The booking process was very easy to fulfil, but I didn't find it clear that eMop was connecting cleaners and customers, I only understood that it wasn't their own cleaners only once the booking has been confirmed. I booked for an end of tenancy cleaning, and I was disappointed by the job done. Fortunately I was there at the end to spot the things missing, but a lot was missing : cobwebs in all the corners, windows barely cleaned, bins not even wiped, there was a few drops of wax on a table that I had to remove myself. It didn't feel like a end of tenancy cleaning, I expected a detailed clean and in my opinion it was just a regular clean. I don't think I would recommend eMop.

We booked Emop for our spring clean service. I first saw countless of 1 start reviews here but I thought as the overall score is good, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt.
As a mother of two young kids, I only manage a superficial clean but never get to properly deep clean.
So we thought getting someone to come in and do it for us would be easier. We booked a cleaner for 6 hours including services such as kitchen cupboards from inside, fridge, windows from inside etc.
The cleaner was 20 minutes late to start with, which I didn’t mind in particular but some ppl might.
She arrived and she was very lovely, not a bad word about that. Friendly and nice and got to work straight away.
We left the house and when we returned she asked if we were happy with the service. At first glance house seemed cleaner. Not a wow effect, I must be honest, but I thought ok 6 hours of cleaning is definitely more than I can do at this point.
It was only the next day when I started actually noticing things. Cupboards were done hit and miss, one section done, the next not even touched. Fridge she said she cleaned , but I had leaky old cucumber all over it not touched with shelves all dirty.
Microwave had dirt in the ceiling, skirting boards untouched, limescale all over the sinks and baths, it was just wiped over, not actually washed and cleaned. Floors dirty under the table (chairs not moved) etc etc. you get the point.
The more I looked around the more I saw the quality of the clean and how superficial it was. I booked and paid for someone to help me deep clean the house as I’m unable to do that with kids, and what I got was more of a superficial clean that I can do myself.
I only give 2 starts because the lady herself was lovely. Sadly the end result wasn’t.

Had a fantastic experience with emop. I called them the first time for kitchen and downstairs one off clean up and Percy was a star! He was very professional and efficient. All work was done upto to mark and thoroughly put effort in! I would definitely call Percy again in the future.

Do not use. The cleaner spilt bleach on my fitted carpet, dressing gown and pillow case leaving them irreparably damaged (colour completely bleached out in long streak). The cleaner who turned up was also not the person shown on the app as supposed to be doing the job which makes me feel unsafe as to who was in my home and what if any checks had been done on him. I have raised my concerns with Emop directly but they do not respond. It has now been nearly 2 months since the incident.

Do not use this company, I booked about 7 days ago for a clean today plus carpet clean. The carpet clean was cancelled yesterday as there was no one available, which I accepted. Now within 3 hours of the expected clean they have cancelled that for the same reason. Not reliable at all and a very big let down.

Stay away from this company. They have the worst cleaners ever and then charge you to pay extra for their best. I’ve just had my home cleaned and feel like I am going to hire someone else to come tomorrow. The worst cleaning I’ve ever had

Lovely company to work, I started working with emop cleaning company for the past 4 months and the customer service team Nizam was very listening and responsive to messages and calls

Do not use this service. They just charge you high prices to sit around and do nothing. I was charged for a 7 hour clean and came to flat with dirt in every corner and surfaces not dusted. Yet they refused to refund me appropriately.
Go directly to individual cleaners who will give you better value for money.

The service was booked quickly and somebody did pick up the job.
However, the job was not good (pretty average - the floor for example had obvious cake stains). The cleaner was remarkably slow if you take into account that the house was all ready, sorted out to be cleaned. No beds to be made, no dishes to be washed, no items on the floor to be tidied up.
I also offered some coffee and some cake to the cleaner half-way through the job. The cleaner who finished the job 5 earlier, stayed for 10 minutes longer to finish his cake and use the loo.
And e-mop CHARGED for the extra 5 minutes that the cleaner used the loo. It's not the amount of course they charged, but the principle that they would charge for the extra 5 minutes regardless of what the reason for the delay was.

So many issues!
- cleaner was watching videos on her phone, which i thought was fine as long as she got the job done- then i got charged later as the cleaning took extra time!
- cleaner broke our hoover and despite numerous attempts to contact customer support about this was given no help or compensation
- cleaning was superficial, not thorough enough at all for the time and money

I would advise avoiding this company. The cleaner arrived late, making me late for important appointments, did not end up doing the job, then the company tried to blame it on me and take money for a job that has not been done. This is appalling service. Avoid like the plague.

Having booked a cleaner a week ago the time of booking arrives and I receive a text from the cleaner saying she will be 30 mins late. In turn making me late for work. I called the company and they couldn't have cared less and i was told "cleaners are allowed to be late" Unacceptable customer service - dont even think about wasting your time in their in app live chat. Avoid this company - there are better out that who actually care about inconveniencing their paying customers.

Absolutely AWFUL. They damaged my wood worktop. I requested that no bleach is used , they left 2 black marks on my worktop. I provided photos with time stamps clearly showing that it was damaged during the cleaning and they refused to pay for the repair.
They also tried to overcharge for their time by an hour. DO NOT BOOK!
