I have been using the DVDVideoSoft Studio package with a premium license for many years now.
I mostly use the YouTube to MP3 Converter app.
When error messages kept cropping up, DVDVideoSoft helped me within a couple of days.

After going into cooperation with google youtube DVDvideosoft has been an alldownwards spiral. Cant download anything without signing into google account and atm the 'tap yes' notification doesnt work at all from google so this app is destroyed beyond repair. Abandon this shitstrm videosoft made. It was good over a decade ago. Now its done for.

When error messages kept cropping up (because YouTube changed the timing cycles slightly!), DVDVideoSoft helped me first-class within a few hours to a few days.

My UNLIMITED Premium key stopped working with the new version 4.4 of YouTube to MP3 converter. This is frustrating as when i purchased the Premium Key it was advertised that will work forever. It is still advertised that the Premium Key will last forever. I contacted the customer support and after a few emails responded by automated reply, Alexis helped me to reactivate my Premium Key.

Scam - stay away

Update: Since I received a seemingly helpful suggestion to contact support... All I am getting from that email-Adress are nonsensical replies. The last one actually admitted that they do not have a permanently working Mac version. Since they sold me a lifetime subscription for an immature product, I have asked for a refund. Waiting to hear back...

…The customer service actually initially advised they would issue a refund on Paypal. However, that refund never arrived - and when I chased I was referred to a 60 day limit (which I believe is for customers changing their mind, but not for bad products). Anyway, you could kot make this whole thing up and I completely lost trust in these guys that I am removing the software and writing off my money. I just hope this review helps others!

… latest update: I eventually received a sensible answer from customer service with the link to a software that now seems to work ok on Mac. i upgraded my review from 1 to 3 stars on that basis, but still believe the whole customer experience around this is not worth more.

…very last and final update: After experiencing an ok performance for a few weeks, the tool has gone back to respond with “Forbidden” to any kind of download attempt (even on my own uploads, so clearly not a licensing issue). I am finally giving up and will stick to my initial recommendation to stay away!

I bought my lifetime membership in 2017, when I read other reviews, especially someone had challenges, feels like I had similar experience, I would like to share what I did, hope to help you out. When software functionality not as design, most of the time, upgrade to latest version is the solution, sometimes after upgrade, issue still there, I normally uninstall it, but keep profile for uninstall option, so you don’t have to input key again, then reinstall latest version, it function well, only upgrade, sometimes not always working. If you change computer, which I did couple times in the past years, I got the error of exceeding limit, and sent request to support, they reactive my key, then I can use it on new laptop, I did couple times already, all worked. Hope that helps, overall, I am happy with the software functionality and my experience. Cheers!

I purchased the Lifetime Premium package (YouTube to MP3) in January 2024. It became non-functional a couple months ago displaying a "Parsing Error 100023". I asked for help in fixing this matter. I am told it's no longer supported in Chrome and I need to run it in Mozilla. Otherwise, I need to wait for their developers to upgrade the product. This was not acceptable so I requested a refund in good faith. They have refused my request.

STAY AWAY! FRAUD COMPANY!!!

They ask for a LIFELONG purchase of a programm that after a while is not supported anymore and for the newer version they ask money AGAIN!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Do not waist your money! It is a scam! Lifetime membership, used for few month, after that "error 300"messages pops up. Customer support keep sending automated links that do not work.

UPDATE
I have had a reply from support where they say they know of the issue and are working on it. They will let me know when there is a fix.

Personally, if they’d said that to me in the first place, I wouldn’t be putting one star reviews on Trustpilot. I’d just wait and hope they would fix it.

But I am annoyed at the time I’ve spent getting to an answer that they could have announced from the start. Also the time I’ve spent trying solutions that I think they know won’t work.

So here’s the email from support so that it’s public knowledge…

Free youtube to mp3, once very good, hasnt worked for a couple of months now.
I get Error 300 every time.
I have lifetime membership and it says it is active.
I expect I will get a response from DVDsoft below and it will say something like ...
"We are sorry for your problem, please contact support and we'll get a solution"
Well, I had done that a couple of months ago and had no response to date and so I've done it again today,
So I also expect "Support times have increased"
It seems pretty obvious that lifetime membership is not that.
Message to DVD videosoft... please be honest and say that the lifetime model has stopped working rather than pretend it will be fixed without paying again. Just say you did your best but need more funds to continue.
All your "lifetime" users would like to know where they stand. Then we can decide if we trust you with our money again.

Just received 28/08 a further updated version 4.4.10 .808. Programme took a long time to load as did link transfer. Trust this version will be more stable. Have tested twice & OK for now.

I have over many years a good experience and rated 5 star with life time premium membership. It is a real shame reliability has gone down hill despite many updates. I appreciate YouTube make amendments and actions are required but system now unusable. Have sent in many e-mails to log and whilst an auto response received, I have reached a point where software does not work nor any indication of a resolution or time frame. please be honest and explain. Now very disappointed and left hanging. Please respond by return to give some hope and re instate some confidence in the Company towards a 5 star rating

Old version doesn't work anymore -> updated -> old license is not accepted for the new version. This is a SCAM!

Horrible. No matter how many updates, their product still doesn't function properly. FREE products work better than this garbage.

Excellent products, excellent customer support. The YouTube to Mp3 downloader would be worth it at 10 times the price.

I'm on my second "lifetime" Premium Membership.If you change your pc or reload the the system then it counts them up and says "Enough. Buy another Premium". Now I can't download from Youtube because it flags up Forbidden code 105403.All DVDVideosoft advises is to reload the latest version and that they are aware of the glitch.That was weeks ago and it still doesn't work.
