come out of surgery, I had to beg for more while my body was in septic shock.
I later discovered on my Turkish discharge papers that my lactate level was 6.1 – an extremely dangerous marker showing I was already in shock. My infection markers (NEU levels) were spiking, but nobody told me. Instead, they ignored the results, forced me to walk,( saying they won’t give me pain relief until I walk) and kept declaring me “fine.”
My heart rate was 141 bpm, yet they falsified my records and wrote me “fit to fly.” They left me to travel home barely able to stand. When I landed at Gatwick, I had to call 111 and had to stay on the phone giving my location until i got into hospital straight from Gatwick to the hospital in my friends car, where the NHS confirmed I had full-blown sepsis. My CRP was 496. I spent 2 months in hospital, had more surgery to drain infections, and had to relearn how to walk. Scans also showed fat had been injected near my sciatic nerve, leaving me in permanent pain. Just to confirm, dr ayes placed fat above inside and behind my GLUTE muscle
Other disgraceful treatment included:
• Nurses switching off my buzzer when I begged for water.
• My corset leaking yellow fluid – they took it away and didn’t bring a new one for 7 hours, then tried to sell me one for £100.
• Being pulled from my wheelchair and pulled into a taxi van, even though I couldn’t walk, I had to get a normal car taxi as it was too painful being pulled up.
The hospital looks modern, but behind the glossy Instagram posts is negligence that nearly cost me my life. Once they have your money, you are not treated like a patient, but like a product. ( this happened April 2024)

A wonderful experience that changed my life ❤️
Since the gastric sleeve surgery was scheduled, I received all the information I needed about this step I was about to take, at any time i asked questions.
From the consultant I scheduled the surgery with (Funda), the hospital staff , the translator who was provided to me (Gabriela) , and the nutritionist Mel who is still with me in this anytime I have any questions about postoperative nutrition , everyone was just wonderful.
Dr. Nadir Adnan Hacim was the doctor who performed the operation.
A wonderful man who has the ability to dispel all your fears and give you confidence that you have made the right decision and that everything will be fine.
