Simple delivery is great

Reading all those negative reviews about ebay's simple delivery service I was one them giving negative reviews without checking the benefits, when you use eBay's simple delivery you are fully covered as a seller or a buyer,I sold an item and Royal Mail lost the item the buyer opened an item not received case, Ebay notified me I don't need do anything because I used eBay simple delivery I'm covered and they will handle everything that put my mind at ease,a few days later they notified me that they refunded the buyer and I can keep my funds, also as a buyer I bought an item and after a few weeks it had not arrived I notified Ebay that item didn't arrive after a day they concluded the item appears to be lost by the courier and refunded both me and the seller and a few weeks later the item finally arrived I contacted the seller and told him the item has finally arrived and since eBay has refunded me can I pay for the item he message me back saying keep item because eBay said he could keep the payment therefore we were totally happy, it's peace of mind using Ebay simple delivery service because once you take it to the parcel shop and get it scanned that's then eBay responsibility if the item gets lost or damaged by the courier it saves you from claiming against Royal Mail and other couriers, eBay handle everything you don't have to waste your time chasing couriers.I was so stupid jumping on the band wagon criticizing eBay simple delivery service before using it and realised all the benefits it gives you. Here is the Royal Mail tracking number of the lost item YA945596004GB

eBay were even scumbags thrive

(Northerns268) is the vendor in question ,Literally half of eBay vendors have no business to be in business they are the most spiteful company to customers I've ever seen , I literally tried to pay for some with Klama wasn't much like £ 7 just wanted to try it , put a deposit down and they say the send your stuff but the don't till you pay the full amount I don't think they understand what installments are , pretended like they've posted that item even though they're clearly waiting for the next one payment that it would take to pay this literally just waiting for a payday on Friday no money or anything at all orders not being posted even though they say it has the seller is acting oblivious basically avoiding the question seeing all I'm so sorry when they're clearly not offering me my refund and then just ignoring me. Thanks a lot, could do with even £3 , it's better than starving ,don't buy online anymore in this economy is just negligible, cuz when you're hungry and literally have a financial hit they don't care they want to keep every last penny of your money even if they've not provided anything to you. The age of online shopping has gone it is s*** no it used to be good but just sucks now, if the product isn't faulty or misrepresented this will Rob you blind anyway, and then just try negate blame by saying you didn't contact the cell or even though you have in the seller's frankly just ignoring you

Awful awful experience

Awful awful experience, they blocked my account out of nowhere and refused to pay out my pending balance from sold items. I would never recommend anyone to sell on ebay.

How stupid can ebay be

How stupid can ebay be? - they do not allow you to put in your house number in your accounts - so when they send the Royal Mail to pick up a parcel it is just given the road name.
Why do the americans not think?

ebay has gone so downhill...

ebay has gone so downhill in recent years that is is now nothing but a decaying shipwreck from a bygone era. Shockingly poor customer service, rife with scams, and staff completely devoid of ethics and goodwill. The other newer platforms like Vinted and so on have taken over, and for good reason. Lost my parcel in their courier's secure depot and wouldnt refund me at all despite trying for absolutely ages.

eBay = Scammers

This platform does not provide adequate seller protection. Even when tracking, delivery photos, and GPS proof are provided, sellers can still lose ‘item not received’ cases. They are fraudsters.

The old eBay is dead, long live whatever this POS is

Utterly ruined what was once an amazing buying and selling community.

From AI agents to age verification that simply does not work.

eBay have become far more concerned with trying to "catch up" and "innovative" that it's forgotten it started as a virtual car boot sale/flea market.

Buyers are trying little "tricks" to get money off after purchases as there are now guides online of how to force the eBay AI in your favour as a buyer.

Genuine eBay sellers are less and less willing to be helpful, who can blame them with the scams that buyers keep trying?

And if you want to buy a power tool now you have to share credit card details to "verify your age" BUT buying pornographic postcards is fine with no age verification - genius eBay!

If you do come into any issues prepare yourself for the world's most unhelpful "help guides" which are often out of date and finding you through a prior version of the site.

It's sad as I have been an eBay member since ~2008 but now it's mostly just Amazon with extra steps & not a place to buy and sell with your peers.

eBay, I beg of you, pls un-fk yourself!

The owners of eBay have become very greedy, at first they charged a ransom for the item you listed, now they hide the same option under the name "buyer protection" which takes even more of your money.

ebay is a pathetic joke that needs to…

ebay is a pathetic joke that needs to be shut down. I just had a customer threaten me and try to extort me as they order before bank holiday and somehow thats my fault. ebay did nothing and the employee mocked me and took the mickey and thought it was funny then wouldnt put me on to a manager and left me on hold for 45 mins. Complete waste of time. But then I contacted them again and got to a manager and they too did nothing and thought it was funny. Maybe stop out sourcing these lowlifes to run your scam business. Ive had a personal account for over 20 years and I have a business account Ive had for about 16 years and the fees and royal fails insane price hikes constantly make it almost impossible to make any money. But having to put up with pathetic children who use negative feedback and Ill just contact ebay to get my money back is outright fraud and theft. ebay 99% of the time takes the buyers side. Royal mail have internal tracking for their reference numbers. Caught loads of peope out for postal theft and fraud. Guess what ebay and royal fail did? Absolutely nothing. So after wasting an hour and a half and now fumming I only have one choice. Close my account on ebay for good and never deal with the a company that facilitates fraud and theft. They take no responsibility for the crimes they facilitate and commit. But happy to milk us for every penny. The seller always loses. Thats not the sort of platform that anyone should support. Thats the sort of platform that needs shutting down and the people responsible put in prison. Do not waste your time, effort or patience on this criminal company. Go elsewhere it will be the best thing you can do I promise you. ebay will never get another penny off me again. I advise you do the same. They are one of the most hated companyies around. For good reason.

E bay bank payments.

I have been increasingly irritated by the way ebay has pressurised me into using payment methods I do not wish to. It has culminated in me using direct bank payments against my better judgement, and as a result the money was taken out of my account but no order existed on their system. Then they wanted me to pay again! Be very careful with ebay, and shop elsewhere if possible even if it costs you a little more.

Awful buyer experience customer service…

Awful buyer experience customer service will belittle and point fingers but not help. One to avoid for potential buyers as previous have stated "buyers protection" litteraly doesn't mean a thing, and if you say about a bad seller / eBay experience in feedback eBay automatically removes. Bunch of crooks.
