Mohamed was an amazing guide; His knowledge of Egypt and Egyptology is massive. The tour exceeded my expectations it was very informative, fun and very enjoyable. Couldn't have ask for a better tour guide.

Where to start? What to say? Loved it! Awesome! Fantastic! Egypt Encompassed - our trip had it all. Experiences and views by sunrise & sunset; on train, plane, automobile and even a hot air balloon. Plus the history of Ancient Egypt brought alive with detailed and thorough storytelling with laughs by our "ninja squirrel" tour leader. (We later found out that what we had mistaken as ninja squirrels in the hieroglyphics was an owl which is befitting of our tour leader, Mohamed. Ancient Egyptians honored the owl as it protected humans as they passed from this world into the spirit world after death. This Australian appreciated the care, wit, detail and thoughtfulness brought to guiding us and sharing his homeland of pyramids, temples, tombs, mummies, obelisks and even the modern). My favourite memories are of the synchronised chaos of driving in Cairo and the fun and laughs with the group. Egypt is phenomenal. Seeing is believing while still having those pinch me moments. Thank you. I cannot recommend this experience enough - go, you will not be disappointed!

Mohamed made my tour of Egypt an experience I’ll never forget. His knowledge of and passion for the history of his country is amazing. He truly cares about his tour groups and makes sure that everyone has a great time. I’d recommend this company to anyone travelling to Egypt.

WOW! Egypt is amazing! I was really intrigued by the history and culture of Egypt and the Egypt Encompassed tour did not disappoint. As beautiful as I imagined the pyramids, temples and sites to be, they were breathtaking in person. Queen Nefertari's tomb is not to be missed. The sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings was another of many highlights. Egypt Encompassed offered a great balance between travel, sightseeing and lazy days. The Nile Cruise was an opportunity to slow down a bit and enjoy the scenery. This tour was elevated to the next level by our amazing guide Mohammad. His knowledge and passion for his country was infectious. He was as excited about what we were seeing as we were. He managed our early starts to beat the crowds, heat and spend more time exploring the sites. His personality mixed well with the group and he was fun to be around. This Egyptian tour was so exhilarating that I came home wanting to know more.
If Egypt wasn't exciting enough I continued on to Jordan. My goal was to see the ' Treasury' in Petra but was surprised at what else Jordan had to offer. Wadi Rum was just beautiful. The Bedouin family were so friendly and accommodating. The desert camp was very comfortable- not camping.
I felt safe, welcomed and in awe of these countries.
Egypt Encompassed will not disappoint!

I just completed a 12 day trip with Egypt Encompass and can highly recommend it, 10 out 10 experience. Life long memories and friends created.
There was a perfect amount of time to explore and learn at each attraction.

Mohamed is by far the best tour guide you could wish for. His knowledge of Egypt and Egyptology is massive, and he loves to share his love for his country. You can't go wrong with Mohamed.

My husband and I toured Egypt with Mohamed and it was the best tour we have ever taken. Mohamed is knowledgable, professional and has a wonderful sense of humor. We had full busy days traveling through Egypt seeing the highlights of this wondrous country. Our hotels were beautiful, transportation and drivers on time and the food delicious. I hope to go back and travel with Mohamed again!

I was hesitant to travel to Egypt solo, but I had the most amazing 12 days with the greatest tour guide, Mohamed. Mohamed knew exactly when to arrive at each site to beat the heat and avoid the crowds. We had some early mornings and a few busy days, but nothing felt rushed and we had plenty of time to relax on the Nile cruise. Abu Simbel and the Valley of the Kings were highlights. The overnight train was an adventure, but absolutely worth the experience. I would definitely recommend!

This was an amazing trip, one of my favourites ever! The pace and variety is great, there's something new and exciting to enjoy every day and I still felt like we had enough down time to relax. It was a pleasure to have real passionate experts guide you through the trip and share their knowledge about the rich history and culture. Our tour experience was fantastic!! The country is amazing and it has so many wonders, but Mohammed, our tour guide truly took this trip to the next level. I’m a Aussie and did a lot of research prior to picking my egypt trip. There are many tours giving the Egypt experience, however, what I understood stands the great tours apart is the guide. Mohamed was amazing and absolutely made the tour. His behind the scenes work ensured everything was seamless. Mohameds knowledge and passion was infectious and I learnt a great deal more than I thought I would. More importantly he made it fun. He also knew the exact times to go to each site to reduce waiting times and crowd numbers. Our group contained people from various ages and nationalities, which made the experience richer. Could not recommend Mohamed more strongly. If Mohamed is with Egypt Encompassed then that’s where I would go.

Mohamed is an Egyptian encyclopaedia on legs, so knowledgeable & passionate about Egyptian history and a natural at injecting humour into any situation.
This was definitely a tour worth doing. As a group we always felt totally informed of all details of the itinerary of any add on costs for suggested additional activities (which were all well worth doing!) The safety, comfort, concerns and enjoyment of the group was always foremost in our tour leader Mohamed’s mind.

Just back from an amazing time in Egypt and none of this would have been possible without our guide Mohamed. From the very beginning his knowledge and passion for the history and culture of his homeland shone through. His sense of humour and easy attitude along with his ability to bring the histories to life made for an exceptional time. From the pyramids in Giza to the temples of Abu Simbal our little tour group were taken on an exceptional journey. If you are considering taking that trip of a lifetime to see the ancient wonders of Egypt then Egypt Encompassed and Mohamed are a must.

The Nile, Sahara, Pyramids, Sphinx… I can now say “I’ve been there”! Our trip to Egypt turned out to be more than I expected.
