BEWARE: no returns for c29 ebike options
I bought the c29 Ebike for my husband's birthday. The bike is great, and arrived fairly quickly. However, there are several options available when you buy the bike including hydraulic brakes which that are selecred during the purchase. These arrive as a separate package and the existing brakes have to be removed and replaced. My husband decided he didn't want these, but the company will not allow us to return for a refund, stating that they do not refund 'upgrade accessories'. As this was an included as an option and not an 'upgrade' I am disputing this, but want other buyers to be aware of extremely poor customer support.
EDIT based on response from company. This is the email from DUOTTS support "Our accessories do not support return and exchange. And you have opened the package." I repeat what I have said above: the order for the bike came with 'options' not accessories. You are using this language to scam customers into parting with their money.

I placed an order for a bicycle with Duotts, and they provided me with a UPS tracking number. However, UPS reported that they couldn’t pick up the parcel initially, and now they say the parcel is missing. It appears Duotts only created the shipping order but never actually shipped the bicycle. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I have yet to receive the product I paid for, and the lack of proper follow-through is unacceptable. Be cautious when ordering from this company.

Absolutely the worst customer experience possible. Ordered an electric bike (C29), confirmation of order, then details of despatch.. Sounds good. NNNNNNOOOOO! Despatch email references 2 links and an invalid reference. DSL and 17track.net. Neither recognise the details. DSL it turns out have nothing to do with the delivery, rather it turns out to be DSL E-Commerce (don't ask). Delivery delayed day after day (on the day around lunchtime), Duotts have no ability to contact them (neither do you) but give you an invalid number to call. Repeatedly tell you "to be patient". I WILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. (Yes it eventually turned up ! but for sooo looong thought I had been scammed... No confidence in ever dealing with them again!). Worst customer experience ever.
Forgot to mention they send you online coupons that AREN'T VALID FOR THE UK AND IT ISNT OVIOUS UNTIL YOU PRESS THE BUY BUTTON !

Truly awful
Truly awful. The bike arrived with one wrong part which they refuse to replace and the front caliper is rubbing on the brake disc, so I'll have to take it to a bike shop for repair. Customer service are rude and unhelpful.

Experience, what experience
Funny, Duotts is asking me to rate my experience and so far I did not receive the part I ordered (charger for an e-bike C29). Charger lasted only 18 months. I have to puchase a new one at 49 Eur. So bad product but I have no option than to buy a new one. Charger is completely sealed so cannot repair it unfortunately. Please Duotts make an effort to build a protective box with screws for your charger enabling us to try a repair before throwing it away and spending more money.
Beside the service seems effective as they asked details re my bike to send me the correct charger. I'll see if it reaches me or not and how fast. I will then rate "my experience".

Scooter D99: After a few month of light use, 100 km, the battery was totally destroyed (0 volt on voltmeter...) and doesn't charge any more.
Despite been still in warranty period, when I contacted service/duotts.com, they royally offered me 20 euros to cover the repair costs while implying that I was trying to steal a battery.
Don't trust any answer added to this post, if you buy from Duotts and have a problem, you will lose your money.

My balance ability is the problem. Yes it does accelerate very quickly making it suitable to use on roads, grass tracks and gravel paths but not on the flinty stony ground that make uptake paths around us.
The battery display was caused by I know not what but it corrected itself.
The power failure was caused by me trying to make the settings suit me which is not possible. A lot of the parameters are inactive so only those mentioned in the handbook will work. The internet says otherwise but it's not so.
Even more embarrassing is that their after sales contact has been second to none. I owe them an apology as they have been there very quickly.
It's a shame that the bike is not for me but a combination of it's inflexible acceleration and my lack of balance ability means it's not for me but it would suit lots of people. Seeing my forty year old son and younger daughter in law whizz around the garden on it without a care in the world proved to me that it is, for most people a very good buy.
The bike looks great but the display shows empty when the battery shows green. I've soak charged it till the charger showed green but still the display shows a dead battery. Trying to get any help from duotts is a sure and certain route to heart failure. Very quick to reply prior to purchase but I'm sitting here with a brand new bike (less than a week old) that I daren't use for fear of the display being right and the battery wrong.
They need to buck up.
But wait: There's more!
All of those whiz controls in the controller, like the one that limits the speed to say 1 MPH, off you go and it goes straight up to 15 MPH and accelerates like a .303 bullet. None of them do what they say they do. Not the take up of power, not the speed limiter and so on. It's a complete fabrication and there's seemingly no way to fix it. In many ways and under the wrong bottom it's dangerous.
Review after 500km
After some initial issues with the Duotts C29 (wonky brake disc and the inner tube exploding) how the company helped to rectify the issues and my subsequent use of the product after has been really good.
I have 3 batteries in total for the bike and have used it for one long journey (using up all 3 batteries in around 7-8 hours with a mix of assist level 2 and throttle mode) along with using the bike for a work commute.
The quality seems to hold up and everyone i have shown the bike too is also impressed. If you are looking for an ebike i would recommend duotts
