I signed up for the AGL $250 gift card Ozbargain offer on 26/11/2025. As the T&C stated that the GC will take up to 4 months to arrive, I waited until late March and contacted Econnex.

After a few emails between Amar Sharma and Joanna Canlas, both agents insisted that the GC was delivered. I checked my Junk box/Deleted item, nothing was found. I searched the keyword "Karta", no result. And, I didn't received the delivered SMS message as well.

Although I repeatedly mentioned it was never arrived, Joanna believed that she solved the case and closed the support ticket.

I got scammed by Econnex and will not trust these people again.

OVER THE PHONE, change my business electricity account to different plan, mentioned that i will receive $400 gift card, but never sent any. they provided falsify information, don't believe their words

Worst experience with this provider - signed up via cashrewards with a promise of $150 cashback.....but NOTHING! No help in sorting out this problem. Off shore call centre is a JOKE - roosters crowing in the background!!!! Deal with providers themselves and not this pack of scammers!

However, it doesn’t compare every provider on the market, so you might not always see the best overall deal. Still, it’s a useful tool to start your search and save time.

Recently used econnex to get a better rate on my power usage. Process was super easy and setup with my new provider was seamless.

I have used Econnex to compare my electricity and then I was able to sign up for the best provider as they did all my work.

Fantastic, easy to navigate comparison sites. It's easy to compare between companies and I like how you can compare multiple services on one site.

They offered gift cards for using their platforms, but never paid out. When I followed up, and provided evidence of my sign-ups, they just gave excuses and then ignored me.

They are also known for paying for reviews on Google, ProductReviews, etc.

Do yourself a favour and use a legit government website instead (e.g. energymadeeasy.gov.au, compare.energy.vic.gov.au).

I just used econnex this past week because my previous electricity company increased their rates a lot. Because there was a promotion for new signups, I had an even stronger reason to join. I opened the site, filtered by what I needed and it gave me a long list of options to pick from. It turned out to be extremely useful at the end, helping me select who I am switching to. An extra credit will also arrive in July for keeping my electricity and gas connection active with the same vendor. Because I already had experience with plans before, I knew which cheap and fast package to choose. I encourage everyone looking to switch to use econnex

Recently I used econnex website to compare my electricity plans as my previous company had increased the rates by a fair amount. They were running a promotion for new signups so I was even more excited. I just hopped on to the site and selected my required filters and I was presented a hughe list of options with so many filters and combinations of options to select my final option. It was so powerful tool and it helped me a lot in finally choosing my provider. I was also eligible for a promotional credit after keeping my service intact with the electricity and gas vendor which I am expecting to come in July. I have had prior experience with them in comparing NBN services as well which helped me get the cheapest and fastest plan. I am going to recomment econnex to everyone planning to make a switch.

Have used them multiple times to change my electricity & gas in the past and never had any issues. Great rates comparison and rewards for switching.
