My plastic surgery experience with Erdem Hospitals was deeply disappointing. I was unhappy with the outcome and could not obtain a clear medical explanation afterwards. Communication was mainly handled by coordinators whose medical qualifications were never demonstrated.

The hospital said that a medical committee had reviewed my case, but it provided no written assessment or information about who participated. My refund request was initially rejected and was resolved only after I complained to the Ministry of Health and CİMER.

I would not choose Erdem Hospitals again for plastic surgery. International patients should verify their surgeon independently, request every condition in writing and retain all records. If the hospital does not address your concerns, contact SABİM 184, HBBS, the Provincial Health Directorate and CİMER

Disappointing Rhinoplasty Result and Aftercare

I underwent rhinoplasty at Erdem Hospital with Dr. Furkan in 2025. Unfortunately, I am dissatisfied with both the appearance and function of my nose following the procedure. In my opinion, my nose looks worse than before, and I have experienced difficulty breathing since the operation.

When I contacted the hospital about these concerns, I was told that the result was related to my anatomy. However, I was not offered a satisfactory medical plan or a clear solution. I was also disappointed by the lack of clarity regarding corrective treatment, revision options, and who would be responsible for any additional costs.

I would like to thank Ahmad from the Patient Experience department. He listened respectfully and genuinely tried to assist me. My criticism is not directed at him, but his efforts could not provide the medical solution I needed.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend rhinoplasty at Erdem Hospital. I encourage prospective patients to obtain a detailed assessment, discuss possible functional complications, and request the revision and aftercare policies in writing before undergoing surgery.

My Review

This has been, without question, the worst clinic and the worst experience I have ever had.

Around four years ago, I already had issues with this clinic. There were problems with my payment, and I felt I was treated with very little respect. Unfortunately, nothing has changed.

Recently, I had a problem with one of my crowns. I was initially told that it would be repaired at no cost. However, after I travelled back, I was informed that I had to pay €600 for a replacement crown instead. I accepted the cost because I wanted the issue resolved.

To make matters worse, the crown didn’t fit properly, meaning I had to return yet again. Whether this was the dentist’s mistake or the dental lab’s mistake, I don’t know—but as the patient, I was the one who had to deal with the inconvenience, extra time, and additional travel.

When I arrived for my appointment, I was told there was only one patient ahead of me. Then another patient was taken in before me. This level of disorganization and lack of respect for patients’ time is simply unacceptable.

Throughout this experience, I have felt like nothing more than a number. Once they have your money, there is no appreciation for you as a patient. The quality of the crowns has been disappointing, the communication has been poor, and the customer service has been disrespectful.

I am extremely disappointed with this clinic. Based on my experience, I would never return, and I would never recommend this clinic to anyone considering dental treatment here!

Professional private hospital. Erdem hospital 5 stars.

Ever since I started talking about breast implant surgery, it was clear to me that they are professionals and i did not have any problems. The surgery was really successful and i didn’t have pain. I recommend them 100%. Now I am 6 months post surgery and i fell great and my breasts are amazing.

My experience was great from start to finish, my surgeon Dr Gokhan Semerci was outstanding, his work is pristine and he is such a gentleman, you can just tell he takes pride in what he does, and if he doesn't think you need something he will tell you rather than just agreeing with you for the sake of it. I am 57 and had a breast reduction and lift and everything went really well. I done my research and so glad that I did. The aftercare from Aysegul was also a great experience, always available to ask questions and regular check ins. I want to also give thanks to the doctors nursing staff, especially the regular night shift lady who was so caring, helpful and was always there to cater for everyone's needs. I had a Septorhinoplasty with Dr. Mina Jahani, everything went very well and overall I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I am only about 2 weeks out but everything so far is going fine.

Pros:
- Transfer from Airport to Hospital and for appointments
- Great doctor (she doesn't have a huge number of years of experience but she did a really great job on my severely deviated septum).

Cons:
- Nurses don't speak English well (very manageable with translation apps).

what a shambles, do not use this company. they got me over there without looking at my x rays and when i got there i was charged £1000 to extract a tooth and wasted 4 days in turkey in the rain because they couldnt do the work due to infection which was clearly shown on xray i sent them, they also didnt advise of hotel where i was staying and dropped me at the airport 5 hours before my flight home the after care has been awful no one comes back to you ive now had to continue work elsewhere, DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE there practices are old and run down and equipment is dated, i left with a broken temp crown after 2 hours and they didnt do anything about it, they offered a refund and still 3 months later no response

I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr Mina Jahani. The whole experience from being picked up from the airport, to the surgery, to the hotel and finally the transfer back to the airport went perfectly! I could not be happier. The whole experience was fantastic. Dr Mina was lovely and she made me feel at ease straight away. I found the hospital to be nice and clean and I had no problems at all. I would definitely recommend Erdem hospital and Dr Mina Jahani to anyone looking to have surgery abroad.

I recently had an arm lift procedure at the hospital. I was very happy with the service i received. Dr Furqhan was very good. All members of the staff which was the nursing team, the caterers, the cleaner and the interpreters were all amazing. Everyone made sure I was well looked after. The interpreters do amazing work. They make sure you are helped and their english was very good. Yusra and Ameer were so helpful. Thank you everyone. I had my gastric bypass surgery at Erdem Hospital in June 2026 with Dr Nadir, and I’m really happy with how everything went.

Right from the first contact message last year right up until this year and time for procedure, my surgery consultant Caner guided my questions and gave realistic answers explaining why this was a better choice firstly to reduce the fat I had stored around my organs before initially contacting about a tummy tuck which much later will be a better result after this weight loss surgery.
The procedure is less invasive with a 4 2-3 cm scars and two hours to complete.

They were very reliable. They arranged my pickup from the airport to the hospital, and everything was smooth and well organised. When it was time to leave, they also took care of my hotel stay and transport back to the airport, which was really nice and stress-free.

From the start, the whole team was very professional and kind. They explained everything clearly before the surgery, which helped me feel calm and ready. Dr Nadir took his time to answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable and confident.

The staff at the hospital were also very helpful and well organised. They supported me through every step before the surgery.

The surgery went well, and the care after was even better than I expected. The nurses and medical team were always around, checking on me and making sure I was okay. I felt well taken care of during my recovery.

They also gave me clear guidance on what to eat and how to take care of myself after the surgery. I never felt confused or alone during the healing process.

I truly recommend Erdem Hospital and Dr Nadir to anyone thinking about gastric bypass surgery. They really care about their patients, and I’m very grateful for everything they did for me.

I had a great experience I was welcomed by amazing people nurses and my surgeon and translater were amazing I’m 10 days post op with no complications

I had a tummy tuck surgery at Erdem Hospital, but the result is a disaster. I was left with a massive amount of excess skin, and to make it worse, I developed a hernia as a post-operative complication. I have been trying to contact the international patient team for 6 months to get a solution, but they are completely ignoring my WhatsApp messages. Terrible surgical results and awful post-op care. They abandon patients once they have your money. Do not trust them!"

I was warmly welcomed on arrival where the receptionist explained what would happen that evening. Next morning I was introduced to my Surgeon and went through vigorous pre Op testing. The operation went brilliant and the after care has been amazing. My interpreter was lovely and on hand any moment something needed to be explained to me.I would highly recommend Erdem hospital. 5 stars from me 🙂

I recently had a gastric sleeve procedure at Erdem Hospital, and my experience from start to finish was exceptional.
A special thank you goes to my coordinator, Hafiz G.N., who was incredibly responsive, attentive, and prompt throughout the entire process. He organised everything so efficiently that I genuinely couldn’t have done it without him. Every question was answered quickly, and he made the whole experience stress-free.
The drivers were always on time, friendly, and professional, making all transfers seamless.
Yosra was absolutely amazing. She constantly checked in on me, was attentive to all my needs, helped with every enquiry I had, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. She also introduced me to the medical team and was always available whenever I needed assistance.
Dr Ali Solmaz was outstanding. He took the time to visit me before and after surgery, introduced himself personally, and gave me every opportunity to ask questions. His bedside manner is exceptional, and he immediately inspired confidence and reassurance.
I was also very impressed with how Erdem Hospital accommodated my husband. He was provided with a bed in my room, fully catered for, and treated with the same care and consideration that I received. This made a huge difference to both of us.
The nursing team were fantastic. They were caring, professional, and took the time to show us exactly how to self-administer blood thinner injections at home. There was always someone available 24 hours a day whenever we needed help or advice.
Mel my wonderful dietitian, created a plan for me, ensured I knew what I need to do and also her ongoing care is amazing.
The cleaners did an excellent job, and both the hospital and hotel were spotlessly clean throughout our stay.
I cannot recommend Erdem Hospital highly enough. Everything was organised smoothly, professionally, and with genuine care. The entire team went above and beyond to make this life-changing experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

After 7 months of research, I can honestly say choosing Dr Mina Jahani was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
