Replaced broken light bulb

We had trouble finding the right replacement lightbulbs until we found Energy Saving Online. We needed six and ordered six. Very quick delivery and well packed. Despite being well packed one was broken. I emailed the company and received a response within an hour. Maria emailed back with apologies and asked for a picture of the broken bulb. A picture was sent and a replacement bulb was put in the post to us. Replacement bulb received, thank you Maria.
Due to their excellent service this will be our go to place for future light bulbs.

Delivered in double-quick time and the one failed bulb was sorted in a very friendly and efficient manner. Thoroughly recommended.

Faulty Products

Unfortunatly, the 7W PRO LED GX53 Bulbs are pretty useless to say the leased!, when you try and fit the bulb into its location they will not illuminate without a slight turn in the fitting. This then makes the light flicker on and off, as the 2 lugs on the base of the lamp does not make proper connection.
When I try to call your company, it is quite obvious that you do not want to be contacted as there is no phone number available. Having no contact phone number relying on your customers to email only is extremaly bad customer service! Therefore please call me to resovle this issue on 07785224133

Hi Alan, I am so sorry that it appears that you have an issue with the GX53 light bulbs (These are premium V-TAC versions and are high quality and we did test them before shipping and all 4 worked fine), however from what you have mentioned above this sounds like the fitting needs replacement or adjusting as this is a very common issue with GX53 fittings.

I am so sorry to see that you have left us a 1 Star review we have only just seen this so please accept our apologies for not replying to it sooner.

We are a small family run business and try to offer a personal and very informative and helpful service.

With regards to your order, you contacted us with regards to purchasing a halogen G6.35 light bulb which we unfortunately were out of stock, and these halogen versions have been discontinued by the manufacturer due to Energy Saving regulations regarding halogen light bulbs. However despite this a member of our staff (Maria) requested a search of our warehouse to check to see if they could find any and we did manage to find one, a longer life GY6.35 version. Which we let you know we had found and you made the purchase. You then contacted us (on the Tuesday) to let us know that we had sent you a GY6.35 instead of a G6.35 and that it had slightly thicker pins and we let you know that these could still fit your fitting (GY6.35 light bulbs were often used in fittings as they have less arching issues due to the thicker pins and thus lasted longer) and if not we would be happy to issue you a full refund.

We then refunded you for the purchase on the day you contacted us, as we had not heard back from you to let us know if the GY6.35 light bulb fitted or not so we decided to refunded you on the Tuesday evening, so this should then have shown on your card statement on the Wednesday or Thursday depending on the card company you used) and the next morning (Wednesday) my colleague Maria also sent you an email with the details of a competitor that she had found to have the exact light bulb you wanted still in stock (at this time you then left us your 1 Star review). Maria also as a really nice gesture (on the Thursday) managed to source 2 x G6.35 light bulbs from one of our engineers who had some spare and she sent you these 2 free of charge (Which arrived with you on Friday). So we certainly did not do anything for a sale. We just tried to help and even refunded your original order (£3.68 inc delivery) and also managed to source 2 exact 35W G6.35 that you required and sent these to you free of charge.

All we have done is try to help you, and even sent you 2 of the light bulbs you required once we had managed to find someone with them free of charge. We have certainly not said anything to just get a sale, in fact we have done the complete opposite. However I really am sorry that you feel this way, I am not sure why you do but I wish you all the very best and hope the 2 light bulbs we sent you free of charge give you years of use with your light fitting.

Outstanding Customer Service

Outstanding Customer Service.

Having purchased a light fitting (at a very competitive price), I needed some further guidance regarding fitting. With no phone number on their invoice or website, I was somewhat sceptical when I emailed them . I was very pleasantly surprised to receive an almost immediate response, with some very helpful information and guidance.

Buy from this UK company with the confidence of outstanding levels of customer service.

good prices and fantastic customer service

I bought some security lights from energysavingonline. They offered the best price I could find anywhere on the internet. When the lighting arrived one of the lights was damaged. At this point I realised there was no phone number on their website that I could use to contact them, only an email address. That made me doubt I would get much of a response. So I emailed them and was amazed when they replied within minutes asking for photos of the damage. When I sent the photos, again I got an immediate reply saying they would send me a replacement straight away, free of charge, and that there was no need to return the damaged item. Not only that, because I was going away and didn't want the parcel arriving in my absence, they agreed to delay sending it until a specific date, which they duly did. It is really rare to get such fantastic customer service and I wanted to let other people know about them, even though reviewing companies is something I very rarely do!
