IMPEX Japan Int ship is SUS

IMPEX Japan can ultimately swindle your shipping charges to whatever they can fabricate. They make additional payment schemes, do not provide help with quotes and or manufacturer dimensions for an estimator. I was charged double/triple for a grille sent from Subaru Jp. Once they received item they overtaxed and did absolutely nothing to the original package that they claimed but provided a sticker. Terrible employee network

perfect to deal with

I ordered a helmet hanger for my motorbike from impex as a test, especially after reading some of the reviews from reddit and trustpilot, and I couldn't be happier with the process.

After placing my order it was a seamless process and once receiving notification that the part had arrived in their warehouse, I paid for the shipping and the item arrived in about 1 week to New Zealand.

I had absolutely no issues and I will be using them again for any more parts that I require for my motorbike

Only use if desperate - bureaucracy gone mad

This has been a dreadful experience for me. The systems used by Impex are truly antiquated and while the staff are very pleasant my experience has been a 6-week process and package is still not posted, 3 separate payments and a sleuth of emails.
Steps below:
3 parts ordered - 28 June - none in stock (should be shown as unavailable), 1 with out-of-date part no and 1 with old price, all of which should be updated to live status.
These issues took multiple days to resolve and eventually the package was ready. The parts coming from a 3rd party took 8 business days to arrive. Postage needed to be re-estimated. Then packing and a revised postage cost due to actual weight of package. These have resulted in a 3rd payment by me. I cancelled one item on the way through as the price had gone up so much. Every step takes 2-3 days to process and here I sit waiting for the actual package to be posted and we're into the 6th week of awaiting a critical part for my boat engine.
Of course they refused to publish my review ( this one) and finally the status was changed overnight to posted ( of course, no accompanying email with tracking number).
Only use if desperate.

Don’t do it

Don’t do it, poor customer service, never ending delays, failure to meet their own expected deadline timings, nowhere near a Japanese company. If you don’t care how long it takes to receive a part and are willing to wait until never, never then go ahead and use them, if not, do not order, there are similar companies who I have placed many orders with who work very well.

I think just a means of getting data. Parts found in search but one has to register to get a quote. Register and upon asking for quote they say unable to quote. Waste of time, scam are the word that pop into my mind

Ordered some expensive Toyota Coaster…

Ordered some expensive Toyota Coaster parts from Impex Japan and was very happy with the price , customer service, communication and express freight to Australia. The purchasing process is a bit unusual but was all above board and turned out well in the end. I will definitely use their services again to shop directly from Japan for oem parts.

I ordered an auto part from IMPEX

I ordered an auto part from IMPEX. They said it was in stock and required payment. I paid. Then IMPEX said "order cancelled, please reorder" OK, maybe they did not have it. Re-ordered. Same thing again. I have paid them twice for this item. they also charged me an additional sum for an unknown reason. I requested a refund for the money they already had received from me. They refused a refund. After a few days, they wrote to say the part was in stock and would I pay again. I would not, and again requested a refund. They have refused. These transactions took place over the past month: Jan-Feb 2024The IMPEX communications came from (Not-a-Japanese name), Executive Director.
As far as I am concerned, IMPEX is a fraud.

I have since ordered same part from another company in Japan. I had bought from them previously and have received excellent service, excellent communication, and parts were received very quickly. That company is jp-carparts.com

Anjoize- Do not buy

Impex or ‘Anjoize’
Do not buy from this company cheap rip off half product received and 100 percent not as advertised in any shape or form. Took over 4 weeks to arrive. Supposedly uk company but shipped from China.

These people are HOPELESS, Do not bother with them because after you have made yr order AND paid for it you will discover the parts are not available. Even tho they say they in stock. Rubbish

I have used Impex Japan for many many…

I have used Impex Japan for many many years and always been a little put off by the way their system works but generally ended up getting what i needed, well most of the time! In the past two to three years the experience has gotten worse and worse to i finally pulled the pin on there scams today. I have finally had a enough of their tricks and scams. Be very careful using this mob because they love taking your money straight up front but then everything after that just becomes a headache. Disgusting service. Poor customer service, Ripoff shipping charges. Trust me, it really isn't worth the headache.

Intelligent and elaborate scam

This website is an elaborate scam. Let me explain. They will advertise a certain part on the website at a certain price. They tell you that you must make a purchase first and the shipping will be determined LATER and if you don't like the shipping price you will be charged a fee to cancel your order. They have a "shipping calculator" tool online which is NEVER what they charge. So the scam goes like this, you buy a product and pay for it. One week later you are told the prices have changed and now it costs a little bit more, you pay the difference, two more weeks go by and you are told that now the part is available (in stock) and that you must pay the shipping fees, you are quoted a very modest amount and you happily pay for it. One more week goes by and at this point you are over a month in, made 3 payments but have nothing to show for it. Now they come back to you and say the shipping is going to cost more. Almost always more than the cost of the parts itself. You're shocked but you're already so deep in that you are left with no choice but to pay up. If you try contacting them, good luck. They don't speak English and when they do try to reply, they sound condescending. It is not run by Japanese but rather some European people. After all said and done you paid the same or more than what you pay at the dealership but you get nothing. 2 months in with $600 paid and I have yet to receive even a tracking number. I will be filing a dispute with PayPal. Stay far away from these guys. Also, they work at snails speed. It's just a bunch of European tissues who decided to stay and became lazy middle men for auto parts.

I have had £40 charges from this…

I have had £40 delivery charges from all Dr Fox orders. Check who sends, it is sent to the Royal Mail which uses Impex & it was delivered 5 days late. This makes it cheaper to buy from Boots. Dr Fox have contested this but the Impex charge is on my bank records. Do not use.

Just awful

These guys suddenly doubled the shipping cost. 40+ euros for a few plastic bushings! And then they started charging me for storing these bushings!

Order canceled and fees applied for refunding…

I have ordered a part for a Honda VFR which was available on the site. The order of about 300€ was canceled the next day, because the part was no more available. I had to ask after more than one week for refund, and Impex applied a fee for Paypal payment of 20€. As a customer, I do not have to support the inconsequence of their site and ordering system.

Disappointing service

Disappointing service. After ordering received new message saying there was an increase in postage costs. Wanted more than double original shipping quote to send. Parcel weight has been overestimated when I weighed the parcel myself. Dishonest practice which judging by Google reviews seems a common occurrence. Proceed with caution if you intend to buy from the company.

I ordered on the 14 Feb 2023 and paid immediate full amount and a day later 15 Feb 2023 ordered that I have to pay more which I paid with proof that it did credited their account. now 02 March 2023 still NO indication that anything going to reach me ever since.
Extremely poor for a organisation that sell TOP name bike parts.
