You are not going to believe this.

I sent XRP to Easycrypto with the wrong tag memo..

I didn't realize this and I was curious that why the money isn't transferred to my bank account for 3hours.

I emailed the helpdesk what happened.

They emailed me back that they can't help it because the tag number is totally wrong which is my stupid mistake.

I asked them that I found some videos who made the same mistake and got their coins back with Binance.

Guess what!!!

Easycrypto did found all my crypto manually for me!!!

Wish I have read the messages here before trade on easy crypto! Same scary experience happening on me. Bought Eth and USDT on 11 Jan but the orders are still not showing two days after. They asked questions why I bought, what it’s for and where is my previous order, requiring a screenshot proof before releasing my orders. So frustrating. I started searching “is EasyCrypto NZ safe” and it brought me here. I am so worried now if they will release my orders. Where shall I complain if my money lost? FMA? Is it a scam? Scary place.

So far so good.
Only used it for a few days, made 3 sell transactions but the whole experience was super smooth and easy.

Wonderful helpful, friendly support staff who picked up an issue before I knew about it. Easily sorted with great fast communication from them.

Easy to use interface

I was not very happy at first as new to Crypto and not confident with crypto and all the rules and regulations. I was asked a whole lot of questions but was informed that the staff come across so many scammers and they are trying to help members hold on to their hard earned money. I highly recommend EasyCrypto as a local exchange for Kiwis. The website is easy to navigate, orders can be done in a matter of seconds. Their support team worked diligently to resolve a couple of minor issues, communication was excellent.

Purchased a few different stable coins through EC.
How much fee did they take?
Gas fees + some other fees they clearly tell you, very little a few bucks :)
EC fees as mentioned above + spread = total fees charged $80 or 6% in total :(

My investment = $1400.
Balance of my investment after their fee deposited into my cold wallet = $1320.

I bought 50 dollars ether. My wallet was credited with less than 40. 20 percent is bloody rediculous. I bought the same amount over metamask/mercuryo and it was less then 5 percent diffrence.

Easy Crypto should be the go to exchange for Kiwis as it is a local exchange within New Zealand. In my due diligence that is why i selected easy crypto. When i made a mistake in transaction with XRP and left out the optional tag by mistake, even though it was clearly in writing I needed to put it in. Easy Crypto assisted me to track it down and helped me to retrieve the funds right before Christmas. They were amazing. All kiwis should use easy crypto.

**Updated to 4 stars after Owner of the company personally contacted and processed the order**
I bought some Ethereum, and support asked why I needed it. After explaining it was for investment, they added the funds to my wallet—no issues there. However, my second Ethereum purchase has been unprocessed for over three days with no explanation given so far (radio silence from support) and money out of bank account as processed via NZ online fast eftpos processing. Lack of any communication is unacceptable.

I first transferred the first batch of Eth (which was processed OK) to my Phantom Wallet to buy tokens not available on their platform. Support then emailed, asking where the funds went and why I moved them and they need to know what my current holdings are. They requested screenshots as proof and to show my holdings (not convinced they are supposed to see that?), I obliged anyway and send them all screenshots, along with an explanation that I’m increasing tokens in my Phantom Wallet for another token under Eth network.

Despite multiple follow-ups about the delayed second purchase, I’ve heard nothing back. I thought I try a local business to make things easy for money transfers.

I’ll update this review as things progress, hoping this is resolved quickly and not require any more escalations. *29/dec - see update below, already resolved now

My ask is not to withhold funds which is against NZ FMA rules, either process and give me the Eth or send money to my bank account.

***Update on 29 Dec: The co-founder of company personally reached out at 9pm local time and processed the order and sent an apology email, it was much appreciated and shows they care about their reputation and want to build a good brand.
Expressed my dissatisfaction as due to the delay caused, Eth buying power had dropped and the asset I was buying on the Eth network had also gone up resulting in opening a lot less positions I could have had if they had processed the order on time. However, I am grateful the ordeal is over now.

Great dealing with Easy Crypto team. I sent the wrong amount to my sell order. I emailed them , Quick reply, and proactive response and sorted my problem out easily. such a relief when dealing with crypto to have great support.

The team were incredibly kind and quick when I accidently sent funds on the wrong network. I was very stressed and they recovered them within a couple days. 100% recommend
