STAY WELL AWAY... I have been with Eco Web Hosting for about 8-9 years now and NEVER had a problem until they were bought out by Enix a few months ago and have now moved the infrastructure. This has been an abslute nightmare as i host a lot of websites and they have completeley desctroyed pretty much all of them in terms if site speed... I have learned that 20i hosted the old servers fro them so looks like ill be transferring to them now.

I wish I could give minus stars. I have about 8 websites hosted with EWH. The amount of times they've gone down over the last few months is ridiculous. And not temporarily, their hosting migrations have caused permanent issues that I've then had to spend hours going in, diagnosing and eventually fixing. They give you no notice of any work they're doing, stuff just goes offline and that's your cue to put aside a few weekend hours to fix it.
My partner has their own hosting with EWH and have had exactly the same situation. I'm so regretful that I renewed for another year just as the issues starting as I had no idea how bad it was going to get.
A shocking decline in professionalism and reliability
Two of my websites were down for 48 hours with no email capacity. It's now 6 days on with erratic email service post-migration. I've lost many emails and folders full of critical emails. Their lack of accountability and customer service is appalling. Since the company were bought out, they've gone rapidly downhill.
If I could give minus 5 stars I would!!!
Avoid by all means necessary, absolutely appalling service since their "seamless migration to faster and more reliable servers" on 6th June 2025.
All 12 of my sites were down post migration due to all of them missing SQL databases, emails are patchy/not working at all for some clients.
Support is non existent despite raising a ticket as urgent when I have clients on my back, I cannot even access certain hosting packages using their new "DirectAdmin" console as it states I do not have authority to access?!!
And to make things even worse, I cannot update my domain tags myself to even move away to another hosting provider, stating "please contact customer support to perform this on your behalf"
Well guess what, technical support have still not responded to me and it's been over 48 hours now, I have websites and emails down, but no one seems to even care!
Another one on the migration-went-wrong list
It looks like I'm another one on the long and growing list of people who have had an issue with the recent migration and then a compounding issue of pretty terrible support.
One particular email account – for my business – has mysteriously only synced some of the folders. The rest are gone, including business records for Companies House and HMRC.
Nobody's taking any ownership of a ticket, and I reached out to Dennis Nind, listed as the "Chief Experience Officer," on LinkedIn to raise my issue further. He's clearly seen my message as he checked my LinkedIn profile, but he hasn't responded. So much for "our commitment to excellence and the goal of helping our clients succeed" and being "committed to elevating the hosting experience through innovation, customer care, and continuous improvement."
They just don't seem to care enough to communicate

I've been with eco for way over 15 years, up until a week ago I've had no worries with them at all. Since the migration I'm having the same problems as everyone else! Emails are always down, websites don't work, customer service is almost non existent. I've got clients on my back asking what's going on, I don't have an answer because nobody is telling me what's going on.
This is a disgrace!!
Could not be more frustrated and…
Could not be more frustrated and disappointed with the service. They migrated to a new server and all I have had are problems: clients with patchy emails, mail that hasn't migrated properly, autoresponders not working. All compounded by awful, patronising AI generated responses telling me they understand my frustration and thanking me for my patience are just not good enough. Responding to messages saying it may take a few hours when it has already been literally days. Asking for error logs when they are already part of the message sent to them just shows that they aren't even reading messages to the end. It's taking days to respond to tech support messages whereas a year ago it was an instant chat feature. They used to be great, but now couldn't be worse.

Devastating Failure And Lack Of Accountability
What a total mess. Nothing working and no resolution through support. Support telephone number has been pulled so can't even speak with anyone. On replies I have had through tickets, there is no acceptance that the email and web service losses are down to upgrade and migration yet it is obvious from here that we are by no means the only ones with an issue. This has now cost me 2 days work with a lot more in front of me as it now looks like all our own and client emails will have to be reformatted. This is a disaster that will have far reaching consequences for my client relationships.

Pathetic Support Now Post migration
They told the email migration will be done by maximum 48 hours and nothing is working, this is a complete disruption for any businesses when emails are not running since last 4 days and they dont have any support on this, i have 7 email threads running with false promises of working on fixing it

Migrated servers that were working perfectly well and in doing so caused me a large amount of work. I don't pay them to cause me admin work, I pay them to host sites for me. Wish I'd never dealt with them now

Avoid at all costs. Customer support has been non existent. Websites and emails have been down for a long time and there is no one to help support.
Go elsewhere
simply put, shocking, it used to be a dedicated small team but now its gone full sized, and the customer care is shocking, they did a migration recently and my clients websites and emails have been down for almost a week, in fact we lost a client because of the service, and to top it off, they now charge for the silliest of things... customer care is just copy and paste... it is a really bad service... sign up with someone else!

Poorly Managed Migration, Questions ECOWEB’s ethos
I have been with Ecoweb for many years and have always found them to manage things well and professionally, until their current migration. Email is down for clients, no syncing of old emails and now we are without any email. Ticket raised over six hours ago and still not even an acknowledgment. The new email host is not responding yet they are claiming a successful migration. This is very poor and I need to reassess my hosting option. They are also expecting customers to manage the update of mail client details without warning or planning. The more mailboxes and client one uses the longer you will be without email. Not acceptable, I doubt we will see offers of compensation from lost business?

I have been with Eco Webhosting for 3 years and it has been always difficult to communicate with them and navigate through their userunfriendly backends. However after the recent migration things have turned really bitter. First they didnt gave us a headsup about the migration, first emails stopped working then the website was down for a week!! then after it was accessible again with many errors, customers where complaining they couldnt complete the order. so we write to the customer service and it was a dilemma. We just received standard emails and it took a month to find the issues. We stopped their service and migrated to another host, because the lost sales and additional IT help we made 3k Loss in this month and I just renewed the hosting service before the issue, not that they didnt gave us any compensation for the issue, they also didnt refund the hosting costs, absolute shitty company, never ever again having a website hosted by these scammers
