Amazing experience, highly recommend. I have been meaning to write this review for some time. My daughter who is 11 has had ongoing issues with her ears for a few years and the GP can never see her ear drum due to the wax build up, ear infections on holiday and nothing seemed to help. Dawn made my daughter at ease straight away and due to the severity of the wax build up she suggested further oil before trying again. Second time lucky and ive never seen anything like it in my life. I couldn't believe what came out my daughters ears. My daughter could suddenly hear again and kept asking us all to stop shouting. Five star service and such a lovely manner. Dawn went on to help us order ear plugs for swimming on holiday as well as suggest ongoing monthly maintenance that we can carry out at home to stop this issue happening again. I cant thank Dawn enough for helping my daughter. We fly on holiday next week so hopefully no ear infections this time!

Can say enough about Edinburgh Audiology Rehab so helpful with a relaxed service. I woke up one morning to find my right ear had simple stopped working and to this day nobody knows why, now with my left ear damaged from birth hearing was almost nil. Next move was NHS but help would be at least 6 months away so lucky for me a friend suggest Edinburgh Audiology Rehab and I'm so glad I made that call, quick appointment followed by great treatment and help in selecting the hearing aid that suits me, I may have lost my right ear but now have a great left ear.

Date given on review is approximate - Unreservedly recommend this. My boy is 10 years old and, no matter what we tried, his ears seemed to be blocked with wax. Drops did not really help. Could not find anywhere that would look at kids ears. Booked an appointment here for his ears to be checked. They were very blocked (no 'parent of the year' award for me then!) Dawn was able to reassure my boy and remove an embarrassingly large amount of wax. Transformational is not the word - well, it actually is the word. He could now hear perfectly and felt very relieved. Would not hesitate to recommend and use again. Though in the nicest possible way, i hope we don't have to :-)

Dawn was very patient with my son who was initially agitated with having a hearing test. She explained tips and suggestions for us to try at home which led to a successful test and diagnosis at a follow up visit. We have been able to take the report she produced to an ENT consultant who is able to treat with no further tests needed which has given us clarity and helped speed up the treatment process. Would highly recommend.

Visited the Edinburgh Audiology dept for treatment for continual dizziness and Dawn completed the epley manoeuvre. Taking only a few minutes at the clinic, within 2 days I was back to may normal self and no more dizziness. A great relief after weeks of constant and unpleasant dizziness. Highly recommend

I contacted Bev specifically around misophonia. This is not something that many people specialise in but Bev is the real expert. The sessions, guidance, advice, follow ups and documentation are extremely helpful and I am happy to say I cope a lot better now with the support of Bev.

I have been suffering from severe tinnitus since an ear infection and the Scottish NHS have been no use. I am very happy to give an excellent review for EAR, everything was explained clearly and made sense, and the suggested treatment approach has definitely helped. Highly recommended.

Dawn was so patient with my daughter. She eased her anxieties and went above and beyond to test her hearing to ensure we were able to get a clearer picture of what was going on after years of being passed from pillar to post in the NHS. It was extremely helpful speaking to Dawn who is highly knowledgeable and we found the whole experience extremely informative and reassuring. My only regret is that we did not do it sooner.

After a traumatic time of illness which included a symptom of pulsatile tinnitus I was referred to EAR by my ENT consultant. The service I received from Bev was absolutely outstanding and I can’t thank her enough. She saved my sanity. She was so professional, compassionate, understanding and patient with me as I was finding it difficult getting used to wearing hearing aids/finding the most suitable ones for me along with trying to deal with ongoing illness issues. Bev went that extra mile to help me with my hearing aids out with her clinic times and I am so grateful to her for doing this for me.

I would 100% recommend EAR, absolute excellence service from them. So professional but also so compassionate and caring towards the individuals needs.

The Edinburgh Audiologist Clinic made all the difference these past few months in my experience with dizziness. The advice Dawn gave me down the phone I could honestly say, made all the difference between a month of looping anxiety and feeling like there was hope. The appointment itself was relaxing and informative, Dawn had plenty time for me which I was so grateful for being a chronic worrier! I knew from the first conversation that this was a person and a clinic, that cared about the patient over the profit, and I will be recommending this service to anyone in future!

First, very nice approach to the pacient, warm, which is very important to feel welcome and safe. Then, she knows what she is doing. We had a big issue with the wax for years and she managed to take it all out. Will definitely repeat when needed and will totally reccommend. :)

She was incredibly friendly and put me at ease immediately. She was very knowledgeable about the problems I have been experiencing and I felt very relaxed as she carried out the procedure.
