I had a rhinoplasty with Dr Mina. I am please with the results so far. I had 2 consultations with her. One via facetime organised by the consultant and another when I was in Turkey. The consultations were not very lengthy, she explained to me that would try her best as my nose was thick skinned, there were limitations. I got a great vibe from her and felt I could trust her. One month post op and I'm happy with the results, as the nose continues to take shape I like it more and more every week. No issues with the nurses, consultant, translators. The hospital itself was clean and felt comfortable. There hospitality was great, they did not rush me to leave. The hotel was amazing, transfers were all on time and clean vehicles. The issue why I have not given 5 stars is due to the poor aftercare. It seems there hardly is any aftercare. I asked them will my surgeon see me again, how will you see if I'm healing well and was given quite a generic reply and I do not feel comfortable asking questions to the aftercare team as they don't seem very bothered and did not ask me anything. I still have no received my receipt from the finance department after asking 4 times, but have finally received my insurance paperwork. I would say if the aftercare was better I would highly recommend my family to this hospital because Dr Mina is a great surgeon. However I feel this way because thankfully my surgery is going well so far.. If this was not the case I don't feel the aftercare would be much help. In terms of healing, I'm in the dark and hopefully it continues to goes well.

I had gastric bypass surgery at Erdem Hospital in May 2026 under the care of Prof Dr Ali Solmaz, and I could not be happier with my experience. From the very beginning, the level of professionalism, kindness, and medical expertise shown by the entire team was outstanding.

The pre-operative care was exceptional. Every step of the process was explained clearly, which helped me feel informed, comfortable, and confident before surgery. Prof Dr Ali Solmaz took the time to answer all my questions with patience and reassurance, demonstrating great knowledge and genuine care for his patients. The hospital staff were also incredibly supportive, organised, and attentive throughout all consultations and preparations.

The surgery itself went smoothly, and the post-operative care exceeded my expectations. The nurses and medical team were always available, attentive, and compassionate, ensuring I felt comfortable during recovery. Follow-up care was excellent, with clear guidance on nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle adjustments after gastric bypass surgery. I always felt supported and never alone during the healing process.

I highly recommend Erdem Hospital and Prof Dr Ali Solmaz to anyone considering gastric bypass surgery. The combination of expert medical care, excellent communication, and genuine patient support made a significant difference to my journey. I am extremely grateful for the care I received and would confidently recommend them to others considering bariatric surgery.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience with your hospital and medical coordination team.

Before travelling from London for my surgery, I clearly communicated that I did not require a Romanian translator and that I wanted all communication to be in English. Despite informing your team and requesting this again the following day, the issue was never resolved properly. This caused unnecessary discomfort and confusion during an already stressful medical experience.

In addition, I travelled together with my sister and informed your staff in advance that we wished to stay in the same hospital and hotel arrangements. Unfortunately, this request was also not respected or organised as promised.

I am also very dissatisfied with the handling of the post-operative medication. I was asked to pay 100 euros for medication which, from my understanding, was not even the medication recommended by the doctor. This made me feel that I was being charged unnecessarily without proper medical explanation or transparency.

Overall, I feel disappointed with the level of communication, organisation, and professionalism provided during my treatment process. As an international patient travelling from London, I expected much better care and coordination.

I would appreciate a formal response regarding these issues and clarification on why my requests and concerns were repeatedly ignored.

Had a great experience with erdem. From the translators to the drivers to the surgeon dr. Furkan. Everyone was very professional and helped along the way

Two months ago I had a Mommy Makeover (360 liposuction, fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty, mastopexy, and liposuction with a lift of the mons pubis), and I truly mean it—I couldn’t be happier with the results. I am so grateful to have Mel as my dietician! I had my gastric sleeve surgery, and her support during this journey has been incredible.

Be careful with Erdem Hospital and Dr. Bilgehan Ilker. Surgical fraud (Lipo 360 paid but not performed, no incisions) and fat necrosis confirmed by ultrasound. They also use illegal payment methods (Bizum/Western Union) to staff relatives in Spain.

I went in May 2025 for liposuction, a tummy tuck, breast reconstruction, and a BBL. I had to return a second time—not by choice, but because she gave me a guarantee for a second liposuction if the first one wasn't done correctly. And that’s exactly what happened.
Furthermore, due to the breast reconstruction and poorly placed stitches, I now have fat necrosis in my breast. I returned because I had excess skin on my other breast, which she removed in her own consultation room using a scalpel without proper anesthesia.
They handle illegal payments, which I have already reported in both Spain and Turkey. I paid for procedures that were not done right; during the second surgery, she didn't do any liposuction at all, and I still have fatty tissue in my upper abdomen.
Be very careful with ERDEM HOSPITAL and DR. BILGEHAN İLKER.

I had full face lift/neck and Bleph when in Istanbul at Erdem Hospital and my surgeon was Dr Kador Tasasiz. The care was brilliant and the language no barrier. The Drs assistant and the translator given to us were lovely :) . It is a serious operation and is treated as such, I would not hesitate to go again as my results were 10 out of 10..I waited till was fully healed and could give an accurate review. They contacted me again yesterday to ensure all was healed well. THIS is a credited hospital with in house staff that have been there for years.

Its was my first experience with this hospital.. i feel so safe when i went in hospital as i feel familiar with staff and everyone.. I underwent Gastric Sleeve surgery on 19 March 2026 at ARDEM Hospital in Istanbul under the care of Dr Adnan, and I could not have asked for a better experience. I had long struggled with high blood pressure and rising blood sugar levels, and this surgery was a crucial step for my health.

From the moment I arrived, everything was organised flawlessly. Ahmed, the medical consultant, arranged all logistics from the UK, including airport transfers and hospital admission. Pre‑operative tests were completed immediately, and the surgery took place the next morning.

Dr Adnan demonstrated exceptional expertise in bariatric surgery. He explained the procedure clearly, answered all my questions, and provided reassurance throughout. The operation went extremely well, and he personally checked on me as soon as I woke up.

His combination of surgical skill, professionalism, and genuine empathy made a significant difference to my recovery. I was discharged after four days and transported back to the airport with the same level of care.

I highly recommend Dr Adnan and Ahmed for anyone seeking safe, well‑coordinated, and compassionate bariatric treatment.

All the staff were amazing. Super friendly and comforting , especially when travelling so far to a foreign country.
