I loved the questions, they were very easy to answer, relevant and made sense. My only concern was the middle button as in if i choose would that affect the score etc so wasn't very clear scorewise w... See more

Terrible experience — unauthorized charges and poor customer service
I am extremely dissatisfied with EQ Academy. They charged me £0.49 just to see the result of a test and informed me that if I didn’t cancel within 3 days, I would be charged £39.99 per month.
I cancelled my subscription well within those 3 days, but they still charged my account. After many emails and complaints, they refunded only a part of the money they took without my consent — and then, unbelievably, they charged me the same amount again this month, even though they had confirmed that my subscription was cancelled.
This is a scammy and frustrating experience. Be very careful — they keep charging you despite cancellations and provide poor excuses instead of real help. I absolutely do not recommend this service to anyone.
Absolute rogues and liars
As everyone else has been saying, they offer a 0.99c report then begin charging you $59.99 a month without you going through the subscription process. I've pointed this out with screen images etc. and even tried to cancel my supposed subscription to be told "we don't have a record of that user address".
I then contacted them again (with numerous follow ups) to ask how am I being charged for a subscription that I didn't agree to, and then be told I don't have a subscription at the same time?
Once I did that, they have just ignored four or five attempts to get a response.
The fact an organisation supposedly involved in emotional intelligence acts likes this is an ironic disgrace.
Thorough questions and easy to answer.
Never trust this company
They ask you to confirm many boxes to continue with your test. And whilst doing this, they hide a subscription confirmation and charge you £40!!! If you do not cancel this they will charge you even though they make an account for you instead of letting you create one yourself, and notify you in a small email that looks purely like confirmation for your test. They thrive on scamming people, and I don’t blame them because their services are just as shabby as their policy. The company is run by people who don’t want honest money, looking to take from people who provide them. If you cancel this subscription, even the same day the charge is made, they will not refund you as their policy is stingy and obviously protects themselves from having to rightfully give money back, which they are incapable of doing. A business ran purely to pickpocket people online; it’s disgusting.
Clear questions.
Be careful of the 5 star reviews
Be careful of the 5 star reviews, they do sound suspiciously similar.
Yes the questions are many, so you keep going.
Even though it says free, the last page is the checkout wanting 99cents and stating more after a few days.
I had already put my email against my better judgement but closed the checkout, didnt pay.
No the results never came through as I didnt pay.
I expect soon Ill get slammed in spam emails.
Ive been scammed like this before, they send you a reminder at some ungodly hour of the morning and probably a sunday when your not checking emails and WALLA they deduct from your account.
You signed up and agreed in the beginning and didnt respond to the reminder email....

Well thought of questions
I would give zero stars but no option
I would give zero stars but no option. If only I had have checked the reviews first!!!!
complete and utter thieves....Like everyone else mentioned they charge you .49p and then unexpectedly take £39.99 for a monthly subscription that they obviously hide from you very well. In my opinion they are no different than thieves who mug you in the back streets ,they are just doing it cleverly....but theft all the same...don't go near them
If I could put zero stars I would do
If I could put zero stars I would do. Appalling company with absolutely no morals - I paid £0.40 to complete one online test, only to find out a week later £40 had been taken from my account and I had apparently subscribed to an annual membership.. I went through the T&Cs in the barrage of unnecessary documents I received when signing up to complete one test, and low and behold, hidden in small print is I had been automatically enrolled into the £40 monthly subscription.. It's an absolute CON of a company that I'd avoid like the plague. I requested a refund and was completely ignored in my follow-up emails. As I have said - avoid at all costs, they're just trying to trick you into signing up to the monthly subscription to pay their overheads.
Clear questions
BEWARE - MISLEADING CHARGES
BEWARE: Like others, I was led to believe that I was only required to pay £0.49 for a personality report. However, I have since discovered that I have been charged £39.99 for a subscription I was not made aware of at the time of purchase.
This is clearly misleading and unacceptable. I did not enrol on any program nor sign up for any subscription and only intended to pay for the personality test, for which I agreed. The website has no direct contact details, (a requirement for UK trading), no address. no phone number, only an online contact form that, at the time of writing, doesn't work. I will be discussing the payment with my bank to dispute the misleading charge.
UPDATE: I have had a reply from EQ with an email contact. Curiously they point out that this contact email is on their 'Terms & Conditions' page which, if you view the links on the home page, the T&C link doesn't exist! - more of the same. I will update further if I hear from them.
