Why is eBay so useless at protecting buyers? I was promised a refund by a lousy business named "Baksol Trusted Shop". Now they say they cannot find my order! This is obviously a scam but eBay is not... See more

Worst customer service EVER
The customer service experience has been highly unprofessional, with no clear or consistent answers provided. In several cases, responses were confusing or misleading, and it felt as though the chat was being closed as quickly as possible rather than the issue being properly resolved.
When I requested a chat transcript, I was first told it had been sent, then later informed it would arrive within 24 hours. However, I never received it. I opened three separate chats regarding the same issue, each with a different support agent, but the experience progressively worsened. Ultimately, my question still remains unanswered.
As with all the other reviews…Avoid this scam site like the plague.
Sold an item which was clearly listed as faulty and not working in the title, for parts/not working in item description. Again listed in advert its faulty and does not work…and lastly clearly stated AGAIN Please do not buy unless you accept this item is faulty and will not be offering returns on it. Funnily enough the buyer was unhappy because it didnt work?! £200 item sold for £50?! Do you really think i would sell this for a quarter of its value if working? Buyer had the cheek of leaving me negative feedback and when i appealed to ebay they rejected because my ad was apparently misleading. Disgusting behaviour from this fraud site and i really do hope they go bust because they really dont deserve to prosper. Needs to be shut down.
Ebay has officially lost the plot
Ebay has officially lost the plot. It does not listen to its sellers, and after 20 years of selling, and buying, I AM OUT!
Misleading ads offering fast delivery…
Misleading ads offering fast delivery which takes a long time to arrive. Takes too long to get a refund and process is complicated. Return postage expensive. Many platforms like Amazon offers free returns. eBay feels old fashioned and past it's sell by date.
eBay are awful
eBay are awful! Permanently suspended my account, but won’t tell me why. Just said risk factors. It was a brand new account and I bought one thing. Shocking customer service. Looking online. Seems to be happening to loads of people. So infuriating!

fake counterfeit goods ebay rep def involved with this i have just been threatened again
you blocked every way me reporting this
I will report to police i want my account closing
You are extremely dodgy place i will not buy we’ll go for again
I will no longer sell on eBay because
I will no longer sell on eBay because, in my experience, the platform is not seller-friendly.
I had over 600 positive feedback reviews and maintained a 100% positive rating. Everything was going well until one buyer left me negative feedback, claiming that the charging cable I sold was “not fast charging.” However, nowhere in my listing or description did I state that the cable supported fast charging.
I appealed the feedback to eBay, but they refused to remove it, saying the listing was “misleading,” even though there was no mention of fast charging at all.
I later contacted the buyer privately, and they admitted the negative feedback was left by mistake and even apologized. Despite this, the feedback remained on my account.
That was the final straw for me. I have now removed all my listings and will never return to eBay as a seller.
Scammers galore
Never buy from this site. Its just full of scammers and fraudsters and nothing happens to these scammers at all theyre allowed to run riot and steal peoples money with no repercussions.

I had 4 lost orders with ebay and won't buy a single thing again from them ,the time and energy lost due to crappy service and especially the delivery company's rate of theft by underpaid drivers dipping in the pot ,not a place to spend money expecting your purchase to arrive ,ebay now is called scam bay.
EBAY IS SELLING AND ALLOWING CHEAP…
EBAY IS SELLING AND ALLOWING CHEAP CHINESE RUBBISH TO BE SOLD IN ITS WEBSITE.
YOU LOT ARE DERECK TROTTER SELLERS. ALL THE RUBBISH THAT ISNT SELLABLE IS ON EBAY.
Delivery dates are not actual or realistic.
About a third of sellers chage the delivery dates after purchase even if ordered at 6 in the morning so they have plenty of time to post. Delivery dates changed from next/3 days to whenever they feel like. No good if you want something by the end of the week. Difficult to get to talk to someone.
Having been an eBay member for 21yrs…
Having been an eBay member for 21yrs and sold/purchased many items without any issues whatsoever, I was extremely disappointed when a buyer requested to return an item as not being as described. I did not agree and reached out to eBay for assistance. To my surprise within in minutes of my request they found in the buyer’s favour and the item would be returned to me at my cost and the £12 promoted listing fee would be retained by eBay. No questions were asked, I expected an investigation particularly given the item was as described and had allegedly become damaged! EBay’s response indicated an automated system without any objective investigation. The buyer left negative feedback and I was not permitted to leave any other than positive feedback.
I felt totally letdown by eBay as clearly without question favour the buyers side. I have subsequently closed my account as I do not wish to be part of an organisation that operates in a biased and disrespectful manner towards sellers.

I would give no stars if I could!
I would give no stars if I could!
I purchased a portable dance floor for over £1200. In the description and information from the seller it said it could either be collected in person, or they could arrange delivery or the buyer could arrange their own courier service. I opted for the latter.
The seller had a responsibility to make sure that she secured the heavy dance floor panels to the portable trolley and to make sure that the loose edging pieces would not fall out of the tray underneath (there was a panel missing from this tray). The seller did not use a ratchet strap or similar to ensure the floor panels didn’t come off and did not do anything to prevent the edging pieces falling out of the tray. She used some duck tape to secure the half panels to the top of the trolley but did not use this anywhere else and she did not use any bubble wrap. She solely relied on the stretch wrap used to wrap round the dance floor which was totally inadequate.
When the dance floor arrived there were 9 large dance floor panels missing and 10 edging pieces missing. I opened a dispute under the wrong category initially but received an email from an agent, Payel M, who advised me that I was fully protected under their buyer protection (which I paid for) and that the seller would have to pay the return costs. He went on to tell me that he had closed down the wrong dispute and opened a return.
A few days later I realised that he hadn’t opened a return so I did so and 2 days later I received an outcome advising me that I would not get my money back. I have tried to appeal but their appeal process is awful as it just involves having to ask for an agent to phone me. The first agent told me that the reason I wasn’t covered was because I was out with the 30 day money back guarantee however this was because the agent had told me that he had opened a return (within the 30 days). I shouldn’t be down over £1200 with the seller getting off Scot free!
How ebay lets things like this slip…
How ebay lets things like this slip through their so called stringent sales policy is way beyond me.
On my recent purchase I received let's say a well known brand for a fraction of the cost. It's advertised as the real McCoy. It came boxed with all the detailed cloned copy of the real deal, product too. But the product is rubbish, not even worth the knocked down price advertised.
Ebays automated service is total tat, no even fit to waste your time of typing in your problem.
I feel let down by ebay, I don't trust their policies. Yes it says this when in reality they don't give a stuff. I've found Amazon to be much better.
Your promises to me about protection mean absolutely nothing to me, in fact not fit for purpose nor given a damn to the individual or their rights. You're about as downmarket as friggin' Facebook....

PURCHASED A TYRE ON EBAY ebay says tyre deliverd security camera, show no deliveries to my address EBAY TELLS ME ITEM MAY STILL BE ON THE WAY ???? WHO IS THE LIAR OR THIEF ?
Ebay refused to help and hung up on me!!
eBay customer service representative hung up on me. Previously when I've managed to speak to a human they have been kind and helpful. This person was unhelpful then when I said they were not offering a fair resolution they hung up on me. eBay standards have been slipping for years and now it's a huge gamble purchasing through their site.
