only attend if you want to loose your life

We were referred to this garage by the AA after our car broke down, and it quickly turned into a stressful and life-threatening experience. The garage initially tried to bypass the AA process, convincing us to pay directly and changing the repair quote. They even suggested we cancel the AA and falsely claimed certain repairs weren’t necessary. This made us very uncomfortable, and we decided to collect the car instead.
When we arrived to pick it up, they claimed the car’s lights weren’t working, which is why they couldn’t complete the repairs. However, when we got in the car, the lights were perfectly fine—another misleading statement. My friend went back to question them, and that’s when things took a shocking turn.
As he approached the office, the owner physically assaulted him by punching him in the throat. Then, another worker from the garage ran over and began to choke him on the ground until others intervened. This was witnessed by multiple people, and legal action was successfully taken.
The receptionist, who is the owner's wife, was unprofessional and rude, clearly feeling protected by the violent behaviour of the staff.
I wouldn’t recommend this garage to anyone. It’s beyond me how a business like this is allowed to operate with such unprofessional and aggressive behaviour. Avoid this place if you value your safety and well-being.

appalling customer service.

to take car on Friday 08/04/2022 around 9:15, car would not start so called the garage if they could collect the car.
advised yes £50 to collect car and £50 to diagnose. if to be fixed discount of £25 for diagnostics.
Friday afternoon called to see of any progress on diagnostics, was advised by reception car not seen to yet, but will be called on Saturday with diagnostics.
Called at 11:30, spoke to mechanic who said said would be fixed monday afternoon. Luckily off work for 2 days now so thought ok good.
Monday comes call again around 12:30, now told car wont be ready for Tuesday, and was adamant did not tell me car was going to be ready for Monday. advised i need the car for work. so was told not to worry, "You will have it Tuesday".
Called at 12 on Tuesday, left message to have mechanic call me back, no call received, waited till 3pm, called again and advised by reception, due to part that arrived was the wrong part, it will now be wednesday, advised to speak to mechanic, mechanic called me back, i challenged the fact that was told multiple times car would be fixed the next day, hes retort was to say "if you are going to be like this then come get your car!" , to which i said , "dont you think its common courtesy to let a customer know that there will be a delay" since this is not a toaster its a car i use for work, I would expect to be notified of any delays, which i wasnt. hes response was " someone would of called when we left that the part was wrong and that it would not be fixed yet" "we dont have to call customers for every little thing".
Ended the call with Car will be ready now Wednesday at 12. Which it was, but will never be using them again, appalling customer service.

Poor quality, Rip off merchants

Rip off merchants. Full of false promises and lies.

The work will always be poor quality when they underpay their staff. Underpaid, badly managed.

Avoid this company at all costs! I would seek a more reputable provider.
