The group class is so bad, the students level are not the same, and it just a waste of time.

I had a very disappointing experience with EF SET, mainly due to their outrageous and restrictive cancellation policy.
If you decide to cancel within 90 days of subscribing, you’re required to pay a cancellation fee of $477 for a subscription that costs only $159. That’s more than double the original price, which feels excessive and unreasonable. What’s worse is that if you miss this 90-day window, cancellation is no longer possible at all-you’re locked into the full contract period whether you like the service or not.
On top of that, they only offer a 2-week no fee cancellation period, which is simply not enough time to properly evaluate whether the program meets your needs or delivers real improvement. Plus their marketing team makes sure not to tell you these things because it would drive people away and they only include it in a lengthy "terms and conditions" clause because they know people would mostly fail to read them.

As for the learning experience itself, I found the teaching approach to lack structure and depth, especially for someone who already has a higher level of English and is looking to refine their skills. It didn’t feel engaging or particularly effective, which is why I stopped joining classes and requested for a cancellation, at which time they told me of their unfair cancellation policy.
Overall, I would strongly advise others to carefully read the terms before subscribing, as the financial commitment and cancellation terms are far more rigid than expected. If you don't want to be stuck paying for a service you don't need, avoid getting into business with them to begin with.

I love to have the opportunity to study English any time. Besides grupal and particular clases are great.

The group classes are very poor, as you hardly get any opportunity to participate and there is little to no interaction encouraged. Additionally, there are different teachers every day, which makes it difficult to maintain a consistent learning pace.

As for the private lessons, the quality of the teachers is quite disappointing, and it is very hard to have the same teacher consistently. This lack of continuity negatively affects the overall learning experience and progress.

I enrolled in this course last year and paid in full for a one year plan. Unfortunately, due to serious family health issues, I was unable to use the platform as intended. I did not complete the first module and only attended one private lesson.
What makes this situation worse is that shortly after starting the course, I attempted to cancel. I was told that cancellation was not possible without paying a significant penalty. No option to pause the course, extend access, or any reasonable alternative was offered at that time.
Now, after trying again to resolve this matter, I was informed that in order to access the lessons I have already paid for ( $1,512 ) but I barely used it, I would be required to purchase an additional 12 month subscription. This is not only unreasonable, but also highly concerning.
Conditioning access to previously paid services on the purchase of a new contract raises serious concerns about unfair and potentially deceptive business practices under principles enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
In most reputable companies, situations involving hardship are handled with flexibility and basic fairness. That was not the case here.
Due to the lack of a reasonable resolution, I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and I am prepared to pursue this matter further if necessary.
I am simply requesting a fair solution, such as access of my original plan and a little extension for just one month.
Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this company. Consumers should be aware of these rigid and customer-unfriendly policies before committing.
