The shoe style is original with its square toe. The color I purchased (turquoise) is beautiful, and the shoes are comfortable.

I received an email on 9/29 stating order had shipped. YET to date, the tracking shows merchandise still in China and states “Awaiting seller dispatch” which means the order is still in the seller's hands and not yet with the shipping carrier. Upon further research, it appears that about 80% of their reviews on TrustPilot are unverified. Of the 655 reviews, only 234 are verified. According to TrustPilot they have detected that this company may be asking for reviews in a way that they do not support. It feels like a scam, so I cancelled order on 10/13 but as of 10/16, no one has acknowledged my cancellation, no refund has been issued and no product has been received.

Response is great. Shipping is costly to return items so costs a lot to try the shoes if you don't live in the US.

Lovely shoes and as comfortable as promised. Delivery was prompt and using the website a breeze.

I ordered the Hero Loafer in wine. These are such beautiful and beautifully crafted shoes. The purchase process was seamless. No worries at all with international purchase process, including customs. I absolutely love my new loafers. Haven't had a lot of time with them, but I've spent a day on my feet presenting at a meeting. This bodes well!

Extremely responsive customer service. But not forgetting the shoes - the most comfortable shoes ever. The square toed flats (of which I have maybe 4 pairs) have seen me through long flights and very long walks - I find them more comfortable than trainers or walking shoes.

Comfortable shoes and socks (the only low/no show sock that stay on my feet. Empress has been incredibly easy to order from. And they have excellent customer service. One of the purchases I made, I had an issue that was no fault of theirs. They went above and beyond to help me sort it out. All of my orders have arrived in a timely fashion.

The shoes were delivered in a timely fashion and the sizing was accurate to what I normally wear. The quality and comfort of the shoes is so good and worth the money. My goodness the leather is like buttah! They are super cute and stylish to boot!

I had a lot of problem on my feet. Empress shoes can fit me well especially there are more options to choose. I found that the shoes with some inches are even better than the flat. I just got my 4 pairs of Empress.

To be honest - I have never paid as much for a pair of shoes as I have for Empress flats, and even then I purchased only on sales. But I have bought the flats (and one with the greater heel) for the large toebox to fit my wide foot and developing bunions and arthritic toe bones, as well as putting orthotics in them.. Mind you, each pair seems to have a different "give" in the shoe, or stretch - and though understandable, the latest purchase - the "paten-like" shoes -are the least giving. My feet also are growing past the flexibility and need more structure. Still - I am surprised at how much I have spent in you - but mostly glad I did.

The shoes arrived in substantial boxes and included the special bags to keep them clean and help with travel. They are very comfortable and the quality is exceptional. Your attention detail was appreciated. Since I don’t like to wear shoes without socks/hose, I ordered a pair on your website. They did show in one of the pair I ordered, but it may be because I have slender feet with bunions from wearing heels when teaching for so many years.
