Customer service slow to respond but good
Induction hob NikolaTesla Fit arrived and the touch display was not working. Getting in contact with the customer service in Portugal was not easy, but once I succeeded the contact was very nice and professional and the problem was resolved within a week.

Hi Kamila, glad the rest is working well for you. On the filter though, "doesn't work well" can mean a lot of things: wrong reference for your hood, saturation faster than expected, fitting issue. Head to elica.com in the Contact Us section (or Shop Support in the footer) and tell us your hood model and what you're noticing: our team will help you figure out what's really going on.

Abysmal Cooker hood
Abysmal Cooker hood. Was so expensive aswell, £289 for a 50cm cooker hood. Crap. All it does it create turbulance rather than suck air out. Smells of fish, cheese, pork etc, linger for hours.
Disgraceful charging that for a product you only know is crap once you've installed it. Hope the company goes under.
Love the response, If in doubt blame the customer 😂

However, we would like to point out that, in the vast majority of cases, suction performance that is perceived as insufficient is not due to the product itself, but to incorrect installation. Factors such as:
excessive size or length of the exhaust pipe
the presence of unsuitable bends
incorrect hole diameter
incorrect configuration between the filter and extraction versions
can significantly affect the hood’s performance, causing issues such as turbulence or poor odour extraction.
We therefore recommend that you have the installation checked by a qualified technician or our authorised service centre, so as to identify any faults and restore the product to correct working order.

Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. Extractor Hood stopped working after less than 5 years.
Contacted Elica and after chasing them twice they got back to me after 2 weeks and told me to call a UK number (I'm in Ireland).
Contacted the UK number. They gave me the Irish contact number.
Contacted the Irish contact number.
They told me to contact a local partner.
Contacted local partner. They only call out to my area (20 minutes outside Dublin) when they have enough business to do so.
So this will likely never be taken care of.
Absolutely pathetic.

I called Gowan Homes again and they were not able to provide a solution and basically said "you'll have to wait for Appliance Fix to call out.

Good 5 year guarantee, happy with the product but took some time to enter the registration of product - had problems to register before finally succeeded (got error code 403 forbidden many, many times before success)

The product was not properly packaged and so was damaged (bent) in transit. This is the second time this has happened :(

Very hard to find the filters for my extractor fan in Republic of Ireland. Would be a lot more convenient to be able to just buy them on a shop locally but this company is fast for shipping and arrived well packaged.
