I like the sharpening and denoise and how they work so well together i.e. the denoise does not affect the sharpness and this makes my editing easier where I do not have to keep on adjusting the sharpness after applying the denoise.

I've had a few other photo editing apps over the last few years, and always stuck somewhere in the middle with ease of use and intuitive controls, power and capability, and costs. DXO has been pleasantly surprising on all fronts.
First and foremost, it's a tad expensive to buy up front, but the lack of a subscription fee is amazing. This gives me a lot of feel of value and ownership, as it's mine forever. Upgrades for later releases seem to be managed well with reduced prices for upgrades vs full priced new installs. I haven't used it long enough to upgrade, but I think it will be a no brainer once DXO 10 comes out.
I've tried Photoshop and Lightroom, and as a a very amateur photographer, I felt like PS was just too advanced for me without a class to really understand what the features do. Lightroom was much more intuitive, but the subscription model had me feeling guilty for paying for a product that I might use a bunch during one month, and then barely at all for a couple others if I was busy. DXO strikes a great balance here - it seems very powerful so far, and has helped with some amazing results, like denoising, masking, and other adjustments, but it's been quite easy to learn while watching a few videos on YouTube. On that note, there are definitely fewer guides for DXO versus what you will find for Lightroom, but even as a total amateur I have been able to find plenty of online help to really get the basics down. After about a month of using it now and a few dozen photos, I've started to explore outside of the basic adjustments with some other features you can do in DXO. I'm very much looking forward to trying my hand at some exposure bracketing, and I expect that DXO will do great at it.
I'm still using a couple other software tools for things like upscaling (On1) , as well as some for some more creative edits (Pixelmator Pro), but DXO has been my One-Stop shop for the bulk of the adjustments on every photo I do. My only hope is that at some point in the future we have some of the features like upscaling added into dxo. Being able to do everything from one app would be a fantastic perk.
In short, dxo is a great, powerful tool that comes without the hassle of a monthly subscription, and doesn't require you to have a degree in graphic design to figure out.

The DxO team worked with me to migrate my Nik Collectiuon 8 software to a new Mac. Numerous issues arose and were addressed promptly and effectively and all is now working as expected. I am certyain that I wa a major part of the problem, and the DxO team was supportive, offering solutions and options to get things working properly. Based on htis experience I am looking at increasing my engagement with their software. I hope to upgrade to Nik 9 and PL9 in the near future.

I used to use DxO several years ago. As I’ve aged I really only use my iPhone so DxO is a bit of an overkill in my opinion. Am very interested in NIK collection but much too expensive for me. I still have an old Intel NIK collection on my Mac but that will soon be dropped by Apple.

Ok, but I recently bought nik 8, just before the release of the 9. Asked for a discount for 9…. Looks fair, but the answer was no…. Not that customer friendly as I am DXO customer for maybe already 10 years …

Excelente software en muchísimos aspectos.
Hablo en concreto de Dxo Photolab 9.
Totalmente recomendable.

I just love what PhotoLab and Viewpoint in particular can do with my raw files and even with jpegs. The only thing that spoils the experience for me is MS Windows, really. Hardly DxO's fault! I also use Filmpack and occasionally Nik Collection, which I should really explore more.

A great program that still needs little improvements.
For instance, I miss the option to remove the border halos without using „double masks“. I would also like to have an oval mask. But otherwise, it’s a lot of fun to work with, and the results are truly stunning!!

I've been using DXO Photolab for years. The software is not cheap but it is really good, producing superb accurate colours and superb clear photos from RAW, with great flexibility for local tweaks. The optional add on and plug-in software modules vary from superb Silver Efex to essential to expensive. Overall, I'm satisfied.

After I had upgraded my computer’s operating system the program wasn’t fully operational. Parts were working while others were not. I had to contact DxO for help on the weekend. Their team contacted me within 24 hrs and the problem resolved shortly after.

The DXO Nik Collection is undoubtedly one of the best plugin tools the image editing market has to offer. Also, their support team usually responds quickly and is helpful. Simply perfect!

DxO provides a complete editing package that is easy to install and use. I use PhotoLab 8 and Nik Silver Efex primarily for developing infra red images which I convert to black and white. The steps are spelled out in a U-tube video "DxO Photolab for infrared" by Rob Shea. This is the easiest method although Photolab has not as yet created a method to use the Channel Mixer as found in Lightroom or Pixelmator. Having that option would make Photolab 8 untouchable for infrared.
I find the Film Pak an important extra; I am basically film photographer and when I use an editor I like to come as close as possible to various films. I am a minimalist and rely on traditional functions such as "burning and dodging" and fine the various lighting control functions more than adequate. They are sufficient enough that I do not have to rely on "desaturation" alone in converting color digital to black and white.
Recently, I had issues with my MacBookPro and security licenses which limited various download functions. DxO was able to provide help well beyond what Apple could offer and the matter was cleared up as I upgrade operating systems.
I have used DxO products for about 5 years and see no reason to switch. Lightroom and Photoshop are nowhere as flexible for me and I don't like the subscription policy. One of my next tasks is to delete them from my applications.

Took multiple emails over many days whereas a simple 30 second phone call would have solved the problem. Might want to consider a paid/subscription plan to give phone access to support staff (preferably with native English speakers).

DXO PureRAW is a very good software solution to improve pictures, made by high ISO.
Also the support team is excellent, by finding a specific solution for my laptop.
All in on…perfect !!!
